Not sure if it's the kitchen or the server. No attention to detail. Had to ask two separate people for refills. The appetizer came out in decent time and was hot. The entrees on the other hand took quite a well. We've been here for 35 minutes and have yet to receive our meals. The restaurant isn't busy and there are several orders just sitting in the window waiting to be delivered to tables. Apparently the focus is on the appetizers versus the meals. We're not here for the drinks or the games. We came for food, this was a mistake. Some 50 minutes after placing our order. The food arrived and it was luke warm at best. Wow, worst fish and chips ever! Super thick crispy breading is so salty and Overwhelming and the thin 3/4" fish fillets under that breading don't have a chance. I am a decades long Taco Mac customer/fan. I have always ordered the original Buffalo Hot wings at the many dozens of T Macs around town and they have been traditionally consistent. The wings I got at this Taco Mac were covered with some type of sweet BBQ sauce totally unlike the other locations. I confirmed that I had ordered Buffalo Hot wings and the server said yes that is what these are. I went ahead and ate them but will never return to this location. read more

I would not be writing this if it were a single occurrence, but the past 2 times I've dined at Taco Mac on State Bridge Rd., I've ordered the same thing which is 10 wings, roasted with celery and blue cheese dressing. On both visits (within 30 days of each other), I received only 8 wings. After informing the server, additional wings were brought to me. Every time I order takeout from this location there is always something wrong with the order. This most recent time my family was missing 3 items, 2 of which were our children's order. I had to drive to the local fast food spot to grab them something in a timely fashion to replace their missing items. When ordering from any delivery service the sides, substitutes or options listed in the delivery app are never followed. The sad thing is there wasn't just one order messed up tonight but another customers order because we got something entirely different than what we ordered as well. read more

Ate here last week on my work lunch break. The service was a really slow. It took about 25 minutes to get my drink. My food was really good however! I got the Three-of-a-kind Taco with Mexican Street Corn. Everything was hot and very delicious. The only reason I gave three stars is because the service was really slow and my waitress was nowhere to be found several times. I had to ask for my drink and I had to ask for my check. What can I say? Our group of 7 was very disappointed with the service! We got to the restaurant around 12:30 PM and we did not get our food until 1:10 PM. Mind you, the restaurant was near empty! Two members of our group ended with a missed and a wrong order. This delayed the food by another 15 minutes. The manager served the corrected orders and let us know the missed orders are on the house which was confirmed by our waitress. No big surprise when we got our bill showing no concessions for their error. At that point, we decided to pay our bill without mentioning what they stated they would do to correct their error. The waitress was nice but clearly flustered. We had to ask for refills on our drinks which was done one at a time (again, slowing the process). In all honesty, the staff needs further training. This restaurant is located in a near empty retail space. They need to up their game to keep their business afloat. You know, it's a real bummer because we love the beer and food here, but service tonight was abysmal. A solid twenty-five minutes until we got our drinks, and even then, two out of the three beers ordered were incorrect. The waitress we got (after an initial twenty minute wait) was completely overwhelmed and had been pulled from a different section due to a seeming inability of the waitstaff IN our table's section to agree on who would take our table. Multiple instances of 0 staff on the floor, leaving us uncertain as to who to request for help. A general look at other tables showed guests who arrived after us receiving drinks or food much more expediently... perhaps because some of the waitstaff appeared to have two tables at most. The only solution appeared to be to contact management, who... I suppose amended for the disastrous service by comping an arbitrary amount off our bill. We may continue going to Taco Mac, but I don't know that we'll continue patronizing this one. read more

Alexis was such a fabulous waitress. She made sure my wings were extra crispy, just like I like them, and was an incredibly attentive server. My son's burger was slightly burnt and she totally understood that he was not happy. She replaced it with ease. This was a wonderful experience and we will be back. read more

The Old Milton/State Bridge location of Taco Mac is the absolute worst! They WILL screw up your order every. single. time. The beef in their Philly is typically burnt, very salty and often greasy. It doesn't seem like they use any type of real cheese (or even the spray kind). If you pay extra for the mushrooms they will "forget" them and keep your money. The wings are overcooked - you can taste that they've been cooked multiple times. You will not get the sauce you order on them, ever and the celery will always be "missing." We've tried to give them chances, hoping maybe they were just having an off night or two, but every single time something has gone or been wrong. We will go out of our way to order from another location. read more

