Parch margarita

Tacos were fine. Guac was delicious! A great selection of non alcoholic margaritas that I really appreciated being pregnant. Beautiful view of the beach. Service is a little spotty but I only ordered via the pool.

The dining room was fully reserved so we were seated in the bar at a high table. The wind gusts in from the ocean, so bring a hair tie. MG took a video because her long, wildly curly hair was tossed about while we ate. Service was good, Sarah & Hector were friendly, prompt, and accommodating. Margaritas are good and MG enjoyed the El Viejo (a bit spicy) while I had a margarita. The Camarones de Coco (coconut shrimp) was delicious but my Tuna Tostado set my mouth on fire and I changed my order to the shrimp. The shrimp are huge, light tempura batter and coconut covered in a delicious sauce. I was too hungry to snap a photo! We ended up eating here twice because it is close to the Condado Ocean Club but in a nicer hotel. Food, service, atmosphere, drinks were all top notch!

We had a good dinner at Tacos and Tequila! The online reviews are a bit mixed... we thought it was pretty good. Our waitress was decent, although she did disappear at times (it wasn't crowded, we could see the few tables she was serving). The prices are expensive for the value here, $20+ for cocktails... when you add the island's 17.5% taxes at restaurants, a $200 tab happens quickly. (PS the suggested tips are based on the inflated "after taxes" bill amount... watch out for that!). The octopus ceviche was decent, a bit fishy (pretty common in PR for seafood). The chips served with it were good. We had the seared tuna in green mole next... that was better! The gastro star of the nice was our last dish, the chicken tinga tacos. We agreed we should have started there! LOL Tacos and Tequila is located in a posh hotel, worth the visit to walk around. A good meal, we recommend it...

Elotes

Located inside our hotel with a beautiful view of the ocean and an open air concept did not disappoint. We started our experience with fresh, crunchy tortilla rounds and excellent guacamole. The Elotes Street corn Was the best I've ever tasted, perfectly balanced flavors. You really can't go wrong with any choices of tacos That are on the menu,Everything was perfectly seasoned and a good size portion.you can get either two or three tacos we found two were be plenty.the camarones de coco (coconut Shrimp) Was better than anything you'll be eating at your local pub anytime soon.four Jumbo shrimp Fried in a coconut tempura batter with sweet soy and cilantro Was probably the best bite of the night. finished off with cinnamon churro, swirls that we dipped into a hot Mexican chocolate, perfecto! Friendly service, and good price point. located inside the Condado Vanderbilt, You don't have to be a guest of the hotel to dine here.that being said, I would recommend giving it a try if you were out on the town on Ashford Avenue in San Juan.

Good place with nice ocean views. We ordered tacos and coconut drink and spicy margarita, both very tasty. Make sure to make reservations as it gets busy sometimes.

Chicken tasted like Costco 5 dollars rotasiratie chicken. For a high end hotel like the Vanderbilt I expect better smh.

Elote was best thing we got on menu. Service was fricken horrible the resturant was empty and it took 40 minutes to get our food. I tip 20 percent or more like usual, but personally I can make tacos that taste 10x better do not recommend to anyone at all

Great find with a perfect view. A little slow to get our drinks out but food came quickly. We ordered the guac and shishito peppers both which were great. Tacos came in either sets of 2 or 3. Super tasty- no complaints at our table. Ask for their hot sauce. Seems homemade and very yummy. They are located on the backside of the hotel. We took the path to the right after eating and came upon the public beach where we got some sun after!

Food is mediocre. Service was super slow. And it was $300 for 5 of us. Chilaquiles had no red sauce! It was just bad nachos.

Great food. Limited menu but everything looks great. Service was great. Recommend eating outside for the view and cool breeze.

The drinks were crafted beautifully and the bartenders were super friendly and gave us great local suggestions as well. Highly recommend stopping by for a few drinks here.

AMBIANCE: Parking: Welcome to Old San Juan, it get get pretty busy - best to carpool or do public transportation. Seating: Indoor seating or private cabana set ups for groups. Room for a total of 100 people. Feels: Welcome to Old San Juan, a mix of touristy and culture. The spot itself is popular for locals and tourists. As for the space itself, what's unique about this spot is this place isn't just one bar. It's actually a series of connected rooms (about 6-7 different spaces), each with its own vibe - speak easy, dance, casual, house, live music and more! I'm surprised each room can contain it's sounds while maintaining its own energy. It feels like a speakeasy maze meets nightlife experience. Dim lighting, vintage touches, and just enough chaos in a good way. DRINKS/EXPERIENCE It was such a fun night, not sure what I ordered but there is an abundance of flavors as every room has different selections. But popular drinks if you're looking for guidance - lavendar mule, espresso martini, a classic mojito. They got the classic to your well-crafted cocktails. Some spots provide food while others is sip and chill or sip and dance. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Fast-paced but solid. Staff keeps up with the crowd and still manages to be engaging. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars! Good choices, reasonable prices, and a vibe like no other. As a gemini that can be quite indecisive, I enjoyed this spot - especially with its multiple options. This is more than a bar - it's an experience. A spot where the night can go longer than expected. TIPS: * Walk through ALL the rooms--you'll miss half the experience if you don't
