Service was very fast and efficient. The restaurant wasn't super busy and the staff were friendly. The tacos were great but the burrito bowl was alright. I definitely would recommend a taco over the bowl.

Don Julios was packed (surprise) so we drove down Chickasaw to give this place a try. It's a counter service restaurant with a pretty extensive menu which made it difficult to pick. My wife had the Tamale platter which she enjoyed. The mild sauce is hotter than most mild sauces. The Masa was moist and delicious and the filling was also good. I ordered a chimichanga which was huge. However, it wasn't very crispy. The tortilla ended up being a bit leathery. I got chicken and chorizo as the filling and both meats were excellent. I wish I would have just ordered a burrito. I also tried an Al Pastor taco which was good. However, I probably shouldn't have gotten all of the toppings. The meat was delicious though, and the tacos are a bargain. Other than the taco, I thought it was a bit pricey for what you got. It was busy so other may not agree. I would go back and will just order tacos next time. They do have a wide assortment of protein to choose from. And I know I love their chorizo and chicken.

Good and fast service if you're in a hurry and hungry. Got this to-go on my lunch break on a Monday evening. I like that the tacos are double tortillas to make it sturdier. However, the tortillas were not grilled enough and still fell apart despite being double wrapped. It made the experience sloppy and I normally enjoy the corn tortilla since I eat gluten free. I ordered 1 of each Shrimp, chicken, and al pastor tacos with all the toppings. I was left with a bunch of leftover soggy corn tortilla in the end. My boyfriend enjoys their burritos and I'm sure their flour tortillas don't have the same problem of falling apart like the corn do. It was filling for the affordable price of 3 tacos but I wouldn't go back for tacos again. I normally go to the tacos el Rancho on John young and their tacos always hit the spot. This is a smaller mom and pop sized restaurant that seems to be an extension of the same chain. I live 5 minutes from this location so hopefully they can adjust their tacos to match the quality of their original location.

Food is amazing m!!! Reminds me of my grandmas food Service was great I highly recommend this location the staff is amazing, it can be a little pricey but is definitely worth the quality. I got the Gold chimichanga with Chicken and steak best item there!!!!

The napkin holders need to be cleaned badly this wasn't the worst one we accidentally cleaned it a bit when I grabbed a napkin.

My bestfriend brought me here sooo excited her and her family have been coming for years... Today the staff she's never seen. The young man who took our order made us repeat it about 6 times it was pretty bad I won't lie and I had to step in to repeat it so she wouldn't go off. Mind you his mask was off as well The order was 2 chicken 1 asada 1 pastor 2 shrimp With cilantro & onions only & salsa on the side. 1 elote w/ everything on it. All young & had their masks off completely or just hanging off their face as in tucked in beneath the mouth. The staff were super loud talking about a wedding & shoe shopping we couldn't really converse about half way through they finally put the music on which helped. Tacos were great! Shrimp was lacking a little flavor. Overall great food but customer service is lacking for the staff presently working today. Will be back though!

This is the bottom of the flan.

We are in about the middle of 2 of their locations. It used to be the Conway location and we had wonderful food every time. For some reason, its changed to the Chickasaw location and it hasn't been as good. The last time we ordered, we ordered a pork tamale platter. One of the tamales was pork, but the other was a spicy chicken tamale. I'm a little wimpy when it comes to spice and it was too much for me. This time we ordered flan for dessert. The texture was mushy and when I turned it over it was kind of black on the bottom, see the picture. Im hoping it baked too long and scorched somehow, but it looked almost like mold. It went in the trash. I'll go back to the Conway location instead.

Super fresh ingredients with my carnitas taco salad. Hot sauce is the perfect heat and service was fast. Definitely the new taco spot!

Small place off Chickasaw in the public plaza. I've seen this place pop up on Uber Eats a lot and I'm always looking for a new taco joint to try out. Food prices are average, and menu is pretty basic.

Friendly staff and good mexican food. Their aguas frescas are good too and the restaurant is small but clean.

When I sat down, I ordered the frozen Margarita flight, which came with a watermelon, mango, and strawberry Margarita. All of them were pretty good, but by far the mango was my favorite. It tasted just like you were drinking mango nectar. For my entrée, I ordered the Carne Asada tacos. They had such a great taste, and the portion size was quite generous. I ordered it with rice and beans, and it all left me feeling quite full. The atmosphere is also quite nice. With it being in the heart of downtown orlando, I thought it might be loud and busy in there, but it was actually quite quiet and relaxing. The service was also very quick and prompt to get all of our food. Our waitress made sure to check in with us throughout service to see what we needed!

When we arrived, the restaurant was practically empty, there was no hostess, and we had to wait to be acknowledged. Our server (a Hispanic woman with heavy goth-style makeup--I didn't catch her name) was polite enough, but there were several missed opportunities to improve the experience. The biggest issue was that they were out of multiple menu items we specifically came to try. We had also planned on ordering the duck-themed cocktail that was pictured online, only to be told, "We don't do that anymore." If that's the case, the menu and promotional photos should really be updated. Food: * Chicken Nachos - 3/10: Mostly burnt chips with hard, unmelted cheese. There was barely any chicken, and they lacked flavor. * Watermelon Margarita - 0/10: It was extremely sour. I sent it back and ordered a frozen margarita instead. * Frozen Margarita - Average at best. What was frustrating is that happy hour started about seven minutes later, and our server never mentioned that nearly everything we ordered would have been half-price. A heads-up would have been appreciated. * Street Corn - 6/10: The tableside presentation of cutting it off the cob was nice, but that's really what you're paying for. It could have used much more seasoning, and only two small pieces of corn were served. * Shrimp Tacos - 2/10 * Fish Tacos - 2/10: Both were soggy and lacked flavor. * Spanish Rice - 1/10: Bland and disappointing. Overall, the food was underwhelming, several advertised menu items and drinks weren't available, and the service missed opportunities to enhance the experience. For the prices, I expected much better quality, better communication about happy hour, and a menu that matched what was actually being offered. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning.
