This family run business catered an afternoon pool party we had. First let me say the food is very good. It is exactly what you want, delicious and flavorful meats, various salsas, condiments. They even brought churros and made quesadillas for people who didn't want tacos. But the best part of the entire experience is how care free I needed to be in managing the food and party. They took care of everything from paper products, cutlery to setup and cleanup. They were there a full three hours making sure my guests had enough to eat as they came back for seconds and even thirds. I highly recommend this taco catering company as they provide tremendous value for what you pay for. I cannot wait to use them at my next event. read more

Delicious and great value! I used Taco El Botanas many years ago as well, but we hired them for the 2024 Superbowl and I'm so happy we did! We told them a 4pm start time, they arrived at 230pm and were ready to go a bit early. The meat is excellent and very flavorful. Everyone loved the sides and salsas as well. They make quesadillas and we also got some bacon wrapped hot dogs and churros. All of that for about $17 a person, you can't beat the quality and price. They also will serve smaller parties, many require 50+. we had a lot of food leftover and they left it for us in the trays and wrapped in aluminum foil. People were able to enjoy it later in the evening and take a bunch home. Was very easy to get a quote and book over text and they accept Zelle for payment which is nice. Thanks for serving us yesterday, we will definitely book again! read more

We have been booking Taco El Botanas for years now. We've tried different taco catering but what sets them apart is that their tacos are fresh. You could really taste the difference. They are so easy to work with, communicate well - they even know sign language! That is huge for us! They have bacondogs, quesadillas and churros too. Considering their service, I think the price is very reasonable. You get what you pay for if you look for a cheaper alternative. read more

I hired Taco El Botanas for a birthday party, and they were great! The price was super reasonable when I was shopping around. They showed up right on time and were ready to serve when we needed them. The food was very good. We got carne, pollo and al pastor, plus rice and beans, chips and fresh guacamole. They also made quesadillas for the kids. There was plenty to feed all my hungry guests plus I got some great leftovers for the week. Highly recommend! read more

Food was delicious!! Service was wonderful! Price was very reasonable. I reserved Taco El Botanas for my husbands 40th birthday celebration. It was a small celebration and we wanted plenty of leftovers so ordered for more guests than we had, they wrapped everything up and we ate this all weekend!! All my guests commented on how delicious the tacos were. They had an amazing pineapple and pork mix that I'm pretty certain everyone had two plates of! I would definitely recommend Leo and his family business and plan to reserve their catering services again in the future! read more

I couldn't get a hold of the taco person I originally booked for my daughter's graduation. I found Tacos El Botana on Yelp and read all the great reviews, so I called Leo, and he was kind enough to do my event. Elva arrived at 2:30 p.m. to start cooking. The party started at 4:30 p.m., tacos were a hit and the bacon hot dogs, was also a hit. They stayed until 7:30 p.m. I highly recommend them, super organized, clean and excellent customer service. read more

I found Tacos El Botanas on Yelp and was a bit hesitant at first but reviews DON'T lie their tacos were amazing. An absolute hit. All their meats were so juicy and the raspados really hit the spot on a hot summer day. Communication with Elva was effortless. She was very good at answering all of my questions. Direct with prices as well as fair. We had to reschedule our event last minute and Elva was very accommodating. Thank you Tacos El Botanas. I will definitely be going back to their services for my next event read more

We hired them for a baby shower for a small group of people and they were great! Everyone kept commenting on how good the tacos were, which is something you want to hear because you want to leave a good impression with your guests. Many went back for seconds and even thirds! I personally loved everything, from the rice and beans even the salsa was great! They arrived before the party began which was great to set up everything. They were super nice and curtious aswell. They left so much food which we appreciated. They cleaned up after themselves and left as if they never came. I would definately hire them again for a future party! Thank You so much! read more

Just WOW! Leo and his crew came and cooked for my birthday party last night and the food was a hit! Everything was 1st class. They were on time, courteous and nice, they cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave a mess. Now let's talk about the tacos! YUMMMMM! Flavorful and delicious. Seriously I can say hands down this was the best taco guy I have ever used. They even packed up the remaining food to go for us. I will never use anyone else. Thank you again! read more

