ALWYAS check expiration dates - many things on the shelf are expired or close to it Plus, Kroger "digital deals" rarely work and if you point it out at check out; it is met with rolling eyes and a heavy sigh from a Kroger employee. I have only caught a few items - but they makes me question the entire process. The baggers are the WORST. What is the point of having one item per bag? Really? And if you bring your own, to save the ocean and earth, be prepared for your bread in the bottom and crushed by your cans. Avocados were unrecognizable after being in the bottom of the bag. It's worth paying more somewhere else for the sake of being able to actually eat the food you bought. I brought my aunt shopping there a few weeks ago, she got tired walking the entire store - can't use the app mid store to find anything with no cell service . As I parked her at the end of an aisle she was greeted by a mouse!!!! When I said something to an employee - they were very nonchalant. . I left a full cart mid aisle and shopped elsewhere. I am a patient person and do not expect perfection from a grocery BUT when I called to see what a manager would even say to my concerns, I was on hold for over twenty minutes - no manager. Why is Trader Joe's able to hire friendly staff, staff their stores with helpful employees and offer lower prices? I'll drive 45 minutes to get decent food at a fair price - bye bye Kroger. I'm so happy I ran across this place, the owners and gentleman running the store are super friendly and helpful.
