What a find!! In an authentic Indian grocery store they serve tacos? WHAT??? We saw a fellow yelper in the area had tried them out and we decided to give them a go. Don't be confused when you walk in... it is a grocery store. Head to your left and you will find a whiteboard with the menu on it. For today (sorry didn't snap a pic) there was four types of tacos, quesadillas, and something else that escapes my mind! Forgive me!! Anyways the special was 4 tacos and a drink. We ordered two steak and two chicken and wow wow wow they are authentic and fabulous. I cannot wait to keep going. Such a great deal and such good tacos. Then we had fun exploring the rest of the store while we were there. On the other side there is even a fancy fruit bar. So what I am getting across to you is don't be scared to give them a try. You can eat there or get the food to go.

Great authentic Mexican food. This is a hole in the wall. It is a Mexican market with sit down seating inside. Warning, server barely speaks English. Great food, they are open. Order your food and Dine INSIDE. THANKS FOR BEING OPEN!

Walking through this residential neighborhood of single and 2 and 3-family homes I was surprised…read morewhen this place appeared, still a few blocks away from the main commercial areas. Tacos, perfect for a light meal. I asked for a table on the semi-enclosed patio. It looked cozy, with its low painted walls, table umbrellas and overhead canopies, birds chirping and Mexican music softly playing. I had two street tacos, a la carte, and a house margarita. That would be enough with the complimentary chips and salsa for the small lunch that I wanted, but I'd recommend three for a normal size lunch. The Lamb Barbacoa was tender pieces, moist from the rich simmer sauce, with raw and fried onions and lots of cilantro. A bit salty. The Pork Belly was large pieces, relatively lean, nicely rendered and curiously sweet/sour. With radishes, tomatoes, picked onions. Both were very good. As were the two hot sauces brought when I asked, one very hot and the other smoky and sweet. The chips and salsa were nothing special but both decent. The margarita was just ordinary in flavor and strength and served in a disposable plastic cup. It was refreshing nonetheless. As for other menu items, there are all the Tex-Mex standards and some Mexican entrees but I think I'd get some street tacos again; there are a large variety, many which I've not seen before. All the staff: greeter, bartenders, waiters, were fully bilingual, today serving a roughly equal mix of English and Spanish-speaking customers. My waiter checked on me frequently and his advice to try the pork belly taco (his favorite) was spot on. Another person was engaged in cleaning the entire time I was there, and I watched in fascination as she tackled every conceivable surface, using a variety of tools and stepladders where needed. Dinner and a show. I am easily entertained.

This review is specifically about the bartenders during our most recent visit... because wow. The female bartender? Incredible. Friendly, attentive, exactly what you'd expect at a place like this. Now for the issue: the two male bartenders (mullet and top knot). From the second we walked up, mullet acted like we personally ruined his day by ordering drinks. The attitude was immediate-short, annoyed responses, zero effort to be welcoming. When I asked for a simple margarita (tequila, lime, agave), he hit me with an eye roll and a condescending "I know how to make a margarita." Cool-then maybe try making one without the attitude? Top knot wasn't any better-same dismissive energy, like basic customer interaction was a burden. The whole vibe behind the bar felt more like we were bothering them than paying customers. It's honestly wild how two people can drag down the experience of an otherwise great spot. I'll still come back, but I'll definitely think twice about sitting at the bar.

We had the breakfast burritos (ate 1/2 to leave room for lunch) and then went straight into a chipotle chicken taco, a beef and chorizo taco and loved the Mexican-Dips and Chips. The coffee was spectacular and Texas drink options like Horchata, Jarritos and Topo Chico are available. I had a Pineapple Jarrito and a homemade Horchata which was delicious. Beware- the tacos and burritos are packed with lots of yummy ingredients so you will not leave Foxy Loxy hungry. The cute environment offers so many seating options in its multi-level spaces indoors and outside in their amazing courtyard. Service was excellent as the staff was friendly and food came out quickly. Parking isn't a challenge if you opt to park across the street where you can park for FREE for 1 1/2 hours. Don't miss this hidden gem in Savannah! Especially if you are a Texan and need a little taste of home. Kolaches included!

They use simple syrup in the London Fog instead of vanilla syrup and it was actually better this way, not overly sweet. My husband had the sausage scramble burrito and LOVED it.
