Tostada supreme

We visited as a first time. Impressed with Friendly staff, good food and reasonably priced. Definitely going back. The tostada Supreme is my fave. All good fresh ingredients. The place was very clean. Bathroom was very clean too. Definitely going back

I guess the Rangers like them too!

The best Mexican fast food in Texas? Hell yes! Taco Casa is my go to place. Bell and Bueno can't hold a candle to them. All their items are bigger and better. Fast service and fresh food. I love the spicy sauce on my bean burritos. Plus, they will gladly clean your table for you. (See napkin holder). Menu is smaller, but they have everything that I want. So...lunch...Casa...be there!

Super nachos

Went here fir a quick bite to eat. There was a lot of people in the driveway so guessing a lot of people like it. Waiting in line wasn't too bad. Prices aren't bad. We ordered super nachos, taco lite, burrito supreme and other taco. Service was quick. I like the way they package the nachos so they don't get soggy on the way home. As well as the other food. They pack the tacos and burritos well with the toppings. Food was good for fast food. Not the best but would definitely go back.

3.75% SERVICE FEE WHEN you use your credit card!!

I love Taco Casa and I've been to a ton of them and this one I would have to say was ALMOST the best. Quick, friendly, clean and the portions were HUGE! I had to taco salad and my mate had the Super Nachos!! So loaded everything was almost hanging off the sides! The only bone I have to pick and it ain't chicken (no chicken at this place by the way) is the 3.75% CUSTOMER SERVICE FEE if you pay with card?!?!?!?! What next a tip jar? This is a huge turn off to me and that is why I'm giving this place a 3. Not sure if I'll return, but I will most definitety give my peeps a heads up on this fee.

Best part of this place is their sweet tea, chili burgers, and soft tacos. I do like they offer a courtesy size drink that is free.

The server was there within seconds with chips and salsa. Order drinks and they were excellent. Table side guacamole, was on point. Favorite full and just the perfect heat. I ordered the chile relleno, stuffed with shrimp and a cheese sauce. Served on a bed of diced squash diced and lightly grilled. The squash had a nice smoky flavor and not over cooked with a nice texture. All topped with a special sauce. A hint of sweetness. It all complimented each other, nothing overpowered the other. Each favor pallet was present. The side of rice was good, but no wow factor. The server "Juan" was EXCELLENT! Very attentive!! He knew his job and preformed it well. Served the food, gave us a couple minutes to view it and taste it and returned to see all was good. He was always on top of the situation. Just one small thing that's a turn off, never serve a basket with broken and pieces of chips. But I still give you a five! The employees were SO nice and I couldn't believe how fast our food came out. The food was okay for my personal liking. I ordered the Toños - cheese enchilada, chicken enchiladas and beef taco. The Mexican food is Tex-Mex style and I just felt it was bland and okay. One of my kids was happy with their chicken strips and fries. The other had a cheese enchilada that was "too spicy," and my husband had fajitas that he was happy with.

Service was great. Everyone was really nice and attentive. The establishment was pretty clean but they so seem to have a fly problem. A fly landed in my grandfather's tea and drowned in it. They replaced the tea which was fine but it was pretty gross. The food is Tex Mex mid. It's not that bad but not that great either. I got the Flautitas appetizer plate which came with a good amount, and my husband got the Clara's Platter appetizer plate. Everyone else got chicken tacos, huevos rancheros, and enchilada plates. The salsa served with the chips was bad. It's tomato sauce with tobasco sauce or something. Chips were nice and crunchy! Apparently the margaritas were good. Overall they have great customer service but the food isn't something I'd want to eat again unless it was our last resort.

I got the frozen peach margarita and my wife got a double old fashion. I can honestly say that the peach margarita actually had a ton of peach flavor which was a plus for me. We wanted to try the table side guacamole, but when we watched it being made for a table by us, we realized that we could in no way finish or make a dent in how big it was. It looked really good though. We ordered the white queso. It had great flavor and was perfect for the 3 of us. I got the enchilada plate that came with 2 cheese enchiladas, a crispy taco, salad, refried beans, and rice. Everything was very good and it was way too much food. My wife got the 3 verde chicken enchiladas with double refried beans and our son got the chicken chimmey with refried beans and rice. They both loved their plates as well. Also on a side note, the hot sauce didn't have a ton of cilantro in it which is a huge plus for me as I hate cilantro. We had a huge take home plate and got out of there for 80$ with alcohol drinks. We were able to sit and talk because it wasn't too noisy in there. You should give it a try.

Never apologized for the wait, or asked how we were doing or even told us her name. Then we ordered table side guacamole. The young kid making our guac dropped the pit from the avocado then bent over, picked it off the filthy floor and then continued making our guacamole without changing gloves. So gross! Then multiple orders at our table were incorrect and the kids meal chicken fajita taco came with only chicken and nothing else. Again, we've been here before, so we know what the taco typically looks like. The waiter apologized, brought a small bowl of cheese so we could top it ourselves. Then has the audacity to charge us for cheese on the bill and argued with me that the kids tacos never come with cheese. Then why have they every other time? The overall experience was terrible from start to finish. We won't be back.

The tacos have been consistently delicious, the macho nachos have been amazing, the beer is cold, and the staff has always been friendly and professional. The atmosphere is really chill and we even have a favorite booth. However, over the past few months, we have noticed a drastic downward trend of both food quality, and availability of menu items. I'm not sure what the issue is, but it has not been an isolated event. They have consistently not had flour tortillas, chicken, steak, or even french fries. Over half of their menu is consistently absent and the food they do have, has been poorly prepared and of cheap quality. I've loved going to the Cantina and do not post this with any feeling of satisfaction. I have not rushed to my keyboard at the first sign of something displeasing. I'm only posting this because I hope the problems can be fixed and the Cantina returns to what everyone has come to expect: great food, great servers, great prices, and a great atmosphere. Until that happens, I can't justify spending money on what is now, a consistently poor culinary experience.
