I was lucky and went during the week. On the weekends this place is super busy. When I walked in the staff was super friendly! The tacos are amazing! From the hand made tortillas, the meats are fresh and cooked to order. The tacos la pastor have a "special foam" it tastes like pineapple. It's pretty good. In the past I've been to other taquerias in Rosarito. I finally found a spot that has delicious & generous portioned tacos de Al Pastor. The Carne Asada torta is delicious as well. Service can be improved. But anywho it's worth disregarding that factor. read more

They've only been open 2 months so they weren't on Yelp...until now! The tacos el pastor, pollo, and tripa were all very tasty, moist, and priced well. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Very friendly staff but they don't speak English, which isn't really a problem if you speak even the smallest amount of Spanish you can order and they are very polite to acomódate. I had two pastor tacos and an asada one, the pastor was FANTASTIC and way yummier than I expected, perfect flavor and perfect char on it. The asada was fairly bland and also had a lot of gristle in it. If the asada was better this place would have got a 5 star review for sure. read more

This is the best tacos in Rosarito. I normally have the Vampiro mulita with Arrachera meat and a tacos deal pastor. Most recently I had the baked potatoe with carne de al pastor and it was amazing. Everything you get here is delicious. My husband gets el taco Tigre. This place has a variety of tacos which makes is easy for the whole family to enjoy. Well, I guess I will be the only three-star review so far for this restaurant. It just happened to be the first taco restaurant that I saw on the main strip after getting off the highway. When I saw the autobadas loaded up on the rotisserie, I was super excited! I also ordered a skirt steak taco, just to mix things up. Unfortunately, at 1:00 p.m. on a Thursday, the rotisserie was not spinning with heat so that the meat could get all crispy and delicious. Instead, he shaved the meat off with a machete and then cooked it on the flat top grill. It was fine. All the tacos were fine. They just weren't everything that I hoped they would be. I know that I'm going to find some absolutely spectacular tacos at a different spot on this trip! read more

If your interested in placing a burrito order it does not come with beans, ask if you'd like some, same with the grilled onions. I love that this place is open 7 days a week and is open late! Weekdays they close at 4am and on weekends they don't close at all. My favorite food here is the birria tacos. I've also had the stuffed potatoes which are very filling. Check out Tacos El Chino at any time but especially for a late night meal. read more

Great new taco stop in Rosarito, they have plenty of variety tacos, just for the record, this place has hired some legendary taqueros from Tijuana so its no surprise they have awesome variety. The only taco that I didn't really liked was the carne asada, its good but its not as good as the rest of them. First of all, my bf and I were walking around Rosarito looking for the best taco joint in town. We walked by El Chino and we were welcomed by the owner I think, very friendly and charismatic guy. We walked and came back to this place just to try it at least. We were supposed to go to multiple places and just try all the tacos, but after a couple of places we decided to give this place a try and after the first tacos we had which were lengua tacos, we just decided to stay here and eat until we couldn't eat anymore. The tacos here were yummy!! lengua, carne asada, al pastor! I personally don't like al pastor very much but this place had it perfect! This will be my place to go everytime I got to Rosarito now. These are the best tacos in Rosarito (downtown area) and customer service is top notch, everyone had a smile on their face and the cooks were dancing to some good ol' 80's jams. My husband had the lengua and al pastor tacos and he said the lengua was incredible and the al pastor were delicious!
