NO MEAT NACHOS - happy hour nachos for 6.99!
    Lisa K.

I passed this spot on Howell Branch one afternoon and vowed to come back to check it out. It's a fairly small place with kiosk ordering and just enough 4 seater tables to eat comfortably. The food came out quickly for my party of 6. I ordered the nachos because they were on special for 6,99. I was worried that it would not be enough food to fill me up, but boy was I wrong. They layer those toppings in there so no chip is left behind. I couldn't even finish the tray. I also ordered a side of esquites and it had just the right balance if tangy-creamy-salty that we all love in elote. My dinner compadres ordered quesadillas and tacos. There was not a unsatisfied palette in the bunch. We will return!

I had seen advertisements online for this place and finally was next to one so I had to give it a try. First off, they have this incredible creamy garlic sauce that has a garlic and cilantro flavor. It goes perfectly on everything. They're horchata is some of the best I have ever had. It doesn't have too much of a cinnamon flavor and isn't overly sweet. Just a really nice blend. The chicken and steak tacos had quite a lot of meat in it. I wasn't too impressed with the esquitas So I would probably skip that one next time. It tasted like canned corn which I'm not a big fan of. You order from the kiosk so the interaction with the employees is limited. They do bring it to your table if you eat there. At the end of our meal I ended up going up to the employee and asking them what was in the garlic sauce because I was so impressed. I also complimented them on the horchata mix. This location isn't very big but there's a few tables inside so as long as it's not too busy you should be able to eat there. Overall I would definitely go back here again and you should try it out too. Just make sure you get the creamy garlic sauce because it is out of this world.

They had really good flavors and I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried here. I ordered the flouta and also tried the quesadilla and horchata. The horchata was amazing, their garlic sauce was incredible and my flouta was crunchy and delicious too. The service was friendly and they brought our food out to us quickly. The location is small, but the decor around was interesting and fun. Overall, I would say this is a great place to order some quick and tasty food if you're in the area.

Order in hand. Let's go home and eat!

I am so stoked! Tacos My Guey just opened a restaurant in Winter Park 2 minutes away from my house, yayyyy! It is in a small plaza right on Howell Branch Rd right by Donut King. I came in and was immediately greeted. I approached one of the 2 kiosks to start placing my To-go order and was offered assistance by the staff. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The ambiance is very relaxed and there is good salsa music playing. I waited about 10 minutes for my order to be ready. The food was yummy. The chicken was a bit bland, but everything else was delish, especially the al pastor tacos.

Oh my goodness am I glad this location has opened in Winter Park. I had never tried this chain and I am in LOVE with the chicken nachos. If you get them at Happy Hour they are only $5 and SO WORTH IT! We had to crack open an additional bag of tortilla chips when we got home as they are SO generous in the toppings. I will be coming back over and over again to try new menu items but so far I dont know how they are going to beat those nachos. The service here is so friendly and happy. They thanked me so many times for coming to try them out. Its such a great addition to this strip mall. WONDERFUL! There are places to eat inside if you dont want to take out. All indoor seating with upbeat music and great vibes.

I visited with my husband and had such a great experience! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful when we had questions about the menu. Everything we tried was delicious, but our absolute favorite was the birria quesadilla. So good! We also grabbed a chicken and steak bowl to-go for lunch the next day, and the food saved really well. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

Got dinner from this spot last night. I picked up my order but the inside of the restaurant was very clean and modern. I had been seeing the opening soon signs so when I saw it was opened I had to try it. I got the birria trio with the three birria tacos and it was excellent. Crispy, cheesy tortillas filled with marinated flavorful beef birria. The beef inside was also super cheesy. I got super full and satisfied from it. My husband got a burrito and enjoyed it as well. His only comment was it could've been a bit more flavorful but he still really enjoyed it and told me got full from it. Prices were reasonable as well. We will be back since it is so close to our house and has yummy food. Can't wait to try other menu items.

If you're driving too fast on the 436, you will easily pass it. It's tucked back off the road, look for their blue sign or the inflatable tube man (that is usually waving its arms in the wind). Service is excellent, super friendly and welcoming. The spot is always very clean and inviting. Traditional Mexican music videos playing on a few tv screens, nothing too distracting...adds to the ambiance. We've tried quite a few dishes here and have never been disappointed: chicken enchiladas with house "special sauce", shrimp and mushroom enchiladas, the chicken tortilla soup is really flavorful and LARGE, grande burrito, chimichanga, and we always order guacamole. They never have a lot of customers (I would assume because of the set back location), I hate sharing one of my local favs but, I definitely want them to stay in business!

The house margaritas were too sweet for my taste. I was excited for the birria tacos after the rave reviews but the beef was dry. Same with the chicken in our other dishes. I'll ask for my margarita to be less sweet, and I'll go later in the evening to see if the meats are fresher cooked and more juicy and tender.

Unfortunately, as much as I love the food there and the ambience, especially on Cinco de Mayo, I was starving! I remembered around the corner there was a restaurant that had been recommended in the past, but I never got the chance to check out. Being that I was in the area, I figured let's give this spot a try. Lo and behold, El Pueblo was only six minutes down the road! There was a 20 minute wait, but I was greeted kindly by the staff, and when I walked in you could tell this place was super authentic. The decor was super vibrant and music was bumping. They do not have alcohol, but they have coronas and a margarita type glass premixed for purchase. That held us over for the time being. The chips and salsa were phenomenal. The salsa had some type of sweet pepper flavor to it and you could tell it was homemade. My friend got three tacos with rice and beans and I got the flautas you were able to choose your own meat, which was really cool no extra charge. Sometimes back up plans can end up being the best finds. Definitely will be back!!!!
