We can never decide on what to cook at home, but when we go out, we often get the same thing. Both tacos were really good. We agree they are far better than any tacos we get in full service Mexican restaurants. They have lots of different flavors and textures. We first learned about this place from a Yelp event. I am so glad Yelp introduced us to Tacos 4 Life. We might never have tried it otherwise. We were introduced to this place at a Yelp event a while back and have been meaning to return ever since. We were in the neighborhood after shopping at Costco so we decided to go. Glad we did. What a great place! We really enjoyed our time eating here. The food was super good. I especially like their rice bowls. Also, they had really good service! All of the employees there were so kind and helpful. And, the inside was super clean! Bathrooms were clean too. I would also like to add that the staff there gave us a free side of chicken. We went to the one in Bixby, OK. Ayanna (the girl who took our order) was very friendly and sweet. The food was delicious. I ordered a Hawaiian shrimp taco and a mango chicken taco. Both were so yummy. Also had their cheese dip. We loved all of it. Definitely go back. read more

My dad and I got takeout from here for the first time. I got the chicken quesadilla and my dad got the half order of their nachos with beef. The half order of nachos was more than enough for his dinner and my chicken quesadilla was really good. It was a little greasy, but the flavor of the chicken and the size of the quesadilla was large. It was a great price for the amount of food and the food was very fresh and very tasty. The only thing I was not a fan of was the cheesy rice it was not for me. When I was there, I saw all the tacos they were making. They looked huge and really good and now I cannot wait to go back and try some tacos. They donate a meal every time you buy a meal and I love that and this is definitely a place I look forward to going back to. The restaurant was a good size but they had a big group come in right before me so I did have to wait 20 minutes for my To Go order but the guy let me know they were running behind because of the large group that came in. Main issue was the service. It was poor in the drive-through. Angelina didn't explain that salsa was an up-charge, then proceeded to charge us for 4 of them when I just asked for some salsa. Then after I had a chance to review the receipt and discover the discrepancy, she opened the window and gave me my food while saying, "have a nice day." I said , "thank you. Also, I have a question." But she shut the window and didn't come back. She also spoke over me while talking to the drive through when I was paying. It just wasn't customer oriented and I won't come back for this reason. The beef taco was bland. Wouldn't recommend it. The chipotle chicken taco was great. I would recommend that one. The burrito bowl tasted fine but was not very hot. Saving grace to this place was the clean appearance on the outside and that it appeared well maintained. That being said, they put the salsa containers inside the container on top of the food which I found unsanitary. Won't be back because there are better places to eat but the place is worth trying and deciding for yourself. Could have been just one bad experience for me. read more

This was my second time eating at this establishment thinking it will get better. It doesn't. Queso is never hot, always lukewarm warm (maybe that's how it's always served). This place is like the Chick-fil-A of taco restaurants... the food is such high quality, and the morale behind the restaurant giving food to underprivileged kids in other countries is really beautiful. The restaurant is always clean, and we took our puppy there tonight to be greeted by the friendliest staff who brought her water and even a cup of chicken for her to eat while we enjoyed our meal. I ordered on line a 2 Taco combo. Chicken Fajita was ok, the Baja Fish taco was a piece of fish on top of shredded lettuce; no tortilla. Paid extra for onions and there were no onions. Called store. Manager Jose's answer was either come back and pick one up - Memorial is under construction and traffic a nightmare, or the next time I go to Tacos 4 Life I have to go in and order and tell the cashier Jose said to give me a Baja Fish Taco free. Jose-it's not free I paid for it already. Good customer service would be to credit me my lunch or at least the $6 plus for the Baja Fish. I guess I'm out the money since I don't ever plan to go back to that store. I will not deal with places of business who do not take responsibility for mistakes. Update: The owner Knox Huffman of the Tulsa Taco4Life called me. Changed my review from 1 to 4 stars. He apologized for my order being mixed up, took full responsibility and refunded my order. I enjoyed my visit here. It seem to move quickly enough through the line but did take a while to get my taco once I was seated. I've tried four different kinds now some I didn't care for and some I loved so I think it just depends on finding the one you like! I did try eating these on the fly in the car, which is very difficult and I don't recommend. Half of the taco comes out of it shell so order a fork and extra napkins. I love tacos for life! It's one of my places I like to eat at when I'm in town. I thought I had already reviewed this place before so sorry for the lack of pics! I usually order the tofu tacos which are delicious! They perfectly blackened and cooked thoroughly which I feel like some places in Tulsa aren't really sure how to cook vegan "meats." I've also ordered the coconut shrimp taco before as well and that one is so so good! They have pineapple in the taco which gives it a delicious flavor profile. The nachos however were a bit underwhelming but still yummy. It was super busy when we came in but the line moved along at an okay pace. I mean, everybody is still getting used to operating and it's to be expected to be slightly slower when everyone is still new. When we did order the lady at the register was super friendly. We also noticed they had a door greeter at either entrance/exit to help direct traffic. The side door was NOT being used to let people enter. It made sense as the front door had a line that went from the registers to the sidewalk outside. So, cool vibe, good food and it supports feeding hungry children. Very impressive! I ordered the Korean taco and the chicken fajita taco. Both were made with fresh ingredients and were a nice portion size! They were delicious! Chips and salsa as a side...enough for leftovers!!! I also ordered a chicken fajita salad for lunch the next day. The flavors were delicious and a half order was just enough to satisfy my appetite!! I used the drive thru because was by myself. Don was extremely accommodating and patient as I perused the menu and made my choices! No way this place should have more than 2 stars. The tortillas are cold. The Mexican style Street corn is just canned cream corn with spices. The food is offensively bad and I think taco bell has more flavor. $30 for 3 tacos 3 drinks and a side of corn, there's no way I'll be back. read more
