Chose this as their taco selection sounded quirky and indeed they all are, although many had one or two ingredients that we usually wouldn't care for, but if you are adventurous with flavors, this is right up your alley. The Nashville Hot Chicken taco was interesting overall but confusing in its competing flavor profiles. Not a dislike necessarily but odd. The Loaded Nachos with picadillo and gochujang queso were amazing though and big enough to share for the table. The churro donut holes with chocolate sauce remjnded us of the cookie dough flautas of Tijuana Flats down in Orlando, so yeah they were good too. Shout out to the friendly bartender! Buckle your seatbelts and get ready for a roller coaster ride of flavors. We started off with the onion rings and gochujang queso. The queso was AMAZING! The onion rings were good, and the chimi-ranch and harissa ketchup were very good. We tried an assortment of tacos and have narrowed it down to our favorites which were the buffalo chicken, pig and the fig and the Seoul sister. The favorites came about because we thought they were the most flavorful and had the best balance of flavors. The food is freshly prepared and they make their own corn tortillas fresh which is hard to find these days and it makes all the difference. I came with friends and we ordered the avocado taco, cauliflower taco, jackfruit taco, chicken tikka, carne and the thai shrimp taco. Tried this on a whim looking for some lunch- on the most amazing taco fusion I've had outside of the Twin Cities. We ordered the chicken tikka taco, which had phenomenal flavors with some pickled onion on top, and the green chili pork taco where the cilantro-lime corn tortilla really made the taco pop. The #6 carne asada chimichurri steak taco was cooked absolutely perfectly. Two margaritas on the rocks really made the meal. Hand-formed pepperjack chive tots provided a flavorful compliment to some excellent fusion tacos. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a barbecue joint with the overly loud country music and rolls of paper towels on the tables. When we arrived for a Saturday lunch, tables were full with a very wide variety of humans and the staff was super welcoming and inviting to everyone. We started with the gochujang queso and chips. We were pleasantly surprised that the queso was deliciously creamy and just a bit spicy, enough to give that extra little kick. I got the Mediterranean steak and fattoush taco, the buffalo chicken taco, and the lobster and avocado taco. Each one was unique and fun and brought a playful vibe to something that can sometimes be a little "plain Jane." The steak and chicken tacos were slightly spicy but not overly so and the lobster taco brought the perfect amount of cooling to round out the meal. My sister got the steak, Nashville hot chicken, and the chile red snapper and said all of them were amazing. Overall, we would be sure to make this a must-eat while on town! read more

Stopped on a whim because the menu sounded interesting. Gojughang queso was SO good - very spicy, but delicious. I got the carne asada taco and the green chili pork taco. Both were phenomenal. Hubby got the red snapper and the shrimp. Both of his were delicious. His only complaint was the snapper was a little dry. Checked out this place on a while because I was craving Mexican and this was one of the few places open at 10:30 at night. What an incredibly pleasant surprise when I walked in, and realized that the whole menu is a VAST variety of tacos for one to order a la carte. I had 3, the PBJ Burger Taco, the Lobster Salad Taco and the Crunchy Avocado Taco. All three were reasonably priced (for a tourist town like Pigeon Forge, at any rate), and tasted SPECTACULAR. Craving some tequila, I also ate at the bar, and the bar staff was very friendly, and mixed me one of the best Tequila Sunrises (a personal favorite of mine) I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. Let me just start by saying: I am 100% planning a trip back to Pigeon Forge *just so I can eat here again.* Forget Dollywood, forget the mountains--Taco Ranch is now the main attraction. I went two days in a row and I'm still dreaming about the food like it was a long-lost love. First, the staff. I met one of the chefs and one of the managers (didn't catch their names, but trust me--if you meet them, you'll want to invite them to your Christmas party). They were friendly, fun, and genuinely cared about our experience. If I lived in Pigeon Forge, I'd want to hang out with these people outside of the restaurant. And then there's Kenzie (technically Mackenzie, but she's cool enough to shorten it). She was behind the bar making drinks that deserve their own spot in the Hall of Fame. I don't know what magic she's mixing back there, but I'd happily buy a ticket just to sit at her bar, sip her cocktails, and listen to her jokes. Her humor is worth the price of admission, and the drinks? Absolute perfection. Now the food. Holy guacamole. I had the fried avocado taco (life-changing), the lobster taco (I still hear angels sing when I think about it), and my daughter had the carne asada taco which she said was one of the best she's ever had. We also had the street corn, and when I mentioned I'd recently had dental surgery, they cut it off the cob for me--because apparently, in addition to being culinary geniuses, they're also thoughtful angels. Taco Ranch isn't just a restaurant. It's a spiritual experience. It's the reason I'll be back in Pigeon Forge sooner than planned. Honestly, it's "gourmet" tacos but they are average. I just wanted a legit taco from Central America, not a fusion with Korean or Mediterranean or Indian flavors. This is a great option in the area, different than a lot of the other places around. It's family owned and you can tell because the staff is really nice. The food is all fresh, made from scratch. I liked the tikka frikka, like the Indian food dish but in a taco, very unique. The green chili pork is also great, just the right amount of kick.