Look - if you are from out of town and want to catch a sporting event, have a decent meal - Taco Mac is your place. I give it a five based on what it is.....a sports bar with great bar food and just about always consistent. This particular location is extremely friendly with Dwayne the superstar manager and friendly staff of Matt, Steve Branden, Kim and Chaz. I may come here every couple of weeks but they always remember and know what i like. Came here after a volunteer event and had the best time ever. Our server Vicktoria was amazing. She was personable and fun, informative, and helpful. We loved having her as our server. We wanted a place to watch the game and Taco Mac was in the are, so we ended up here. I was actually starving, so everything on the menu looked good to me. I ordered chicken nachos as a starter and a pretzel with cheese sauce and spicy mustard. Both came out and looked absolutely amazing. They tasted even better. Our food order only took about 15 minutes to come out. We were watching Kansas City beat up on the Titans so the time was flying by. We really enjoyed everything and it all tasted really good. The cheese on the nachos solidified pretty quickly, but that was expected once it left its heat source. The nachos were still really good. The pretzel was soft and not too salty. That cheese solidified quickly too. I also had a slice of key lime pie that tasted good. My friend had a chocolate pie that she also liked and some bbq shrimp. Taco Mac didn't disappoint, but our server made our day. She actually made a specific lemonade for my friend by mixing peach and lemonade. She liked it and was thankful. We were surprised that they weren't more crowded, but it was the earlier game. More people were coming for the 49ers game. Massive beer selection with decent bar/grill food options that were recently made even better. Brewniversity program is also a winning incentive. The beer menu could be reason enough alone to visit - especially on Thursdays when featured brews come with a glass. Before the menu expansion, food was an afterthought... now it's as appealing as the brews. First off, I'd like to say this is an odd thing from my experiences at Taco Mac. I've eaten at Taco Mac hundreds of times over the years and it's always had good food and service. On this occasion, the service was great but the food had some issues. My girlfriend and I had chips and salsa, burgers and tater tots. We had no complaints until we got home. We started feeling off and had upset stomachs. The only thing we can think is the grease from the tater tots. She vomited and felt terrible all night and the next day. I felt terrible and we both felt like we had terrible hangovers. We didn't drink at all and just drank water. I'm not sure if anyone else had a bad experience with the food on that night. This location is absolutely perfect for me and my family members. We have three houses all within 1 mile of this location. Although we love Taco Mac, the service at this location is terrible. Every time we go there, we have a terrible time getting served. We are seated quickly with plenty of open tables but no one attempts to take our orders or actually bring the food and drinks one the order is actually taken. Last night I was seated immediately with plenty of open tables. Twenty minutes later, I had still not had a single person even speak to me about my order. There were several servers, each of whom walked past my table several times without saying one word to me until I finally singled someone out to help. Today, we tried it again. Plenty of open tables. I asked the hostess if the service would be better today and she replied "We only have four servers for the entire restaurant so it will not be quick". She said that they cannot keep employees because they keep quitting because it's too busy. I cannot imagine running a business this way. I blame this 100% on management. Lack of proper staffing. Lack of proper training. Not making customer service the #1 priority. Shame on you Taco Mac management. read more

I've never been impressed with this location. It seems the only people who eat here are those that need something to do while they drink or parents with kids who are just happy to be out eating somewhere that has an endless supply of chicken tenders and fries. Good service, cleanliness and good food must not be a priority for the customers that seem to fill the parking lot from night to night. I was looking for something really spicy to go along with some good ranch! The spicy garlic wings were described as HOT, 5 out 6 on their spicy meter, I got excited!!!! Asked the waitress if it was going to be really hot, she said it depends on who's making it (consistency?). To her defense she was really trying to help the situation, but it's the "recipe followers" who really make the food. Very disappointed on the taste and the lack of spiciness. It frankly tasted like the fries, very oily and lacked any real flavors. I almost want to say they re-fried some tenders, and added some crushed red peppers and called it a day. Someone should reevaluate if they are following recipe. 2 of the 3 times I've tried this place I've been disappointed.... Maybe it's the lack of ambience in the area on why people come here. Even after some concerns about the food no manager came over to try to help the situation. I'm not looking for a free meal. I'm looking for what I ordered and some attention why it doesn't taste like described or look like the picture on the menu. Taco Mac as a chain is as average (at best) as it gets for all around American food. This particular location is by far the worst. Unfortunately, we knew that coming here but short notice left us lacking options for grabbing a beer and appetizer. We sat down and waited almost ten minutes before the server showed. Ordered waters, a beer, a margarita, and queso all at once knowing it could be a while before we saw our server again. 12 minutes later the drinks came, where my fiancé politely asked for water a second time. Roughly five minutes later the appetizers come, still no waters. We were especially thirsty after drinking straight margarita mix with no alcohol in it, that tasted terrible. Ten minutes later, flagged the waitress down and asked again for waters and a shot of tequila to put in the margarita. Finally got the waters, but the tequila never came, so we left.
