First time at this spot and we're already planning our next trip back! Hands down the best carne asada tacos I've had in Tijuana, perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled to perfection. The nachos were loaded and delicious, and the guacamole was super fresh, creamy, and packed with flavor. The flan was also amazing. Honestly, everything we tried was excellent, our group basically ordered one of everything on the menu and there wasn't anything that didn't taste great. Service was fantastic; very friendly, attentive, and they happily spoke English when my Spanish started failing me Bathrooms were clean too, which is always a huge plus when you're eating across the border. We were looking for some tacos before heading back home, especially since the line to cross the border was long. Hubby called a friend and he recommended this place. We didn't have enough dollars or pesos, so we went to a nearby ATM, as it's cash only. I only wanted the adobada tacos! The food here was excellent. The service was great, and they had very clean bathrooms. my Spanish isn't too good, but they had one woman there who spoke some English. You order and then eat then pay which was cool. Overall very satisfied. The only con was there's a lot of flies. But this isn't a fine dining restaurant, it's more of a taco stand with good seating and clean bathrooms. read more

I love tacos! However I don't eat just about any taco. That been said I will share my thoughts on this establishment tacos! I usually go to tacos El Gallo down the street and since they were in the process of moving across the street I came to their other location which is called El Gallito. I ordered two al pastor tacos and after I finished them I ordered one tripa taco and one suadero. The al pastor was good but I thought that the marinade was a little strong to my taste, the tripa and suadero were very good on my opinion. They have radishes, napkins, lemons and all the fixings on separate bags to your convenience. The taqueros are very friendly and courteous. Good tacos at affordable prices accompanied by great service. I fully recommend this establishment! read more

After trying the place up the street, I almost didn't come here. (The other place was great!). Glad I did. Tacos El Gallito is every bit as good. Tried a few tacos, and of course a Fanta. The salsa they make is excellent, and not so spicy that you'd regret it. Everything is prepared fresh. No trouble with language, and folks are very friendly. This in an interesting Taco Stand or should I stay "Stands". There were three stands, one with birria taco stand, one was already closed and the large one on the front of the street made adobada, asada. lengua and all the other meat tacos. I had already ordered my tacos when I saw that they had these huge chile rellenos. I wish I would have tried one of those. You can pick your protein and the tortilla you want [corn or flour]. The grilled onions are delicious and they put plenty out so you can get all you want. Their salsas were good and prices are super reasonable. Clean bathroom and drinks but no seating area. read more

Came here for a quick bite with my friend and his team yesterday night. It was my first time so it was a bit confusing. There are three different carts outside. I ordered my New York steak taco from the cart on the left and adobada tacos from the guy all the way right. I then found out that if I wanted a quesadilla or mullita then I would order that inside then take it back outside where they open it and stuff it with whatever protein you'd like. I then picked a apple cider soda and brought all my stuff up stairs to join the gang. There was probably 20 of us upstairs and still room for more. They also has a burrito with hot cheetos, carne asada fries with nacho cheese, carne asada torta, California burrito that everyone loved. After, we were done eating we walked downstairs to the cashier to tell her what we offered and pay. Food was great. Lots of locals were there too. Chill environment. read more

We stop by because it was on our way to Otay. Inside is clean, and they have several types of meat and tacos. Flavor is good, and customer service is friendly. Inside looks clean, and neat.
