So you are at the Longmont Lowes, working on your latest home project and you are hungry for lunch. You want something fast, good and not expensive. The chicken place has a line out the parking lot and the sushi place isn't what you are looking for. Ah - but there is Taco Palace! Clean, easy, good prices and hardly ever crowded (which seems impossible compared to what you are getting). The place is a good tacoria - where you can get good Mexican dishes at a reasonable price. They have a large menu of tacos, burritos and plates. The breakfast burrito is excellent and like the other burritos - the tortilla is one of those high-gluten stretchy ones. The plates are good and generous, with tortillas, rice and beans. Our favorite is the carnitas. To top it off, there is a fresh salsa bar. The avocado salsa is worth a trip on its own

What a great surprise. Best Tacos I have had and I have lived here all my life. I had the carnitas and a crispy beef taco, my office mates had Shredded chicken and a burrito. The servings are large, they off 8 salsas and a traditional carrot onion relish. Bypass the chains in this area.

I have been driving by this place for awhile now meaning to try it out. I am so happy that I finally did. The food is super tasty and their salsas are great. I think they make or buy locally their tortillas because they are fantastic. Chewy and a lil thicker than basic tortillas. Sort of like the ones at Cafe Rio. I ordered on door dash for pickup and it was smooth and easy. Because these are full meals they offer in the drive thru sometimes the wait can be a lil long. I tried the potato rolled tacos. They were tasty but the filling was small. Super generous toppings on it. I am really happy I tried this restaurant and will return a lot.

This is a very good fast casual Mexican / Tex-Mex restaurant off SH-119 in Longmont. I have ordered their chicken chimichanga, lengua taco, fish taco, smothered shrimp burrito, smothered vegetarian burrito, pork tamales, & beef enchiladas. I have also gotten some of these items as a combination platter, with rice and refried beans. The refried beans include a couple tortilla chips on them. I find the food here to have succulent flavor in its sauces and the ingredients to be fresh as well. The interior of this restaurant is also clean and modern, which is a upgrade to the ones I've had up in Greeley. I'd recommend this place as a quick bite to eat if someone is in the Longmont area.

I ordered chicken tacos. While filled with chicken, the chicken was dry and tasteless. I couldn't even choke them all down

It was delicious. We had the steak and barbacoa and both very good and authentic Mexican flavors.

Love the Breakfast burritos! They are my favorite but the chimichanga and the Pacifico burrito are good too. The red salsa is delish!

It was edible but not enjoyable, certainly not worth the cost. I won't be a repeat customer.

When looking at the menu, the prices were outrageous, but thought the food must be really good! The restaurant doors were locked when we arrived around 11:30, even though their website said they opened at 10:00. I like to support local restaurants but this one was horribly disappointing! We were the only customers in the restaurant and service was extremely slow. There was only one employee we saw, the one who unlocked the door for us and turned out to be our waitress. She was polite, but very slow in getting our drink order, food order, and ticket. I could have understood understaffing, but as mentioned, we were the only customers in the place. When our food came, I was almost embarrassed for our waitress. The food hardly filled our plates. I ordered a chicken dish where the chicken breast had been split in half. It was tough and hard to cut and and chew. It was maybe the size of a small burger, very small and about 1/4 of an inch thick! According to the menu description, it was supposed to be marinated. It tasted like the "marinade" was ketchup mixed with a little Tabasco. Other plates were very skimpy on food. Burritos and enchiladas were small and almost almost laid flat on the plates. I guess I could deal with it better if the cost was about ¼ of the price we paid. No drinks for 4 totaled, with tip, around $80.00!! Will never go to this place again! I typically don't do reviews but this experience was completely "over the top" bad in all areas. We all left feeling cheated, and hungry! Don't waste your money here!
