    Chorizo burrito
    Jessica O.

Stopped by Gordos on a whim. It is located in the Bravo parking lot and man, the lot is unattractive as can be with garbage everywhere. I got a chorizo burrito and a tamarind jarritos soda. The total came to $15 which honestly is not bad because the burrito is so large that it can easily be shared. The food is fresh and delicious and really my only complaint about the taste is I would have liked it a little spicier, but that's what hot sauce is for. Not a fan of how they cut the burrito because there were little bits of foil stuck to my burrito and I'm pretty sure I ingested some (hooray for shiny foil in my poop tomorrow). The only other thing to note is you'll most likely take your food home or eat in your car. There's a picnic table but the lot smells like hot garbage (literally it's the hottest day of the year and the dumpster is overflowing so maybe it's not always like this but definitely grossssss)

Ordered from them yesterday at Betterman Distillery. The guacamole was great and the Mexican lobster roll was amazing!

The place was sooo hot and humid I could barely breathe. 10 minutes later a table of 6 comes, they order drinks, place their apps order and dinner order. 20 minutes later we STILL have not placed our food order and had to flag someone down. On top of the food taking forever, no one checked on us. I got the enchiladas verdes BLAND. Ordered a cheese quesadilla for my son, cheese was like an inch thick, we had to squeeze it out. And my husband got a chicken torta that was stale. $85 later I wish we went across the street and got sushi instead. Will definitely not be back.

The sangria had quite a punch and the michelada had me reminiscing about that one time in Mexico. We got a shrimp sopa to share which came out hot and was super tasty. Our tortas came quickly after. I got the mixto torta which had two kinds of meat, and we also got the Cubano. After they came out we realized we could have split a sandwich because they were huge. The sandwich bread was soft and the sandwich itself was delicious. Aside from the food we got, they offer kids meals and even breakfast! They also have your typical tacos and burritos. I also loved the ambiance of the place, really gave you that feel of Mexico. I honestly cannot wait to go back and try other things they have to offer.

Alright... let's talk about it…read more Pulled up hungry and left FULL full. This spot did not come to play. Started off with the Caribbean wings -- and I'm not exaggerating when I say the flavor hit immediately. Sweet, savory, a little kick... the kind of wings where you pause after the first bite and just look at the person next to you like "yeah... these are serious." Then we got into the tacos. Shrimp tacos, jerk chicken tacos, pulled pork tacos, buffalo chicken tacos -- basically the whole lineup. Every single one was juicy, packed with flavor, and perfectly balanced. Nothing dry, nothing bland. Each bite was savory and satisfying like the kitchen really cares about what they're putting out. And the margarita flight? That sealed the deal. Different flavors, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the food. You could sit there with friends, sip through the flight, and just keep eating. By the end of it I was so full, but the crazy part is I still felt like I could keep working my way through the entire menu because everything was hitting like that. Great food, great drinks, great vibe. If you're thinking about coming here... **don't think too long. Just pull up hungr
