I approached the hostess stand and started snapping some pics of the menu when Alin approached, greeted me warmly and asked what she could do for me. Got my order placed, finished with the menu and set my phone down. 'Hey, you didn't get a picture of me!' Challenge accepted! Shot grabbed - she laughed, 'Nooooo!' Too late! Heh heh heh She rang up my order and while I waited I glanced around the restaurant. Cute, simple decor and lots of seating. Full bar was large and a couple of TVs showed sports, but not so loud as to be distracting. Within 10 minutes our food was wrapped and ready to go. I was sent off with another cheery salutation and 'Thank you! Enjoy your dinner!Hope you have a great week!' Back home, unwrapped the deliciousness, grabbed my last couple of pics and dug in. My tostada was yummy! I prefer to omit the lettuce and tomatoes, not liking the cold watery veggies, so it the layers were just refried beans, generous melty cheese, a scoop of guacamole, a scoop of sour cream and grilled chicken on top. But the shell is the star! I could tell it was made in house and was not at all greasy, just light and crunchy, perfect for dipping into the beans and cheese. I noticed the burritos are served "wet," with sauce and cheese, but Hubs is a simple guy, just likes beef and cheese wrapped in a tortilla and done. Nothing more. No beans. No rice. Meat and cheese. I saw his burrito was wrapped in foil, so I knew they hadn't made it "wet" - yay! Unfortunately, the pico de gallo was left in. He really doesn't care for onions or cilantro, but when I asked him about it he said it was fine. About 12 minutes later that shredded beef and cheese lil burro had vanished. When I asked him how it was, he declared it 'Yummy!' He said the pico de gallo was a small amount, but it did make him sneeze and cleared his sinuses, soooo.....LOL They included a small, perfect amount, of chips and offered pico de gallo with those, but I declined the side. Just chips to satisfy a crunch need is good for me. When we're on this end of the SFV and wanting some fresh Mexican, Viva La Fiesta satisfies. Cheers! "CC"

The venue itself has a warm, lively, & welcoming character, making it a wonderful place to relax, enjoy a meal, and spend time with friends or family. The chips are served warm accompanied by a decent flavorful salsa, (secret note: if you like a real hot salsa ask for the Habanero salsa) The Margaritas are delicious, not too strong but just right ! And they offer plenty of Tequilas to choose from- so I'm sure they have your favorite. On this visit I ordered my usual Casamigos Margarita- Sooo Good ! I then ordered up a few meals to go: First order was a two cheese enchilada combo with double beans (the beans are super tasty, can't get enough of that creamy velvety taste) Second order was the Carne Asada plater, also with double beans (of course) ;-) both are standouts - super authentic Mexican Food flavors. It offers basic seating and a simple setup. One thing that stands out is the salsa bar, which offers multiple salsas, radishes, and pickled jalapenos. I always like when a restaurant offers a salsa bar, as it allows me to douse my tacos with as much salsa as I want. This restaurant has a wide variety of options to choose from, but I have only tried their carne asada tacos and their horchata. The carne asada is usually tender, decently flavorful, and plentiful in terms of portion size. This isn't a gourmet steak taco, but rather a classic, satisfying street-taco experience from a small local taco shop. Their red salsa perfectly complements the carne asada. Adding lime to the tacos takes them to the next level! Tip: I don't think these are listed on the menu, but you can order grilled serrano peppers. They add a nice kick to the already savory red salsa. Their horchata is made in-house and is refreshing, flavorful, and authentic. It's so good that I sometimes order an extra one to take home. This is the real deal, not the powdered stuff. I've never had an issue with the service at this restaurant. I've only ever seen one employee, and she has always been friendly and helpful during every visit. One downside is that parking can be difficult to find, especially during the lunch rush. It's located in a small shopping center with very limited parking. Overall, this restaurant has a casual, laid-back vibe, excellent service, an extensive menu, generous portions, flavorful food, and absolutely delicious horchata. My wife saw on Instagram that they have asada fries for $10 on Saturday's, have been looking for some good asada fries so we had to try it. This is a food truck so you order and take it to go, or they have a couple small tables on the sidewalk if you want to eat there. When we arrived there was one order in front of us, so we did not have to wait long. The guy taking our order was very nice, I asked for some extra salsa and radishes, no problem. We ended up getting 2 orders of crazy fries, which is what they call their asada fries. A regular asada burrito, a 3 taco asada plate and a Birria trio. The fries were really good, the fries themselves were very crispy, which was great, most places are soggy fries, not here, they are crispy and very tasty by themselves. These fries are loaded, nacho cheese, asada, beans, sour cream, guacamole, onions, jalapeños, pico de gallo and cilantro. I have to say these are excellent, have had asada fries around the area and these stand heads and shoulder above them. The burrito was pretty large, packed for of meat, rice, beans, onions, cilantro and green sauce, tasty and enough for two when sharing fries as well. These Birria trio was great, interesting, 3 takes on their birria tacos, one kind of like a tostado style, then a queso birria, and a birria taco. These are one of my son's favorites, so had to get them and only $10 as well. Lastly, I got the 3 Asada tacos plate with rice and beans, I liked them very much, but I am easy to please and can't go wrong with asada tacos typically. All in all a great new find and we will be back to get the crazy fries and try some of there other items on our next visits.
