3 Tacos Plate, Sope, Chips and Guacamole 4oz

Delicious tacos! Super friendly staff, even when you can't pronounce some of the items, they smile and try to help. Chicken was super flavorful and the portions were nice size for the cost. Chips were crunchy and tasted fresh as did the guacamole I ordered with them. Nice to be able to add both cheese and queso fresco without an up charge. Hot peppers!! So good and the sautéd onions! Definitely help to make this simple meal a step above. Highly recommended and I will be stopping by again next time I'm in town.

Service was quick and friendly! A few combos to choose from . Salsa bar available Enjoyed the tostada with chips and queso ...Toppings are fresh! Juices, water and coke products. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bright and cheery decor with a good amount of seating inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Finally able to try the new store, it is slightly different from the food truck menu. The food is still great, but the menu has more your normal items like quesadillas, tacos, and burritos. The menu is missing my favorite beef tongue, they said they moved the food truck they still served that there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is small but clean and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is fast and fantastic, can't wait to come back for more.

I've driven by Tacod Coranay many times. I drove by the location when it was a food truck behind the gas BP gas station, and never inquired. Today, I stopped at the gas station to see if the post office was still located inside the BP, and after getting into my car, I saw two women standing behind the restaurant, and bring that I was starving, I decided to hop back into my car, and go check them out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's patio seating and inside seating as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant looked clean. The tables looked clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I opted to use the kiosk and placed my order. I ordered a steak bowl, a vegetarian bowl, a quesabirria, a pineapple juice, and a bottle of water. The kiosk was a little wonky with the rice choice as it was not visible to see either options. Since I couldn't see what the rice options were, I picked one of each. My husband's vegetarian bowl had rice, and my bowl was rice free. My order was ready for pickup within 10 minutes. I had to ask for my drink. My steak bowl was good. I added the birria sauce yo my bowl, and that took it yo a different level. Guacamole would be a great addition. I shared my bowl with my son, and he liked it. The quesabirria was delicious. My husband said I can buy him food from there again, and coming from him, that's huge. There's a sauce and utensils area to grab your own sauces. There's food warmer displays with dishes and side dishes. I am glad I finally stopped by to try Tacos Coranay.

I drive past Tacos Coranay all the time otw to Indian Land, and finally stopped in out of curiosity but after one visit, I'm not sure I'd drop in again. The tacos aren't bad by any stretch (let's be honest, tacos are tacos) but they also didn't stand out in a way that makes me excited to go back. I tried: asada, pastor, and campechano... and while each had its own flavor, I didn't find a clear favorite among them. Nothing was unpleasant, but nothing really popped either. The pastor had decent seasoning, the asada was competent, and the campechano was serviceable, but overall they just blended together without a memorable moment. One detail that stood out (and not in a good way) was that all of the tacos I received were served on flour tortillas. I'm not sure if this is standard for all customers or if I just got unlucky that day, but for tacos of that style I would've expected corn tortillas by default. Overall, Tacos Coranay didn't disappoint I guess, but it also didn't exceed expectations. I appreciate that it's a convenient otw spot, but based on this visit, I haven't found anything there that makes me want to return.

I can't believe it's taken us this long to try out this food truck! The most authentic and fresh tacos I have had in the area! And fully loaded! They are generous with the amount of protein on each taco. Love the topping of grilled onions and fresh cilantro, and fresh veggies! They also give you sauce options on the side ranging from mild to spicy. Only $3 per taco!! We fed our family of 4 for $24! Food came out fast. You have the option to eat under their outdoor covered area, or takeout. We are looking forward to going back to try additional items.

Was looking for a late breakfast while running errands with my kiddo. We're not from this area and usually enjoy a good Bojangles sandwich when we're in town, but as we waited to take a turn we saw this taco truck tucked away behind the Exxon gas station. We're always up for an adventure and LOVE taco trucks. I measure taco trucks by one menu item: tacos. Kid had 3 chicken and I had an assortment. My kid was definitely a fan. He says 5 stars. I was slightly less impressed but it was still good. We paired them with Mexican Cokes and some homemade flour-based, friend chips they sell. I'd come again to try the other menu items including burritos, tostadas, tortas, and quesadillas.

The ambience was your typical hole in the wall Mexican joint with the seemingly universally common menu. I've eaten at many of these over the years with a mix of experience, mostly middling to decent. I ordered the three‑enchilada plate (two cheese, one chicken), and the food was extremely bland. Nothing about the dish stood out in terms of flavor. The one bright spot of the visit was the service -- the staff checked on us regularly and were consistently polite. However, about two hours after eating, I began feeling very nauseous. That nausea lasted for several hours and was followed by bouts of extremely unpleasant "liquid elimination" well into the next morning. I am fully confident these symptoms were the direct result of this meal. I rarely leave one‑star reviews, but an experience that ends with a night of stomach misery absolutely warrants it. I will not be returning, and I would strongly caution others to think twice before dining here.

The salsa, delicious, the hot salsa, fire, delicious fire. And the tomatillos sauce, the best I've ever had. Servers wear elbow length oven mitts when they bring plates, cautioned me while putting it down. I'm used to that with fajitas but I had enchiladas and almost everything that I saw served while there came out hot. Impressive. My food was top notch and the portions large. My server checked on me quite often and brought anything I asked for immediately. One of the managers was circulating too, speaking to every table. Again, impressive. The servers are fantastic, the food is amazing, and the lunch specials are to die for. Their lunch menu is great and has great variety (even breakfast too). For dinner the menu is also great and on weekends they usually have live music and the ambience is pretty nice. It's usually really packed on weekends and Fridays so get there early, but the wait is so worth it. P.S. here's my order recommendation, ask for the spicy salsa or salsa verde (they're free!!!) and for lunch get the Lunch Cheese Steak Burrito or the Lunch Burrito Mexicano; for dinner I usually get the Arroz con Pollo: Texas Style, but you can't really go wrong, just don't get any of the combos or numbered dishes.

They had reggaeton playing, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The vibe was casual and laid-back. We were brought warm chips and salsa right away, which was nice. Our waitress took our order, but she was pretty absent after that. It was hard to get more napkins and refills on our beer and soda. The fajitas for two were really good -- 5/5. The cilantro rice, though, was a 1/5. It was very dry and way too salty, which was disappointing. The elote (corn on the cob), which I was really excited about, was a 5/5. So good. One thing that also disappointed me was the guacamole. The menu says it's prepared tableside, which usually explains the higher price. However, that wasn't the case for us. It wasn't made at the table, so that was a little frustrating since it seemed like we were paying extra for that experience. Overall, the food was mostly great, but the customer service was lacking. It was frustrating because we could see people waiting, and we were ready to pay and leave to free up the table. It was just hard to get her attention for to-go boxes and the check, and it took a while before she came back. Maybe we'll try again at a slower time.

Consider beer next time. Our guacamole dip ($6.99) was good with their chips. I do like that they offer Toreados ($3.99), which are three grilled jalapeno peppers and some grilled onions.
