DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This is the worst want to be taco place I have ever been! The steak taco was boiled steak from the morning the chicken was shredded dried up chicken again from the morning! If not for the cursing names of their hot sauces it would be a great place. The food was well prepared. Our family had steak, ground beef and chicken. All meats were seasoned well. The server at counter was the same guy who brought food to table, he was a kind professional fellow. Very impressed with him. Had an island accent. The place was clean bright and pleasant to eat in. TLDR: food is fresh, delicious, and well priced, staff is friendly, would recommend over all the other places of any dining style in the Tex Mex space. Tex mex restaurants seem to be a concept this area is starting to embrace. You have one over by the outlet mall, owned by a local restaurant group. It's more of a higher end Tex mex steakhouse vibe. Then you have one down the street from Tijuana Flats, owned by a local-ish outfit, with a hell of an interior design but severely lacking in quality of food, service, etc. Now, this gem has popped up. Fast casual Tex Mex. Reasonably priced. Absolutely delicious. The hot sauce bar is super fun to try out. The staff is on it - very friendly and helpful in making our choices. The food came out hot and ultra flavorful. We ordered a garlic lime shrimp bowl, chicken flautas, the Tijuana trio (chips & salsa, queso, & guac), and a kids meal. NA drinks all around. All in we spent under $40, not including tip, and given the amount and quality of the food, this was a great price. All entrees came with more chips & salsa or queso, depending on said entree. Drink refills were plentiful, vibe is relaxed. If you're craving Tex Mex while in pigeon forge, this is the only choice. read more

My family and I love T-Flats! My wife, being a Florida native, was very excited to get one here and I'm converted as well. The food is very good and reasonably priced, the staff is friendly, and we enjoy the atmosphere as well--it's a fun place to be. Amazing service. Amazing food. My wife and I recently moved to Knoxville from Florida. Our favorite restaurant was always Tijuana Flats while we lived in Florida. We decided to visit today for our first Tijuana meal in over 2 months. The Pigeon Forge location is beautiful and served us food that tasted exactly like what we are used to, but the presentation far exceeded any other Tijuana flats we have ever been too. You can really tell the employees enjoy their craft. Also while you are in here you should check out the amazing mural. We had a great time studying it. read more

I was there today, and the people who work there are nice, but that's honestly the only positive thing that I can say about it. There was absolutely nothing good about anything that my friend and I had there today. In fact, it was so bad, it was inedible, and I left almost all of it on the table. There were a couple stumbles and mixups in regards to things we ordered, but that was very minor compared to the quality of the food. I have not yet found a good Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurant in eastern Tennessee. But out of all of them, this one is towards the bottom of the list. read more
