The way we were treated was even worse than the food. The employee was rude and dismissive. When I explained there was a fly in our food, her response was simply, "It's a food truck with open doors, so stuff happens." That is not an acceptable excuse for serving contaminated food. Finding a fly in someone's meal is a serious health concern, not something that should be brushed off. Good customer service would have been apologizing, taking responsibility, and working with us to make it right. Instead, we were inconvenienced, spoken to disrespectfully, and expected to spend more time and gas returning food that was already unsafe to eat.
