The food here is phenomenal. The flavors and topping choices are exactly what I look for inna good taco. My go to has consistently been chicken soft tacos with cilantro sauce, salsa, onion, cilantro and jalapeno. Do not sleep on this place!!!!! My only negative is the oreo churro- could easily break your teeth, very blessed that it did not though!

We were craving for Mexican food and my son suggested to pick up something from this local business. Generous serving was given for our burrito bowl order. It has halal meal and the request for medium sauces was delivered. Order did not take long. Pricing is worth the serving size.

Good quality tacos but at a higher price than comparable restaurants. Ratings: Corn Tacos (Crispy) (3Pcs) with shrimp 7/10 The crispiness of the tacos is fantastic it's more like an airy crust. The shrimp was cooked perfectly with a soft texture but needed more flavoring. Loaded Fries 7/10 Fries are seasoned and good with lots of toppings. The meat quantity is ok but it's comparable in price to other loaded fries. CHICKEN BIRRIA TACOS 6/10 The flavor is good just like regular birria and it comes with consume but at a unit price of $6+ per taco it's not very worth it and hard to justify. If you can score two for one on Uber eats, it becomes worth it!

My husband had tried the burritos from this place and said they were pretty good- better than Chipotle so I decided to give it a try too. We took advantage of the bogo free deal on Uber Eats. I accidently ordered the burrito bowls instead of burritos, and when I called the store, the staff was very polite and said no problem, I'll change it for you. My husband got the grilled chicken burrito and I opted for steak with guacamole. They weren't as big as Chipotle's burritos and the portions were smaller but I agree- it does taste better than Chipotle. The steak and chicken were well seasoned & flavorful and the burrito itself tasted fresh, just wish they had added a little more guacamole bc I could barely taste it until the end. Next time I'll probably add an extra side of guacamole. I would definitely order burritos from here again as well as try their birria & crispy corn tacos!

    My receipt.

I ordered a burrito bowl and chips from Taco Express through Uber Eats, and the final total reached $44, including tip. I did not order a drink, which makes this price especially unreasonable for such a modest meal. As a student, this level of pricing feels like broad daylight robbery. The excessive fees significantly inflate the cost, and this experience makes it clear how Uber Eats generates its revenue.

We came here for some food for Cinco de Mayo and this place was amazing! You order at this place similar the way you do at Chipotle. Base: Options include a burrito, quesadilla, bowl, tacos, and nachos. Grains: Mexican Rice and Cilatro Beans: Black or Pinto Proteins: Vegetable paneer, honey chipotle chicken, grilled chicken, beef, steak Toppings: Queso, cheese, potatoes, fajitas veggies, salsa, guac, onions, lettuce, and spring mix Sauces: Cilantro sauce, sweet mango verde sauce, chipotle sauce, sour cream, habanero I ended up getting a bowl with cilantro rice, beans, chicken, queso, guac, and the mango verde sauce. The bowl was so filled and it ended up making about two meals. Definitely worth it. The food was amazing and I ended up having so much food for about $11.

Food was ok I liked the chicken birria (my first time trying), honey chicken bowl was good. Nachos was ok, very little bit in a big bowl. My family had steak birria they said was horrible compared to the ones they had before! Tacos was ok (good serving for price) Sodas were good. They had jarritos different flavors. My main reason for low stars is the cleanliness. I'm not sexist but I guess boys alone here not the best idea counters very messy. Containers untidy. The TOILET IS THE WORSE!! Never clean in weeks looks like!! Duttyyy!! Please focus on some cleaning to maintain this place! I normally barely eat from "pending grade" restaurants ( I was recommended by a friend) but maybe this is why! Please acknowledge!

One word: FLAVORFUL!!! We got the honey chipotle chicken burrito and tacos. Guacamole is only $1 more and all other toppings/sauces are included! Everything was jam packed with flavor, and put together very well! They have so many different options and the service was fast. Plus they're open late which is a huge bonus! The quality of the food was top notch we will definitely be back!