I booked Taco El Botanas to cater my husband and my birthday party. It was super easy to request a quote through Yelp. Elva got back to me in less than 24 hours with a quote for all you can eat taco bar for 50 guests. Leading up to the week before the party, Leo reached out to confirm our final guest count and we also were able to add on churros and quesadillas. The taco bar for 50 guests included all you can eat chicken and asada, rice and beans, 2 dozen quesadillas, salsa sides, limes, cilantro and churros!!! Plenty of leftovers too that we got to keep. The team showed up 30 mins early to prep food and ended up staying over 30 minutes despite quoting us for 3 hours of service. I give these guys 5 stars because of their amazing customer service, delicious/authentic food and honestly really good deal for everything they did from beginning to end. Thank you Leo and Elva! read more

I simply have never had better service. Leo and his crew arrived at my housewarming party two hours before to prepare and set up. The food was spectacular and a huge hit at the party and very reasonable. Everyone was raving about them and how great the service was as well. Thank you Leo and your crew for making my party the talk of the town. read more

I had been searching for taco catering for my birthday party for weeks. I received a few referrals from friends but they were so expensive for what they were offering and the time they allotted for service....so I went to my ever so faithful Yelp and found Taco El Botanas; 49 reviews and 5 stars; I took the chance and so happy I did. Leo and his crew arrived on time, set up was easy..service started a little later than we had planned, which was fine because guests were busy drinking, but Leo also stayed a 1/2 hour later. He served: Carne Asada Tacos Chicken Tacos Potato Tacos Cheese Quesadillas Beans and Rice Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs Now, I personally didn't have any tacos the night of the party but me and a few friends ate our weight in bacon wrapped hot dogs :) All of my friends loved all the tacos, quesadillas and beans and rice- the food was served hot and well seasoned. At the end of the night he packaged up all left over food for us and thoroughly cleaned up. Fast forward to Sunday night...tired from the party, not wanting to do a single thing but relax- reheated the leftover asada, chicken, beans and rice- it was as though it had just been cooked! If leftovers were as good as they were, then I have to bank on my friends when they said the food was absolutely delicious the night of the party. I received text messages the next few days following the party commenting on how good the food was and requests to forward Leo's information; which of course I happily did. Thanks for helping make my party a huge success Leo- I will definitely be calling you again for future events :) read more

Had them cater my son's birthday party in our backyard. They came a bit later than they had promised but the food was still ready at the start of the party. Leo and two others were there. We had the chicken and al pastor. I personally loved the chicken! Rice and beans were good too. Everything was definitely on the "over seasoned" side but it was delicious, so I didn't mind. We booked them for a party of 35 for $240. We probably had about 30 people show up, plus some kids. There was SOOO much left over food. They helped us pack it up and we ate the food for my next dinner and lunch and lunch again. :) Would definitely recommend them and would definitely use them again! read more

If you don't want to read my whole review just know that I am overall extremely satisfied. Price: awesome! He even stayed an extra two hours for only $40 extra. After shopping around this place had the best price and stayed in the budget for my daughters birthday party Food: I was very happy with how the food tasted and so was my entire party, not a single complain. It was delicious, warm the entire time, and fresh. There was more than enough food for my 40 guests and I even have leftovers, and they ate a lot!! Customer service: Leo was very very professional, from when we first started to discuss date/time/food/price etc, he was prompt in his responses and had it all together. He arrived on time and was more than happy to stay late. Leo and the extra person he brought to help were VERY FRIENDLY. They were open to any special requests. Over all I can't stress how satisfied I am. I WILL be coming to this business again for all other events or parties I will host. They were clean, professional, friendly, fair, delicious food, and I don't think you have to look any other places for your food needs!!! Thanks again Leo!!! read more

I hired Leo and his Crew to cater my 150ppl wedding and they did an AMAZING job! I had no complaints. Food was great, service was amazing and they were professional.. I know we had a slight issue coordinating the time for set up but our communication window was open. My guests LOVED the food, and I was VERY pleasantly pleased. Price was one of the best quotes out there, and better believe I did my shopping, and with the service I got... I was sooo happy. Thank you Leo! I will definitely refer you and call you again for any taco catering I may need in the future! read more

We used Taco El Botanas for my daughter's fist and stepson's 11-year combined birthday party. From start to finish, Leo was super-professional and helpful, and his #1 goal was to make things easy for us. He totally succeeded! The food was sooooo good, they stayed the perfect amount of time, set-up/cleaned-up with no issues, and had the good sense to offer snow cones upon ordering (it ended up being 95 degrees the day of the party). The kids loved them, and the adults did too (making them "grown-up"). Those little touches made for the perfect day. Not to mention they were the most economical of all the taco caterers I consulted. I've never hosted a party where I actually got to enjoy the day, and thanks to Leo and Taco El Bontanas, I enjoyed every moment. Will definitely use them again! read more

