I had the vegan kraut dog, and it was delicious! The flavors were spot on. And the French fries!!!! Absolutely perfect, crispy and just right. Definitely a place I'm coming back to!

I loved all the weenie decor and hot dog paraphernalia. They had a bunch of hot dog merchandise as well. I ended up buying a hot dog butterfly knife! The staff were welcoming and very friendly. Service was quick as well! We absolutely loved everything we ordered. For sides we ordered the Fries, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Fried Vidalia Onion Rings. The seasoned Fries were fantastic. The batter they put on the onion rings and fried green tomatoes is heavenly. You dip this fried goodness in a rich and scrumptious housemade remoulade. For my weenie I ordered the Flamin Frank Chili Dog. My hotdog was topped with chili, cheese, salsa, jalapeños, and mustard. It was tasty and messy, but definitely worth the 10 napkins I used! I recommend using a spoon or fork to finish up this delicious dog. I also ordered the Hand-dipped Corndog. It was fried to perfection like the fries, onion rings, and fried green tomatoes. The batter created a crispy, golden brown exterior. It was crunchy on the outside, yet soft and slightly cakey on the inside. It was a perfect corndog. Sadly we were only visiting Nashville, but if I ever come back, I'll definitely return to I Dream of Weenie!

Da Grub: While picking out a treat, the dude talks me into his quiche; several to choose from but went classic w/ the Spinach & Mushroom. We had it the next morning, and it was fantastic. I'm a crust snob when it comes to any kinda pie and went right for a back corner hunk: super flakey goodness! The filling was nicely balanced, moist and delicate texture, seasoned perfectly. Served it nestled next to a smoked pork chop and apple chutney. WIN Da Service: The guy (owner?) even cares to ask how & when we planned to eat the quiche, oven or micro, sliced or whole, to day or tomorrow, etc. then wrote instructions on the lid. Niiiice, we'll be seeking him out, Orinda is closer to us, maybe we'll run into him there, definitely check him out! I wonder if he does a Sweet Potato Pie?

I get one just about every Saturday morning at Richland Farmers Market - it's my weekly treat. If I have a sweet tooth that morning I'll also indulge in a banana cream or chocolate brownie treat, and my goodness those are beyond delicious as well. His quiches are spectacular too. Just all in all fantastic business and he is a wonderful man. One of my favorite vendors - ever. Go visit him at Richland Park on Saturday from 9-12 in the red/yellow truck!! You will not be disappointed.
