I ate here while out of town with some friends. Im originally from STL, MO but frequent Little Rock for work. In this area of Arkansas, only some restaurants serve liquor- some only serve beer, some serve a full bar, and some don't serve any alcohol at all. The first Mexican place we went to was completely liquor free and they directed us here. The place was busy on a Saturday night but the servers and owner was very attentive. When you first walk in, you walk past the cooks to the left and can see them preparing the meals while they wave and say hola!Then you veer to the right into the main dining area. In the far back, there is a separate room that has TVs and a full bar. The food and pricing is comparable to most chain Mexican restaurants. The highlight of the place was that every single worker there went out of their way to introduce themselves and made us feel like we were regulars. read more

I placed an order through Grub Hub. $51.38. The order included combo D. They gave my a B. And NO salsa when i ordered EXTRA. When i arrived he gave me slack for not bringing the food back. It was wrong, he admitted it-you cant resell it. Not my fault. And I had called before driving the 10 minutes and still had to wait bc he did not prepare it so it would be ready. I brought my 13 year old picky-eater/cheesedip fan here for dinner, and we were NOT disappointed. We were promptly greeted with a basket of chips and salsa, and a friendly waiter. Our order was taken quickly, and the cheese dip delivered within minutes. About that 'dip: it was a smooth, white cheese with a mild spice. I even braved the wrath of my lactose intolerance for a few chipfulls. Teenager loved it. She, being a habitual vegetarian with frequent lapses into carnivorism, ordered the vegetarian "B" plate, consisting of two bean burritos covered in....cheese dip. Needless to say, she loved it. I, being of a more uh, mature palate, ordered the tacos al pastor. This brought me a plate heaped with two alien pods of foil, which, upon further inspection, contained two tacos each full of spicy shredded pork and pineapples. Served with the space tacos was a small dish of extremely hot (spicy) sauce of unknown constitution. There was also a dish containing chopped onions and cilantro, and a wedge of lime. This food was sooooo good, ya'll. OMG. Order it. And then get upset because your stomach won't hold all of the delicious pork, amd then get happy again when you remember that it's 2013 and we have refrigerators and can take food home to eat later when we get hungry after our post-new-year-guilt workout at 11 p.m. No regrets. read more

Love the food and most of the time the ambiance is good. Love the new updates booths are nice! But my visit tonight my friend and I were encountered with other customers that thought they had to use the f bomb every other word and loudly! This is very offending and I would expect any decent establishment the employees (manager) would say something to the offending customers. I called the restaurant and all they said was no ma'am no one here. Whatever that means! Very disappointing!!!! Selling beer is more important than keeping decent customers! Wow, this place rocks. I ordered two tamales Al a carte, one with cheese sauce and one with the traditional red sauce. Each one was $2.50. I'm not from the area and was expecting a small tamale like the ones up north. Not the case. Each one was a meal. They were also the best I've ever had. Since I had never had one with cheese sauce, it was my favorite. The place was moderately busy, but the service was great. I definitely will visit again before I leave the area. I have been to this res truant for 10 years and NEVER have I had such poor service and taken by the manager. Two of my friends and I sat at the bar to have one beer each while we order food TO GO. Customers came and went plus got their food and there we sat. We all finished our beer and still no food. I abla espanol and told the manager how we never got our food, poor services and I had been a customer for 10 years. He told me in espanol to leave and he wouldn't be talked to that way. I said "Si Senior" and literally left crying. Most AMERICAN restaurant's would try to make things right so you would return. Please understand I never cursed the man... just muy malo in dias anos!!!!! I did NOT receive any food nor anything. I sure hope he enjoys Obama too take care of him and his familia.
