My favorite taco stand in LA. The owner of this stand is so insanely nice, funny, and remembers all of his customers! Aside from amazing service, free flowing onions/salsas on the side, the tacos are here bomb. The pastor, asada, and cabeza are my favorite and when you add them with cheese? The best!!

Tacos la Bendicion is one of those incredible spots that you kind of want to keep to yourself because it's so good and the lines aren't too crazy (yet). But I know we all want the best for these people, so I'll join in the chorus of 5-star reviews for this taco stand. This taco stand is right outside Kim's Home Center in Koreatown, and it has some of the best al pastor and asada tacos / burritos I've had, especially in the Koreatown area. The salsas are also very flavorful and spicy, and the provided sides have been consistently fresh. The portions here are also very generous. The staff here are very nice, and they provide some chairs nearby to eat. It's always felt a very homely atmosphere here, and I've enjoyed every single one of my visits. Definitely give Tacos la Bendicion a visit if you're around!

I was in the area and craving tacos so after a quick Yelp search I came across Tacos la Bendicion. I went around 9pm on a Sunday and there was a good amount of customers at that time but service was very quick. I ordered a carne asada quesadilla ($10), al pastor and chorizo tacos ($2.50 each), plate of rice and beans ($5), and horchata ($4). The entire setup was very clean and there were plenty of salsas and toppings to pick from. I'm so glad I found this gem because the food was delicious and all the meats had great flavor! Highly recommend!

The Al pastor tacos were juicy and crispy and full. Great unexpected taste! There was no line, but don't let that fool you! This place was worth it.

Such a hidden gem, i'm sure many other taco stands are similar but tacos are truly unmatched in Southern california. Perfect amount of char, grease, & flavor. They load it up with meat. The tortillas are cooked in al pastor juices and the entire buffet of salsas, toppings on the side at your disposal make for a classic taco stand staple.

This was a nice little find. I was checking out Kim's Home Center for the first time, and this taco stand was set up outside. The tacos was $2 each and quite delicious. I got the pastor and asada. I love the pineapple slice that they add to the pastor tacos. It gives another layer of sweetness to the flavor. They also have a good selection of hot sauces. Their cooking smells delicious, and the taste match it. If you're craving good good tacos around this area, check it out.

When I just moved to Koreatown LA, and was looking for a new regular taco location, I'm glad I found Tacos La Bendicion! This location is an undisvoered gem in LA, and the staff was very kind. Gabino makes some fire tacos! He was very kind to us and got to know all our names. The Al Pastor Tacos along with the Carne Asada are definitely meats that you should try. I pineapple slices give a nice layer of sweetness to the flavor. There are the standard sauces too, and the condiments are perfect as well!

Al pastor tacos

The price was rlly good $2.50 per taco. $2 for a canned soda. The al pastor was thoroughly cooked, giving it a crispiness that made each bite tender and crunchy! The pineapple is always such a nice addition. Very clean spot. Very solid street tacos.

I'm picky, but Ave 26 delivers every single time. It's super affordable, open 24/7, and there's always plenty of parking, which is a huge win in LA. Plus, it's honestly one of the best spots in town for people-watching while you eat. Let's talk favorites. My absolute must-order is their al pastor burrito with everything. It comes loaded with tons of smoking hot, perfectly seasoned al pastor meat, melted cheese, and incredible flavor. To top it off, they have a solid lineup of tasty salsas and spicy condiments to customize every bite just how you like it. Whether you're wrapping up a late night out or looking for the perfect spot to celebrate after a Dodgers game, Ave 26 has got you covered. Get out there after the win and grab a burrito -- you'll thank me later.

When they handed them to me, my first thought was, what the heck am I looking at? They serve the tacos open and completely loaded, so you almost can't tell what's underneath everything until you pick one up. These things were packed with meat, onions, cilantro, cheese, crema and all kinds of flavor. The tortillas were probably what stood out the most. They had this crispy cheese around the outside that gave every bite a great crunch and a blue tortilla that's soft. Once you fold everything together, it gets pretty messy, but it was surprisingly really good and very flavorful. For around six bucks a taco, I really can't complain, especially considering how much they put on them. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to drive all the way back to Highland Park just for these, but I'm glad I finally tried Villa's Tacos. Definitely a unique taco experience.

I came here for dinner on a week night and my experience here was pretty good. I had the asada and al pastor tacos with all the toppings and they were both so good and full of meat and heat. The toppings can be spicy for some, so be warned. My favorite of the two was the all pastor which was flavorful and I did like the thinly shaved meat. It was not dry at all and was fresh. I also tried the mulita with al pastor meat and that was also soso good. Cheesy, meaty, and indulgent. The additional topping section had good variety with pickled onions, cucumbers, etc. and everything seemed pretty fresh. Unfortunately, they were pretty much out of the roasted pepper and grilled onions at the time I went. To drink, I had the horchata and that was also very delicious. It was huge, sweet, and creamy. I also loved how it was not grainy at all. A good pairing with the rich foods. They also have a good amount of seating at the stand with a long table and multiple chairs. Parking is tricky since its street parking only.

Just make sure you order enough the first time so you dont have to wait in line again. There is some parking but it gets pretty crowded too so you might have to street park (and the area around can get a little sketch) so be careful. I arrived right before they opened and there were 6 customers already waiting outside, the food has always been outstanding and I think the pricing is also great though I firmly believe you get A LOT OF QUALITY for what you pay. That mesquite smoke is insane and you can smell and taste it in their food. Their most simple item I've tried, bean and cheese burrito, is so amazing! I mean, how can something so simple make me say "OH WOW" every single time? Must be the flavor added by the lard they use in their flour tortillas. I also reheated two of these burritos next day, they were still tasty! Their burrito 2.0 is hands down the best burrito I have ever ever had: simple, their asada is amazing, they season their beans and the guacamole is great! Their salsa is super tasty though I always struggle to eat it because it is super spicy (I'm not used to eating a lot of spicy food, so for those of you who do, you may love it!). You can tell that it's house made and I liked the chewy texture of it. However, respectfully the filling felt and tasted like bean goo. I could only really taste the refried bean flavor which was strong. It kind of meshed all the components together into a gooey filling. I got this with asada meat and the meat was kind of chewy and not so flavorful on its own. Props to the tortilla though for not spilling everything out and holding it together well, but still a bit difficult to eat. I would ask for utensils when eating this dish. The green onion garnish was unique. I wish they gave more lime wedges because that helped elevate the dish. For $13 this wasn't too bad, but I'd rather get a better burrito from a street vendor. This is a casual eats type of place with both indoor and outdoor seating and tables. They also serve alcohol and even frozen alcoholic drinks. They have a free parking lot in front, but it can be competitive to get a spot. Overall, my experience here was just okay and I would opt for other spots.
