    Burrito roco

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had, went two days in a row while I was in Buellton. Will drive back here just to come to this Mexican restaurant. Also got the crispy taco and cheese enchilada plate. Both dishes were phenomenal, just an FYI their salsas are very spicy, even if they say mild.

    Steak Nachos Supreme

If I could give 0 stars I would. Today I went to buy 3 orders of nachos supreme, and it looks like they sent me soup. There was no chips and plate was destroyed from the bottom from all 3 plates. I don't know why they don't use resistant plates they used cardboard plates and my food went through the plates as you can see in the image. I'm very disappointed I won't come back

Please give the two young ladies a raise, that might improve their attitudes. If not, they should consider another line of work. The food was ok the restaurant itself is dark and dingy. Brighten up the place and freshen up the service and you might get more favorable reviews. But do you really care?

    Huge grande burrito

The gigante burrito was huge however the flavor was bland. I didn't taste a lot of guacamole and the salsas were not very good. I gave it three stars because of the size of the burrito, but the flavor is lacking. Mediocre but not terrible.

So many Mexican food options in the area, but Taco Roco is still so good! I prefer this spot for lunch versus dinner, as the ambiance isn't a "nice sit down meal" kinda vibe. The location is great, though. I like to sit on their patio. You order at the counter and then food is brought out to you to eat. They have really good, discounted specials on certain days of the week also. Their burritos are bomb and I recently tried their tacos, which are delicious too. Their salsa bar has a lot of options and you can get as much as you want. Their staff are super friendly. Definitely try this spot if you're in the area!

Food is pretty good and the prices are alright. The cashier is rude and unfriendly. Not sure if I'll be back because of her.

5 outta 5! Al pastor is gas. The xangos really do melt in your mouth. Taco roco is the place to be for taco Tuesday or any day.

Food was good. Very friendly employees and helpful. It was a bit warm as we ate inside but fountain drink helped this out.

The portions are HUGE. My husband and I usually share one order and we both leave completely full, which helps balance out the higher price point. Their margaritas are also really good and pair perfectly with the meal. The restaurant has a warm family-owned atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Even though I haven't explored much of the menu, the consistency keeps me coming back. If you love fajitas, this place is definitely worth trying.

All the presentations were really nice. Unfortunately, there were concerns with the taste. The tacos looked good but they did not have much taste. The salad looked alright but they used iceberg lettuce and it did not taste good. Also the meat in the salad was not great either. It left quite a bad aftertaste. Also, I'm not sure if this was from the food, but my dad did not feel good the rest of the day. Also with service, it seemed like we were sitting farther away from a larger group of people so the servers tended to stick towards that side. We had a request for one of the servers but it took quite a long time for them to come over and check on us. I hope this restaurant will try their dishes again and make sure the taste is good before serving and come check up on their customers more often. Also, they need a few more waiters.

It's easy to get distracted walking in a touristy area, so you'll miss it if not paying attention! The restaurant itself is small, but there's indoor seating and a few tables outside. Luckily on our visit the restaurant wasn't too busy. I decided to order chicken enchiladas. The prices here are very reasonable for what you get. The enchiladas were delicious! My son ordered the cheese pupusas, which I was able to try and they were perfect. I would definitely order those myself. My cousins enjoyed their meals as well. Our food was prepared and served in a timely manner. I was surprised how fast we were served, yet the food was satisfactory. Overall, a great little spot to satisfy your Mexican food needs. Especially if you're wanting a comfort meal after all the pastries you've eaten ha!

The fish was a huge portion -- a whole filet with a delicious spicy sauce, perfectly cooked and flaky. The rice and beans are always great, perfectly seasoned and cooked. I also had a passionfruit margarita which was big and well balanced. The salsa bar is very good; the habanero salsa is really tasty but their old version without cream was one of the best salsa I ever had and I'm so sad they don't offer it anymore. It was legitimately spicy. I always love coming here with my friends after a movie so we can discuss the flick over some great mexican food.
