The menu was simple and basic but offered some creative options. Prices were about average for the area, but sadly the portions were a bit off. Outdoor seating, order at the bar inside, get your own water, buss your own table and minimal service, yet tip up front at time of ordering, lol. Still had a good 1st time and was glad to see they had cornhole set up, decent gear!... Unfortunately no mini golf like Schoolhaus Brewhaus use to offer. They had a solid beer selection and variety of the most popular brews. High hopes this spot works out for them and they can revive the old Schoolhaus Brewhaus atmosphere that was loved by all of Southern Oregon.

I'm not a big drink person but this beer was hands down a favorite. Got the Spicy Rooster too which was just as good. Their house rootbeer Rogue Rootbeer was unlike anything we've tasted before. It was clearly a labor of love brought to perfection. The prawns were good and the Valley View Viognier- hands down the best wine we've ever had. We got the kids chicken and the kids grilled cheese and they had zero complaints. I'd also like to note that the fries were everything a French fry should be. Beyond crispy and the perfect width. Not too thick not too skinny. They had Jack Johnson Station playing on Spotify and it was all the right vibes. Feel good, chill, happy tunes set the night right. The atmosphere was amazing. Perfect weather, sitting under the trees lit with Edison lights. We found out this might be a temporary restaurant and we really hope that's not the case. We come to Jacksonville from around San Francisco once a year. This place will be occupying my mind and I know I'll miss it terribly. I would be really sad if it wasn't here in the future. Everyone was friendly and I can see this place really shining bright if more people knew about it. Hope this new business grows into a full blown restaurant and still uses the patio because it was such a great experience.

I ordered the smorgasbord and the crunch was perfect, it was all really flavorful, and the fries amd mac salad are amazing. We also got the burger basket, it was equally as flavorful and the bun was so soft. So much food, at such a great price, and nowhere else is the Rogue Valley will you find fried chicken like this. We have lacked a good fried option for a really long time, now we have a 5 star option. Thank you Freddy, we will be back (regularly)

Well, folks, I finally stopped at Freddie Lee's Seafood and Smorgasbord! I'm so glad I did. I met Freddie Dunbar and I asked him what everyone loves, so he made me shrimp! I got the five piece, and it came with a pile of amazingly seasoned fries and some homemade Cole slaw. He also gave me some hot sauce (it's like he knew me!) and his homemade dipping sauce. Oh man, all of it was so delicious! While nothing NEEDED to be dipped, the sauce was too good not to be used. I saw a fish sandwich on his page and it looks MOUTH WATERING. And you best believe I'm coming back to try that chicken. (As you can see I've been back for the chicken) Here's another experience of mine at Freddie's- Oh man. Freddie has spoiled me! I'll never eat at KFC again. You could seriously sell the skin off this chicken for loads of money! The flavor is amazing! The chicken was so tender and juicy, I didn't even use sauce! The coleslaw always hits the spot, but there's something about the mac salad that has me hooked. It's almost like he mixes the cooked egg yolks in. So delicious! Thanks for the fuel for the rest of the day Freddie Lee's Seafood Smorgasbord!

Fortunately, Yelp reviews convinced me to give it a shot. I went for a late dinner and wasn't sure I had the right place, as the sign was hard to see and it looked more like a dive bar than a good Asian place. I sat at the bar and had a friendly and helpful bartender. I asked him what his favorites were, and went with his suggestion by ordering the seared peppered tuna and chicken wings. I opted for a heat level of 3/5. The seared peppered tuna was excellent. It was served on a bed of mixed greens with a balsamic-style sauce. The greens are one of those confusing parts of a dish where I ask myself "is this a garnish? Do I eat this?". The sauce was so good, I didn't care what it was and devoured the whole plate. The wings were also good: a slightly dry chicken was more than madeup for by the sauce which had the right amount of heat with a hintness of sweet behind it. I'm still pretty sure that Asian Tapas isn't a thing, but after eating here, I'm also pretty sure I don't care. Great spot.

The amazing bartender/waiter was beyond welcoming and his service was on point. The regulars who sat around me, were very welcoming and explained to me about all the fantastic food there, which made picking dishes on the menu easy. At this point, I've tried quite a few things and not one of them could I find a flaw.
