As I did, I recalled them being a little pricey for tacos, but as I said, I was hungry so I was willing to spring for it. I just ordered one taco lite and was on my way. I pulled over, unwrapped and dug into a very good looking taco... Not only did it look good. It was absolutely delicious! I devoured that thing in two minutes and wish that I had gotten two more. This location in Norman has recently fallen off. I grab lunch there and have started getting burritos that are 80% cheese for some reason, and paying 5$ for a crispy taco that is soggy and has 0 crunch only 5 minutes later. At this point it is not worth the money anymore. I will be thinking twice before spending any more money there. read more

Visited this location on Sunday, 25 Feb 24. Everything was fantastic! The staff was friendly, the restaurant was super clean, and the food was delicious as always! We visited Taco Casa earlier today and were super impressed with the Manager, James, who was literally outside checking on folks in the drive thru to make sure they had everything they needed. They were super busy, for seemingly no particular reason, albeit, it was almost noon. Nonetheless, given the sweltering temps, It wasn't lost on us that James was single-handedly dazzling 2 lines of drive thru traffic while promoting his business in the best way possible. This place is always amazing. They are the most reliable and consistent Tex-Mex fast food place in town. They always get my order right, even when I order a TON of food, and it's always made fresh to order. I've tried everything on the menu and it's all top notch. They're always super quick with your order, even with a long line at the drive thru, and the employees are always so friendly. The dining room is bright and spacious, (looks like the building is a repurposed Burger King,) KUDOS for recycling the building too! The streamlined menu, means you don't have to search through 75 variations of a chicken-mick-strip, but has all the basics you would expect in convenient Mexican fare. This is my favorite spot in Oklahoma. Better than Ted's or Chelino's. This place has the best chiladas I think that is what they are called but they are two for five bucks on Sunday. They also have the best housemade salsa packaged in their convenient cups for $.50. It is the best salsa I have tasted. I ordered the soft taco remembering how Taco Buenos crunchy taco broke after a couple bites on me. The tortilla was super soft, not chewy. It came loaded with tons of thinly sliced iceberg lettuce and a handful of thin shredded cheese. The meat was lightly seasoned and not saucy like Taco Bells. I prefer no hot sauce because I can't handle spicy stuff. The lady at the drive thru was even real friendly with a huge smile on her face.
