I must have gotten the wrong things to order cause what I got last evening was not the move. Apparently I should have gotten their fish dishes cause I got their carne asada tacos and it was interesting. Let's start with the tacos. They were very greasy and suuuuuper salty. I like my carne asada to be flavorful but whoever marinated the meat that day was either heavy on the salt or over marinated. I'm leaning on over marinated cause the texture of the asada was terrible. It was mushy and stringy when probably mean it marinated too long. Maybe the choice of meat was had too? It just tasted like ground beef and not flap meat like most places do it. It was the same story for the California burrito. I love a good California. Probably one of my favorite burritos to get. But Bahia was not it. Again same problem with the meat. Overly salty and meat texture was off. Ironically enough, the parts that didn't have any meat were very good. Now when it came down the service the lady behind the counter was very nice and the restaurant itself was very clean. So I do give them props for that. Maybe I'll come back and try their seafood/fish dishes since that seems to be what they are known for but if it's based of the asada, wasn't a good first impression. read more

Tacos not that great. They don't have that authentic shrimp and fish baja taste and flavor. Fish always overcooked and shrimp is dry and flavorless. The salsa are mediocre. No flavor and just taste like tomato. Customer service could be better as well. Seems like employees don't want to be there. Smile and be more pleasant. read more

Yuck. The food went out with the old owners or something because it's been terrible. I ordered 4 fish tacos and they damn near held them hostage for 8min even after showing my receipt. They were soggy and disgusting by then. Waste of $ in my opinion read more

Writing from a food coma. Believe me when I say we love this place. We've visited twice this week and twice last week, and have brought friends who were also blown away by the quality and value. They have specials every weekday, so it's always a good day to go! So far we've tried every special except the Monday torta at least once, as well as the various loaded fries and michelada. It's all good. The fish for the Friday mojarra frita was a touch dry but $12 for that entire plate? You don't find that anywhere else! Highly recommend. Please support them! read more

They are known for their fish tacos, which is a wonderful deep fried fillet with a wonderful mixture of peppers and tomatoes and onions, and a cream sauce to die for.. she says the best day to get your tacos or $1.89 apiece you have a selection of drinks place is comfortable and cozy. Tacos That Feed the Soul This was my first time here and my first-ever review, and I'm glad it's for this spot. Tacos Bahia Fish , shrimp burritos, and ceviche de camarón were all incredible. Ruben is the reason this place stands out -- welcoming, funny, and genuinely kind. I even saw him give water to someone in need. You don't see compassion like that anymore. Friends were visiting from out of town and craving mariscos, so we tried Tacos Bahía Fish and it did not disappoint! They truly had something for everyone. We ordered micheladas, aguachiles, a chile relleno burrito, and a shrimp cocktail. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Food 10 out of 10 best fish tacos check them out on Tuesdays for the special $1.80 can't beat that but if you can't wait for Tuesday I can't blame you lol and I'm telling you it's by far the best fish tacos I have had out here in the IE. I'm going to try the whole menu a little at a time just wait and see my reviews. Service on the phone 10/10 great customer service in person as well. I work right around the corner from this restaurant. I always say I'm going to try it, but I never did. We'll I finally did today. The food is really good. I had fish tacos and French fries. They were both fire. They have a special on fish tacos on Tuesdays, $1.80. I figured for that price, they were going to be some small, cheap tacos. I HAD been going there for the last 5 years, today will be the LAST day. We ordered and the service was great, everything was normal. We got our food in a pretty quick time and leave, I live about 7 minutes away so when I sat down and took a bite and all I got was a cold fish taco....all 4 of them. My wife had GRILLED fish tacos that somehow came out cold? I ordered a side of ceviche to go with it, I pulled out 3 chunks of ice and it tasted like watery tomatoes. I will Never will go back here and I warn nobody to go here either. read more

got a "surf n turf bowl" shrimp w "carne asada" over rice and lettuce which ended up being mushy rice at the bottom it seems the lettuce made it that way and also the carne asada is not carne asada or at least i've never had carne asada like that but it has the texture of like ground beef but more chewy like when u buy cheap meat ill stick to the fish tacos those are always good here read more

Came for tacos Tuesday and have to admit it's the best place I've been to. Good quality tacos for a good price. Fish tacos were $1.50 each. Tacos were so good. Good fish and batter combo. Their beer battered fish tacos are BOMB!! They are so delicious, the fish is lightly light and crispy, the pico de gallo, Mexican crema, salsa, and cabbage on the tacos is extremely delicious. The corn tortillas are warm and doubled up so you don't get a falling apart taco. The service here is great, the woman @ the cash register always recognizes my husband and I - very friendly and warm. I would've never thought I would find the best fish tacos ever @ this random spot in Colton, CA but here they are! Seriously, so good. Great price and their fish taco thursdays or Tuesdays (I forgot which day it is) they are even cheaper!!! The reason I forgot is because they are so good I eat them everyday I don't even wait til they're discounted. I'm serious they are that good. Must try. So delicious!!!! We went late in a Monday afternoon and we were greeted by a very nice lady at the register. It appeared to be only her and the cook, and we had a nice conversation with her. We ordered the fish and shrimp tacos (we ordered both grilled and battered) and we also ordered the Bahia Fish plate. EVERYTHING was delicious! We noticed they have a 'daily specials' menu with tacos on special every Tuesday (of course). So this is definitely our new favorite spot. read more

If it is one thing I dislike the most is buying food and it not being good. Came across this place by accident and decided to give it a try since it looked very good from the pictures shown on the windows. I got a torta de asada and it was okay it had a very citrusy flavor in it that empowered the flavors of everything else. It barely had any carne asada and was filled more with beans than anything. The plate did come with fries which I didn't know when I ordered it but at least the price was decent. Maybe their specialty is more of seafood but I didn't feel like paying 4 bucks for a shrimp taco and wanted something bigger and filling. I also got an agua Fresca de mango which was okay as well, but could also have some improvement. My boyfriend got a surf and turf burrito and was not happy about it either, it only had two shrimps in his whole burrito and it was a good size too. He did not like the carne asada in it either. Took a bit of an L but at least we got to try it out I honestly wouldn't recommend it unless again maybe if you get the shrimp, fish or ceviche entres it will be better. read more

My daughter and I chose lobster tails, and my husband got two clusters of snow crab. They were out of king crab that day, but no big deal. My son, who keeps it simple, ordered fish and chips. The fish was huge, and the fries were honestly some of the best I've had in a long time. For our boil, we tried the house seasoning, which mixes garlic butter, Cajun, and lemon pepper. Once we started eating, I realized the Cajun was a little strong for me. Not bad, just a bit overpowering since I'm not a big spice person. They give you plenty of lemons and little salt‑and‑pepper containers if you want to adjust the flavor. The mussels ended up being the star for me... huge and delicious. My husband loved the mussels and scallops, and my daughter tore through the crab legs. So, me and my hubby went to this place last night to grab a bite, and let me tell you, the food was absolutely gross! The beer battered fish was all mushy and chewy, definitely not good at all. And don't even get me started on the tortilla - it was cold as if it had been sitting out for hours! I swear, it felt like they just left it on the counter. And guess what?
