Consistently friendly service with good drinks, food & service. I come here about once a month,…read moresometimes more. It's close to where I work. It's a come as you are, happy to have you kind of vibe. Customers are primarily locals. Everyone I've encountered is always nice..customers & staff. One night I want to come for a band or karaoke. Usually here for an hour or 2 for happy hour. Really like it here

Frogzz is a fun, laid-back local bar that seems to be a favorite among residents--but even as…read moreoutsiders, we felt completely welcome. The vibe was friendly and inclusive, which made for a really enjoyable night. The parking lot is huge, though it still struggled to fit everyone--this place clearly draws a crowd. There were lots of motorcycles, which added to the cool, slightly rugged scene. The bar itself has a large back patio, several rooms inside, and a spacious main bar that wraps around three sides. Seating is plentiful and well laid out. There was a pool table that got a lot of use--make sure to bring quarters if you want to play. We also caught a live band playing that night and they were fantastic, though the volume was a bit overwhelming at times. Still, the energy was great, and the music was a big plus. The bartender, Donna (I think that was her name), was friendly and attentive. I only had a drink, so I'm not sure if they serve food--I'll have to check on that next time. It's also worth noting they offer free Wi-Fi and have several large TVs, which was a nice bonus. My coworkers, who had already been here a few times, all seemed to enjoy themselves again. One thing I always pay attention to is lighting, and Frogzz hit the mark: not too bright, not too dim--just right for a relaxed night out. And yes, true to the name, there's frog-themed decor everywhere--fun, quirky, and definitely part of the charm. All in all, a thumbs up. I'd come back with friends. The overall automosphere seems geared more toward an older crowd. However, it's still chill and easy to enjoy at any age.

We decided to eat here last minute at 7:30pm on Sunday night. I called and asked to see if we need…read morea reservation. They asked for how many people, and I said 4. They said they don't make reservations for that amount of people. So I'm guessing they only take reservations for larger parties of people. We arrive at 7:35pm. The hostess said the wait would be about 20mins. She said to check back around 8pm for our table. We were seated at 8pm, but she seemed to forgot about us, becasue the table was opened the whole time we were there. We started off with the appetizer sampler which was 5 wings, 2 clam cakes, and 2 potato skins. The appitizer was good, the wings were a bit dry. We also got the shrimp tostada, meatball, and burger as out main dishes. The shrimp tostada was disgusting. It was a fried flour tortilla served with wilted lettuce and shrimp drowned in mayo. It was basically unedible. The meatball was okay, it was not what we expected though. It was a giant meatball served with a huge piece of butter in between it. The burger was the only thing that was great. It was cooked medium rare, and was huge. The fries were soft. We would not come here again. If you happen to come here, get the burger or pastas they lookd good. Stay away from the shrimp tostada.

Located on scenic Dune Road, Sundays On The Bay is one of those restaurants I've always wanted to…read morego to but never had the time. Last night I was driving back to the city and decided to check it out. I drove down the long road flanked by sand dunes. The sunset was simply beautiful. There was very little traffic and I made it to the restaurant easily. Once there I was greeted by a friendly young girl at the door. The place was pretty packed but I was able to get a table by the water with a view of the bay and marina. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The food arrived hot and nicely arranged. The main entree I selected was the "Long Island Monkfish" for 34$. The price was more than expected for the quantity of food and they should have included some bread - very much needed with the spicy vinaigrette. The monkfish was absolutely delicious! The leeks and gnocchi went perfectly with the fish. I read online that the Branzino is really good here. I really wanted to try the Branzino but they ran out of it. Before I left, I went to the restroom. They have two stalls so there was a bit of wait. The main area is open with sinks, soap and a Dyson dryer - no paper towels. The stalls are clean with ample space. While waiting, I chatted with the other people who had been to the Rose wine soirée earlier. They said it was great - unlimited rose wine plus appetizers at the beginning, including lobster rolls. Tickets were 60$ all inclusive. They had a DJ and small outdoor dance floor and it was almost all women. That's not a surprise - rose wine events tend to attract more women than men. I'm not sure why, maybe because rose wine is pink or the invite appeals more to a female audience.

We found this restaurant one late September day on our way out to Montauk…read more It is near the eastern tip of the barrier island and Dune Road. Beautiful location with bay views and the marina. On a Sunday afternoon, looked mainly like regulars coming in around noon. The lobsters and clams were excellent as was the service. The menu was varied for a Sunday Brunch/Lunch and a great value compared to other restaurants of its location type and customer base. Afterwards, we walked about 200 yards to watch the folks fishing off the rocks both into the Bay and the Ocean.

We went two nights ago and will never return. The food isn't bad. It's borderline inedible. Lobster Mac and Cheese was like soup with Orchiette. Lobster bisque had on shard of lobster and no flavor. For dinner, the scallops were bland and $59 got you 4 scallops. Yup, $15/bland scallop over some gooey paste. The steak, overcooked and tasteless. The Caesar's salad with no protein was the best meal at the table. Everything bagel Salmon had no taste. How does something with everything bagel seasoning need salt? It's a shame to see what was a great set of memories be relinquished to never being more. Go elsewhere. Oh yeah, all that and it was $750 for six people eating half of crap...