Everything was great and portions were generous

Note- Menu has changed a bit since I was there, with the prices having been updated (especially the…read moretagine,) with there also being some new dishes on the menu. Recommendations- Bastilla/Pastilla, Tagines, Zaalouk. Grilled platters are alright. On a side note, some dishes, similar to other Moroccan places, such as couscous, are only available on weekends. As per many of my recent reviews, I was at this Moroccan spot a good while ago, with our host having heard about it prior to the place being featured in the NYT Top 100 as well as on TasteBuds, a highly recommended Instagram/TikTok account. The woman who helped us, whom I believe was one of the owners, was very friendly, and the place inside was casual and decently busy, especially for how far away it is from the subway. The food was overall very tasty, with a particularly good bastilla/pastilla, among everything else, and I can see why this restaurant has gotten so much publicity. My preference of the two appetizers was the $7.99 Zaalouk, or eggplant cooked in tomato sauce and marinated with charmoula. The dish reminded me a bit of Egyptian-style moussaka due to the mix, though less tomato-focused and more about the sweet eggplant. The chermoula was very light, with a hint of sourness and spice. Overall, this was delicious, especially with the bread. The other appetizer was the Moroccan Carrot for $6, which was a mix of sliced carrots with a spicy chermoula. Of everything we ordered, this was the least favorite dish of the night, as the cold carrots lacked much flavor, as there was a lack of chermoula flavor, just like with the eggplant. Best of the dishes was the $12.99 Chicken Bastilla, or Pastilla, listed as a traditional Moroccan pie stuffed with chicken strips, crushed almonds, and dusted with icing sugar and cinnamon. A lot of people might find this sweet and savory combination odd, but I have gotten used to it, and this was a very good version. The chicken was well-spiced, the pie was flaky, and it wasn't overly sweet. The previous place, which had the best version, was the long-closed La Shuk in Harlem, and this is better, though I do want to compare it to the other popular Moroccan spot in Astoria, Siham. Second favorite was the Lamb Tajine, or Tagine, With Prunes for $22, consisting of slow cooked meat with prunes, dried apricots, roasted almonds, and sesame, and served with rice. The lamb inside was very tender and fell off the bone. I liked the roasted almonds and sesame as the bit of nuttiness helped with the overall sweetness of the dish. We also liked this dish, and it paired particularly well with the rice. My preference from the grilled section was the $16.99 Merguez, listed as Moroccan merguez grilled over charcoal, and served with rice. The dish came with many pieces of sausage, which had a slight spicy kick and a bit of a snap. For the same price, there was also the Grilled Lamb, or tender lamb with a choice of rice or fries. The lamb was pretty flavorful, but some pieces were a bit overcooked. It was good, though, but not as notable. The fries on the side were a mixed bag, with some being crispy and some a bit soft, so between the two, I would recommend the rice more. While I didn't love the grilled platters, the rest of the dishes were delicious. Combine that with the friendly service, and we had a very good time. I wouldn't mind going back and trying again, though this might also be because I want to have more of their bastilla.

The portions were generous, the meat was consistently tender, and everything was packed with rich, comforting flavor. This is the kind of food that really sticks with you. Even though we ordered to-go, the experience stood out. The staff treated us incredibly well during the wait and even offered complimentary Moroccan mint tea and bread. For a brief moment, it genuinely felt like a glimpse into Moroccan hospitality. I do not rave about places often, but this is absolutely one I would recommend to others without hesitation.

None of the other fast food places like Wendy's or Popeyes would go above and beyond for their mistake. Very much appreciated. The tenders and sliders use the same chicken, but sliders come with some Coleslaw inside. I recommend the medium spice level. They use a nice rub that's not too spicy. I'm guessing there's also hint of sugar that makes it so good. I would probably choose tenders over sliders since the buns on sliders masks the tastiness of the chicken. Fries were crinkle fries. Solid 5/5. My daughter loved Dave's sauce, which is good because I was afraid it would be spicy. Overall, pleasantly surprised and will come back!

I was brought here by my friend (and her family) as she recommended the place, and she came pretty often. I would say that my friend sometimes has interesting taste, but so far her recommendations have been really solid. Since my friend brought me here, I just took whatever she recommended, as she took command of all ordering. This was great for me, since I opened the menu and was like... wow, I don't even know what is good. So I just sat back and *attempted* to listen to what was going on. We ended up getting hot tea with lemon, beef skirt kebab, lamb kebab, samsa, cheburek with meat, and a few other things I'm not quite sure about. She just ordered, and honestly, I just ate everything she threw at me. The samsas were delicious! They were super flaky, and the meat was well seasoned and super juicy. The samsa were also quite hefty, they fill you up if you eat too many. It reminded me of the homemade ones my friend used to give me. Next up, the cheburek with meat. This was a first for me, and my friend said it was a must get. She was completely right... we ended up getting a 2nd order of this. It was super light, compared to everything else we ordered, as it is only filled with a bit of meat. The dough is fried to perfection, it was a bit crispy, soft, and didn't feel oily. It came with what I assume is a tomato sauce, which pairs well with it. We also got a few of the beef and lamb kebabs, and they were also delicious. The beef tasted better than the lamb, but my friend says that is just depends on the day. So I guess it depends on who is cooking that day? But the beef was super juicy, and it was well seasoned. The lamb was also good, but it just wasn't as yummy as the beef skirt. Overall, I really like everything here and I look forward to my next trip back to NY.
