Tacos were great. Good portion of meats. They have a fixing bar for unlimited toppings :)

    Big bowl of menudo

Sunday morning we decided to go get us some menudo at Don Cuco. The line wasn't bad, was able to place order within a few minutes of getting there. The menudo came out fairly soon. So the menudo was flavorful but a bit too spicy for my taste. Had to put plenty of lime juice to cut the spiciness a bit. Don't take me wrong, i do enjoy spicy food but not to the point that I am on fire, and I felt I was on fire for a few seconds while eating the menudo. I would definitely go back for some more menudo just hope next time its not too spicy. The horchata was a bit too sweet for my taste, but my daughter did really like it. The salsa bar has plenty of salas options.

My sister and I came to this place due to a strong recommendation by a friend of mine. Needless to say it was so good we came back the next day and got some more tacos. Definitely great food. Dine is was available.

If your looking for good tacos with good tasting meat, this place is for you. We saw lots of military eating here so we decided to take a chance. Ordered buche & carne asada tacos, pastor burrito & small menudo. Everything was great! They have a mini salsa bar to put your toppings. The tacos and burrito are bare with meat only. The menudo came with a buttered bread and it was delicious! It's no wonder this place was packed,

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I was actually on my way to get tacos elsewhere, when I decided to see what this place is all about. I'm actually really glad I stopped in I'll admit, my Spanish is absolutely horrible. With that said, I had plenty of questions since the only thing I recognized on their menu was "burger" and "quesadilla." I was in the mood for steak tacos and luckily one of those translated to it. I guess the tacos here could be classified as street tacos, so when you place an order for tacos, all it comes with is four tortillas with whichever meat you chose. There's a bar to the side with the other helpings: salsa, limes, onions, etc. I'm an absolute fan of this place and will be back.

The first time I went there, the staff were awesome and the food was delicious. So I took my sister there and she loves it too. My kids love their barbacoa tacos and their carne asada tacos. It was an amazing experience and this is now our newly found favorite Mexican restaurant. Highly recommend it

Beans and rice on the side are optional / modest extra charge - they are usually very good and worth adding if you're hungry enough. My favorite sauce is the Chipotle. It's got heat as it's also creamy...I would call it medium (I like spicy food.) If you're getting them to go, you might want the sauce and toppings on the side. They usually ask about that, but occasionally they might forget. Service is usually friendly and efficient even when they are busy. Your food is made to order, so it's fast but not instantaneous. Allow 5-10 minutes for pickup most of the time. The dining room is medium-sized. I would say it's a place to eat and go, not stay and linger.

We ordered the flautas with chipotle sauce and the chilaquiles with half red and half green sauce. The chilaquiles were absolutely amazing. We added a runny egg since we couldn't do chicken, and it gave the dish extra flavor and a good boost of protein. The flautas (which I'd honestly describe more as taquitos dorados) were crunchy and tasty. We liked the chipotle sauce that came with them, but we actually loved dipping them into the chilaquile sauce even more. Overall, it was a great spot to grab breakfast before hitting the road again for many more hours. Highly recommend!

The food arrived within about 10 minutes for our group of six, which was impressive. The complimentary fried tortillas were very good, and the salsa was enjoyable as well. I ordered al pastor tacos. The flavor was good, but the meat was very dry. I liked the portion size, especially the amount of meat, but it would have been excellent if it were not so dry.

We get there and wait an hour and the said "Well you didn't make a reservation, that's why it's such a long wait". I guess that's a privilege they offer some people. My daughter ordered a taco, and they messed up that order. I ordered the fajitas and they were decent, and asked for a side of sour cream and cheese--$10 up charge for a tiny portion of the condiments. Ask for a few Cherrys for my daughters dessert, they up charged $3. Clearly this establishment is resting on their laurels of their former glory days as the whole experience and food was mediocre at best. We come in from Dallas every year and plan to hit up Kiki's, Tres Gallegos, or La Morena, or Track 1 next time. Not spending another dime here.

I bumped it up to four stars for the super friendly service and the excellent aguas frescas. We got there late, about an hour before closing and they were literally trying to get rid of the aguas for free. I guess they have to dump it if they don't use it all. It was close to our hotel so we gave it a try. Portion sizes are good. The taco platter comes with six tacos! I had the flautas Chinampa which came with four beef flautas, beans, rice, and salad. I forgot, the taco platter even came with a baked potato. Prices were excellent. We had gone to McDonald's in the morning and spent more. They also cave us frijoles charros for free. Not sure if this was standard or if they were also trying to get rid of it. I would return for the service and the convenience, but if you're looking for life changing Mexican cuisine, it's not here. What you get is a good amount of decent food at a good price served by great people.
