We thought it was a cute looking mom and pop and its important to support these businesses, especially with the pandemic. I explained to the woman working the front counter that it was our first time and asked her for what she recommended. She rudely reached next to the register, pulled out their menu, and 'recommended' we looked at the menu. I 'recommend' you brush up on your customer service and not serve your customers with rude ass service, especially if its their FIRST time visiting your restaurant. You need to fix your damn attitude. Hello, we spent three minutes in line waiting for you to call us up as instructed in your customer guidelines. You think we were just waiting in line twiddling our damn thumbs like idiots? We waited for you to call us up because we don't like pressuring the people working at the front to rush their last transaction. The only saving grace was that the gentleman putting together the food said that he recommended the Super Taco Delight (which wasn't bad). I feel like he picked up on the fact that she was being rude to us and gave us a taco on the house. Stay away from the middle aged woman taking orders. The rest of the staff seemed nice enough. This place is what you would expect a very late night taco place. It's not the cleanest, but it's not terrible. I will say that I do not like the menu. They don't tell you what's in the items and it deters me from trying new things. There's often a line and the workers go quick so it feels weird to ask what's in a certain item. +1 star for late night +1 star for price (I've only gone on Tostada Tuesday and Taco Thursday) +1 star for really nice workers. I thought this could be a good option for finding some "white people tacos". I was right about the type of taco, wrong about it being a good option. Agree with other comments- save money and go to Taco Bell. Beef didn't have much flavor and the prices were pretty wild for what you got. If you notice, the parking lot to Taco Bravo is now almost always empty, whereas before, you could always find at least 1-2 cars there at any time of day up to 3 am. That's for many reasons. The food isn't tasting the same. Prices have tripled. Yes, TRIPLED. Salsa is now kept behind the counter and you have to ask, like Oliver Twist, for some more. The beans in the bucket don't reach the top; there is now a good half inch of space left. Even the salsa containers aren't filled to the top and they charge you for extra salsa. The burritos are smaller, and the tacos aren't filled up. The place has gone down. This place was supposed to be the cheap, plentiful, and good alternative to restaurants, but now is priced the same. A taco here is now $8.79. NINE dollars for a taco. Additional toppings are charged at 75 cents! That's nearly a dollar if you want a bit of extra lettuce! You're better off sitting down at a nice Mexican restaurant and ordering a nice, big platter of food for half the price. This was my go-to staple, and now I won't be returning. So great that this place still exists! A holdout from the 70s and 80s, what places like Taco Bell used to be before corporate bean counters took over. 'Bravo' has been a beloved favorite for decades. Not sure what's going on here.. if it has anything to do with Covid? Lack of workers? Food prices going up? Came here on the 4th of July; their hours were exactly the same as every operating day, despite the holiday. The staff was highly pleasant and the service was incredibly quick! We took advantage of their "Taco Thursday" deal (yes, Thursday not Tuesday! LOL) which was 99 cent tacos. I wish the meat has been a little more flavorful, but the shells had a great crunch and the cheese was plentiful! Yum yum. This is one of those walk-up places with no lobby/indoor seating. There is a portico overhang where you place your order with a few tables if you ever wanted to sit with a roof over your head. I don't know where to start, but this place is awesome. I've been coming here for almost 30 years. I come from all the way from the valley about an hour drive just to go there. I definitely recommend this place. The tacos are on sale on Thursday and the tostadas are on sale on Tuesdays definitely check them out. I asked for a bravo delite. They said they still have it but how do you make it. I said "fried flour shell. Then put beans on a flour tortilla. Wrap it around the shell. Then you put your filling in. When I had read reviews about this place regarding that the food tastes like Taco Bell, I know exactly what people are ranting about after trying one their dish. This old looking establishment needs a renovation to the exterior walls. Not a very pleasant sight to see with from afar; a bit tacky imo. The customer service was good so I can't complain about that. The ground beef had a similar taste to how Taco Bell's beef is seasoned. And If you're a big fan of cheddar cheese then this is your go to spot. They are extremely generous with their cheddar and servings. *I had told them to go easy on the cheese* Lumberjack portions in reference, but it's a bang for your buck which is a good thing. Had everything I wanted in a classic Nachos meal. Crunchy tortilla chips underneath a bed cheddar cheese AND nacho cheese. Jalapeños (request for it) and diced tomatoes. Not bad for your typical hard shell cheap taco. They're 99 cents on Thursday's but a heads up only the beef is. I only eat chicken so I got a chicken and paid full price 2.44 Chicken was pretty good. For me Taco Bravo will always be the best, and has been serving late night party people for at least the last 40 years. Taco Bravo is not a Taqueria- it is Taco Bell on steroids. I was driving my friend home from Campbell and when she realized the route I was taking she started chanting, "Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!" Don't have to twist my arm. Years ago when I lived in Europe I was returning home for a visit and made my usual request for Bravo before going home and my family informed me that the Bravo location by our house closed. They had waited until then to tell me because they were afraid I would never have come back if I knew. I was sad, but I did refuse to go home until they took me to the other location. Anyway, we were waiting in line and the woman in front of us was talking about the chili Verde in religious terms. So when it was our turn we ordered 12 tacos for my friend (she really, really likes the tacos) and I ordered the chili verde for the first time. The owner informed me I was going to love it and he's never steared me wrong. Well, I bit into and my knees went week. Found this place while driving theough the golden state. Food is off the hook. Cheap. Burritos are fat and full of meat. Dont let the poor health department scores worry you. Its awsome. Was so good i went back for another burrito and since it was taco tuesday got another set if those too. My mistake was i went to the hotdog shop next door and bought an ice cream and then hit the road. Generous portions, good value, and very tasty. Very much so a hole-in-the-wall local type place with a small, focused menu. The wait can be kinda long, but was worth it.