Leo and his staff are AMAZING! We booked his team for my daughter Olivia's first birthday. They were punctual, professional and the food was FANTASTIC It was an incredible hot that day and they worked tirelessly through the whole event. We had wanted to find a vendor to cut fruit and sprinkle chili...we had no luck and when I mentioned it to Leo he said NO PROBLEM just buy the fruit you want and we will cut it for you. Unbelievable service. We will be booking in the future and will recommend them any time possible. In the end, he packed up all the leftovers for us to enjoy at our after party again....impeccable service. Thank you Leo we look forward to working with you again. The Ollisons read more

I was looking for taco catering for my daughters birthday party and found that Leo's prices were reasonable and he was was easy to book with. The food came with a choice of 2 means, rice, beans, salsa and other condiments. It is always hard booking a service without a referral, but based on the other reviews I decided to go with them. They came early, set up on time and the guests enjoyed the food. We also asked for bacon wrapped hot dogs which the guests also liked. I did forget to let folks know that that quesidillas were included. Leo and his family were keeping an eye out for any unwelcomed guests at the park. We had people trying to get free food. Thank you Leo! read more

Leo, his wife and daughter did an amazing job. Had a party at my house, they showed up and prepared yummy tacos. As in amazing food. A great addition to the meal was the shaved ice! Yes, we all had some of those crazy old flavors, bubble gum, blueberry, just those old sugary classics. They worked very hard, we have a ton of leftovers, and everyone went back for seconds. I highly recommend. read more

The tacos were delicious! They had a tiny hiccup with a valve at our party making the start time a few hours late, but it worked out in our favor because the guests were socializing and drinking and then everyone was good and ready to eat! The two that came to our party (Sorry! I Don't know their names!) were lovely and kind and kept me informed on the start time for the food so I knew what to tell my guests. Once the tacos were flowing it was perfect and everyone was so happy with the food! Thanks guys! It was great. read more

Had a great experience with them this past weekend. I contacted them 2 months ago via email and received a quote for a reasonable price. They confirmed with me a few weeks before the party and again 2-3 days before the event. All communication was done via email. On the day of the event they catered a full taco bar for 100 people and we also added 2-dozen bacon wrapped hot dogs. Let me tell you that the tacos and hot dogs were the talk of the party!!! Very tasty meat for the tacos, especially the asada and al pastor. They also added a few quesadillas for free which was a nice bonus! All of our guests raved about the food and I can't thank them enough!!! read more

Well... I cannot speak on their food but they were my top runner in shopping for the right taco caterer & they quickly nixed themselves from the running! I cannot stand poor communication that's just... "Ok confirm us & give us your money!" If you cannot read my message & take the time to answer my questions when trying to earn my business then I can only imagine the poor service heading my way once you have my money! NOT something I'm willing to gamble on! read more

Leo and his team are AWESOME!!! He catered a small party for us in September. Not only is he just a cool, relaxed and all around friendly guy, he was on time and started setting everything up and was ready to start serving food when the guests started arriving! Prices were reasonable, too. :) We had beef, chicken and sprang for the pork tacos as well as quesadillas. There was so much food! And two different salsas. Of course, there was also rice, beans, onions & cilantro, limes, etc - so much food choice! Everything tasted fresh and our guests kept talking about how great the food was. We chowed down and still had leftovers, which Leo packed up for us. My hubby & I can't stress how delicious the food was. Leo is very professional, personable and a kind soul. We were so happy with the service for our last minute SuperBowl party. The ladies of Taco El Botanas came early to set-up and did a great job serving our guests for 2 hours. Their tacos might be small but they are filling and delicious! For sides they provided rice, beans and two different salsas. Also their quesadillas were perfect, crispy and cheesy! They packed us the left overs with tin foil pans and cleaned up as if they were not there. Very happy and excited to use them again soon! read more

We hired Leo and the gang to cater for a party last weekend, and everyone (including myself) was extremely pleased! First of all, the crew was very professional, and planned everything accordingly. The weather was particularly bad that night, so they actually pre-prepped as much as they could to get around having any problems. Next, they arrived early to make as best of a set-up as possible. Lastly, they kept the area clean, and food fresh. Everyone loved the tacos, and they left the place spotless afterwards. A++ for these guys. read more
