Plain Shreded beef burrito no sauce.
    Gilbert M.

If you are looking for that "Hole in the wall" Mexican food, you have to try this place. Their claim to fame is Mariscos (Sea food) but even their shreade beef is bountiful. Our burritos were stiffed with meat! None of that "More tortilla than meat" jazz here. Anna the server was delightful and ready to help.

I use to come here when I was very young 15 years old to be exact. Now I'm 46 I decided to come back as we were visiting from AZ. Goodness, food is still delicious. The servers were really nice too. The music is on point. Overall it was really good to come back. Thank you! Definitely recommend this place.

    Aquachiles (not spicy) flavor okay.

It's the soup for me. The burrito was also top tier. Chicken was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Will be back to try the mariscos.

Recently discovered this restaurant about a month ago. I first time we went it was around 9pm for a late dinner. For their appetizers they bring chips and salsa, their signature soup and fried fish with onion. I ordered the ceviche with cooked shrimp.Very spicy!! Very delicious !! They also offer the shrimp cooked in lemon.

    a platter of fresh oysters

Came to celebrate my moms bday. Ordered tacos, oysters, and a cocktail. The waitress made a mistake with our oysters and brought us some cooked one with melted cheese instead of basic raw oysters. I told her we would like them switched. She just blankly stared haha she then said we can't take them back. I asked to speak to her manager and they were trying to justify the mistake. Finally they took the cooked oysters and brought us some tiny small baby oysters. The size was laughable!

    Really good michelada

Average Mexican food place, nothing special about it. Lacked seasoning. Weird cheese in the bacon wrapped shrimp. Rio Ranch's mojarras have more flavor. Asada in the burrito was good but no salsa/Chile inside.

Molcajete - has chicken, carne asada, bacon wrapped shrimp, chorizo, fried nopales, fried queso fresco. SOoO GOOD

This place was introduced to me by my father who is a picky eater. He gets the tostadas which are an amazing mound of shrimp topped with avocado. The molcajete is amazing. While you wait for your food they bring you a soup and some chicharones marinated in lemon and salt. You have to come here. It's the best new spot for us when we come visit.

Omg!!!! After reading this reviews that it's so good I went today and omg!!! Everything was so salty!!!! I went in with 3 friends and only gave us 2 forks! As u can see I'm showing u what a $14.95 place gets u almost nothing! Bad service food is awful so salty and the meat or shrimp looks like it's been there a while!! People stop reviewing places with good stars if they suck! And the restrooms oh my gah!!!! Pigs!!!! And then they have the auducity of not wanting to give u the receipt??? Yuck I paid and got out waste of money!

    "LARGE" cocktail $16

Been coming here for years but their cocktails keep getting smaller and don't taste the same - you can taste the tap water they use to make it - if you want a great Shrimp and Octopus cocktail go to Sumabi! The food here is mediocre

I visited on 3/29/26 around 2 PM for lunch with my daughter and fiancé before heading to Knott's. As I mentioned, the food itself was excellent. The issue arose when we received the bill. My fiancé ordered a burrito and requested to add chorizo, fully expecting to pay the extra charge. However, when the burrito came out, it did not include chorizo. I ordered a combination plate, which offers either two items for $22 or three items for $27. I chose the two-item option and didn't think much of it until the bill arrived. When we reviewed the bill, we noticed that instead of charging for the combination plate, they charged us for two separate full meals (taquitos and enchiladas). On top of that, they also charged us for the added chorizo that we never received. We brought up the chorizo, and they did remove that charge. However, that prompted us to take a closer look at the rest of the receipt. That's when we realized we had been overcharged for the combination plate. When I brought this to the attention of a waitress (who, I should note, was not our original server), she told me they don't have a combination plate on the menu and quickly walked away. We waited for someone to return, but no one did. Since we had already paid and had somewhere to be, we decided to leave. Afterward, I checked their website to confirm whether the combination plate was part of the regular menu or possibly a limited or brunch-only item. It is clearly listed as a regular menu item. This means the waitress gave incorrect information, and at no point did our original server mention that the combination plate was unavailable. Instead, he allowed me to order it and then charged us incorrectly. Because of this lack of honesty and transparency, I'm giving this place a 2-star rating. I strongly encourage anyone dining here to double-check their receipt, as after reading other reviews, this seems to be an ongoing issue at this location.

It was kind of fast and came to see how we were doing every few minutes. The bad experience starts with the food, first of all the price is very expensive compared to the quality of the food, about $30 for two tacos not mention that one taco had only four little shrimps, my wife got the flautas and as soon as she got them, we noticed there were mosquitoes on the food so we returned the plate We ended up eating at a different time because of this problem we still got charged for it, nothing special on the Michelada, which is 18 bucks for only one beer and clamato At the end, we order a dessert of fried ice cream and unfortunately, another bad thing with this food a pubic hair at the bottom of the fried ice cream. It was very nasty. I decided not to complain anymore, but instead to leave a review, this is the first and last time that I'm coming to this place Another thing to point out is the bathroom is in a horrible condition, they don't take the trash out once the bin is full so there's many things that they really have to work on

I ordered the Cali Burrito with no sour cream and light guacamole and I wasn't super hungry, but it hit just right! Mmmmm. The chips were fresh and just the right amount of salty but the salsa was just a little too spicy for me - but my friend loved it and he likes it spicy. The only downside was there was a party happening in another room and apparently due to that, our food took forever to get out. The two small groups that got seated ahead of us had gotten theirs and we waited for a long time. My friend almost just wanted to leave. So maybe next time, find a way to still be able to serve small groups on sync rather than making them wait extra time if possible. But I'd be back for sure. Oh, the mango margarita was not it. It tasted premade and plain. Another table left a full margarita as well so this worried me that this may be something normal? And there is no return on alcohol so we finished most of it because of this and didn't want to waste that money.

After a long week and zero desire to cook on a Friday night, I finally decided to give it a try. When I pulled up, the line was surprisingly short, which felt like a good sign. The order window is right out front, and the menu is simple and familiar: tacos, burritos, sopes, tortas, quesabirria. I ordered a little bit of almost everything: asada street tacos, a bean and cheese burrito, beans and rice, an asada mulita, an al pastor sope, and a quesabirria. Prices were reasonable, and I spent under $50 for the whole spread. Food came out in about 15 minutes and was packed neatly. The disappointment started once I got home. There was no salsa in the bags, which already put us at a disadvantage. Only then did I realize there's apparently a salsa bar inside along with a small seating area, something you don't see from the front order window. Had I known that, I would've grabbed what we needed before leaving. Then we opened the tacos and realized they came completely plain... no onion, no cilantro, nothing. Just tortillas and meat. Not exactly what I expected. Visually, everything else looked fine, so I was hoping the flavor would make up for it... but it didn't. Everything tasted bland, like the seasoning took the night off. The only thing I halfway enjoyed was the beans and rice, and my family felt the same way. Maybe my expectations were too high based on the crowds I always see, but everything tasted like tortillas, meat, and cheese... and not much else. I'll give them credit for fair pricing and quick service, but that's about it. I really wish the cashier had mentioned that the tacos come plain or pointed me toward the salsa setup. Overall, not the experience I expected, and not one I'd rush back for.
