I must have gotten the wrong things to order cause what I got last evening was not the move. Apparently I should have gotten their fish dishes cause I got their carne asada tacos and it was interesting. Let's start with the tacos. They were very greasy and suuuuuper salty. I like my carne asada to be flavorful but whoever marinated the meat that day was either heavy on the salt or over marinated. I'm leaning on over marinated cause the texture of the asada was terrible. It was mushy and stringy when probably mean it marinated too long. Maybe the choice of meat was had too? It just tasted like ground beef and not flap meat like most places do it. It was the same story for the California burrito. I love a good California. Probably one of my favorite burritos to get. But Bahia was not it. Again same problem with the meat. Overly salty and meat texture was off. Ironically enough, the parts that didn't have any meat were very good. Now when it came down the service the lady behind the counter was very nice and the restaurant itself was very clean. So I do give them props for that. Maybe I'll come back and try their seafood/fish dishes since that seems to be what they are known for but if it's based of the asada, wasn't a good first impression. read more

They are known for their fish tacos, which is a wonderful deep fried fillet with a wonderful mixture of peppers and tomatoes and onions, and a cream sauce to die for.. she says the best day to get your tacos or $1.89 apiece you have a selection of drinks place is comfortable and cozy. They have specials every weekday, so it's always a good day to go! So far we've tried every special except the Monday torta at least once, as well as the various loaded fries and michelada. Their beer battered fish tacos are BOMB!! They are so delicious, the fish is lightly light and crispy, the pico de gallo, Mexican crema, salsa, and cabbage on the tacos is extremely delicious. If it is one thing I dislike the most is buying food and it not being good. Came across this place by accident and decided to give it a try since it looked very good from the pictures shown on the windows. I got a torta de asada and it was okay it had a very citrusy flavor in it that empowered the flavors of everything else. It barely had any carne asada and was filled more with beans than anything. The plate did come with fries which I didn't know when I ordered it but at least the price was decent. Maybe their specialty is more of seafood but I didn't feel like paying 4 bucks for a shrimp taco and wanted something bigger and filling. I also got an agua Fresca de mango which was okay as well, but could also have some improvement. My boyfriend got a surf and turf burrito and was not happy about it either, it only had two shrimps in his whole burrito and it was a good size too. He did not like the carne asada in it either. Took a bit of an L but at least we got to try it out I honestly wouldn't recommend it unless again maybe if you get the shrimp, fish or ceviche entres it will be better. read more
