Unique take on tacos, the place is nice and clean and laid out well, you order your food at the counter either by à la cart or full meals pay, and then they bring it to your table. My brother recommend this spot after a previous visit. I must say on this first trip, it was quite good. I had the grilled chicken taco and it was different but good. The taco shell is really what makes it; it's almost a puffy taco but not quite. The ingredients were fresh and tasty as well. My family had an excellent experience at Tacos 4 Life! We ordered almost every taco on the menu and each one was truly excellent. We order to go, and while it took a while to get everything out, it was totally worth the wait. I was worried that the tacos would be exploded all over the place in the boxes once we got home but everything was nice and tight. In our travels, we've passed this chain a few times and never paid it much mind. Figured it was like the plethora of other bland taco chains that dot every highway... WRONG. Think taco truck, but brick and mortar. As soon as I spied the Drive-Thru menu, my eyes like up like it's almost Christmas (and it is!)... They zoomed right in on the Korean BBQ steak taco meal and then, I saw Honey Limeade (with just three ingredients) to drink! Bonus! The meal comes with a side and I chose black beans. The tacos were hearty, meaty and with a lush, spicy Korean sauce. Topped with cabbage, wonton crisps and an additional creamy sauce. Tasty and satisfying flavor profile. I was happily full after the two tacos, so the beans will be a great snack a little further down the highway. Will definitely have to explore the menu further next trip (mango habanero!). It's a little pricier than I would have expected ($10.99 for two tacos and a small side of beans).... But check this out.. For every meal you buy, one is donated to a hungry child. Best taco experience EVER!!! Not your typical taco shop. Such creative combinations and variety. We tried three off the regular and summer menu. 1) Korean Beef - sweet and spicy on a soft tortilla with fried wontons 2) Chicken Salsa - flavorful, light and in a Gordita style tortilla 3). Summer Sausage - on a soft flour tortilla. All absolutely fantastic! But we decided we needed to choose favorites. My favorite was the Summer Sausage because it was spicy and packed with flavor. Lots of meat and a fruit salsa topped it off. My husbands favorite was the Korean Beef - he just really likes the sauce, Beef and cabbage combination. The restaurant and washrooms were clean, and I always appreciate being able to see the entire kitchen. The staff was extremely friendly as well. Lastly I want to bring up the cause behind the format - millennials in general are changing the dynamic of how people eat. I'm not really a taco guy, but this place was close and had good reviews. I was pleasantly surprised in the overall friendliness of the staff. Everyone seemed in a good mood and smiled. Three different people asked me about the meal and if I was happy with it. I've always believed that a smile and good attitude is what customer service is really all about. It doesn't cost you anything to be friendly. I had the nachos with chicken with was very good. Perhaps a bit pricey, but good. I love the idea of a portion of proceeds going to feed the less fortunate. Food was alright, it was a bit expensive though. Seemed clean, except one girl in the kitchen kept wiping her nose on her plastic glove, and they were all teenagers goofing around and yelling. That's half the reason it's so loud, but the radio is on too loud too. Queso was interesting and good, but the guacamole tasted fermented and salsa wasn't flavorful. Seared tofu tacos were good with lime squeezed on them, but tasteless without. Eggplant pesto tacos good without the tomatoes they had in them, but really garlicky. Cheryl greeted us first timers at the front while we listened to the Christian music playing in the background....not a long lime for a lunch time stop in route from Virginia to Texas.. Elija was super helpful and oh so kind!!! We sat outside so we could watch our doggos while we ate. We are on a cross country military trip from DC to Texas. We both ordered the Mahi Mahi blackened tacos. They were so good. Great tortillas, great sauce and fresh crisp veggies! I had the creamed corn as a side and hubby had the black beans! The place was super clean and Cheryl and Elijia were very nice. I walked back in to look for the bathroom and Elijia said "can I help you?" So attentive. He also brought us some napkins after I said I would go get them. As we were leaving he was cleaning tables and diligently wiping the napkin holders in the booths... manager, if you're reading! He's a good one! I went and asked him his name for this review! We will be back if we are ever in this neck of the woods again! I love Tacos4Life. The tacos are delicious, the business is local, and you are supporting a very good charity, a one for one for hungry children. However, if you have never been here and you think this is going to be like a regular Mexican restaurant, it's not. You order at a counter and they bring it to your table. You have to pay for chips and salsa, just like at Chipotle. Don't expect cheap tacos and burritos...this is fresh, quality food, plated nicely yet still casual. The tacos are about $3-$4 each. If you want 79¢ tacos, take yourself to a fast food chain. If you're a cheap ass, don't get on here and complain about how "expensive" it is when you're a grown adult and can see prices and should be able to do basic addition. I will eat here regularly and am glad to have it in town when so many of the places in Benton and Bryant are chain restaurant hell. The star I deducted is because the parking lot is too small and the building isn't big enough to hold a lunch crowd, and they line up out the door, which while that is a testament to scrumptious eats, it's not exactly ideal because no one wants to wait outside. They know they're popular now...they need to build a little bigger. I also do not like that it's literally feet away from a truck stop...the location is pretty terrible. read more

I love Tacos 4 Life, I eat there at least once a week. I usually have the steak chipotle tacos they are my favorite thing on T4L menu. The tacos I had today were not up to the standards I see at the other locations. Grease was running out of the tacos, i have seen this with the ground beef but never the steak, yet another reason to avoid Saline county. Explains why there's only 15 vehicles in the parking lot at 12:00 on a Tuesday afternoon. The only saving grace was the young lady at the register. Allergen friendly!!! I have a dairy and nut allergy and they had specific buttons on the register for both. I was not sure if the tofu had dairy in it and it the lady at the register, Mandy, asked someone in the back if it was safe for me to eat because she wasn't certain. They also have allergy menus available. Best of all, the food was actually tasty. I got tofu tacos and they were well seasoned and had balanced flavors. I walked over from the Pilot and tried out Tacos 4 Life. They just introduced burritos the day before,so I had one. It was very good. I was particularly happy with the sauce that smothered the burrito. Very good. The staff was excellent, the place was clean and well decorated. Some may think it was a bit expensive, but I really don't look at prices. I did not like that the food was delivered on a brownie pan. Everyone needs to be unique, and this is their attempt. I didn't like it, but it didn't bother me too much. Overall very nice, and a good idea for truck drivers looking for something different. read more
