This place takes way too long, I waited in the driveway for 30 minutes ridiculous and I paid 38 dollars for 5 tacos way too overpriced.

Terrible customer service. The staff at Taco Boys are rude, impatient, and don't know how to speak to customers respectfully. I asked for light ice in my horchata and they filled it to the top with ice anyway. When I politely asked for it to be remade, the worker literally snatched it out of my hand at the window. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I'm not sure what the employee's name was, but he was wearing glasses, had an AirPod in his ear while working, and a goatee. Always on the hunt for good tacos. Found em at Taco Boy's! Tried the carne asada and al pastor. Never heard of the vampiro style where the cheese is melted on the tortilla, crispy like a tostada. Game changer! The pastor vampiro was amazeballs! The carne asada was nothing special but I'd make a trip to deep Phoenix for some more of the pastor. Plenty of tasty and spicy garnishes to top it all from the usual onion, tomato, cilantro and lime plus jalapeno bits. My go to is green salsa and it's usually how I judge a place but the roasted red salsa was the stand out along with the avocado crema. read more

Probably the best taco I ever ate. Them boys seasoned that meat so well it don't need condiments. Honorable mention, I placed a to go order and when I got home I didn't even reheat the taco and it was still good! 10 out of 10 for sure. Let me preface this by saying I love Taco Boys. I usually go to the one at the Roosevelt location and their tacos slap on a late night out. This is my first time going to the Dunlap location. I decided to cater and ordered a few days in advance to pick up at 11:00/11:15 AM. On the day of, I called at 10 AM to reconfirm the order and see if it will be ready by then. They told me it's good to go and asked me about payment. I asked them to double check if the payment was sent. If not, I can do it over the phone. At first, they said it was paid for and called back saying it wasn't. No problem, let's take care of the situation. And, they said to just pay when I get there. They only started putting together the order when I got to the store at 11. I left at 11:40 and was told they don't make it ahead of time because they've had people not show up. If this is a consistent problem for y'all, make it a requirement for a deposit. If you want catering, Taco Boys is not it. Just go to Maskadores instead; they always have orders on time. read more

I love the bar of toppings like cilantro + onions, plethora of salsas, loads of limes, etc. Although the line is typically super long (no matter the time of day), the team gets your order out fast for you to enjoy fresh! Unfortunately, I think I went on an off day. I ordered the carne asada fries and the fries tasted like they had been sitting there all day because they were tough to eat. There also wasn't enough balance with the textures which made it taste very dry as well, so without the salsa I wouldn't have been able to eat it. I ordered this and a bottled drink and spent about $15 just for myself and it felt heavily priced for the quality I got. I didn't have any photos, but the ones from other reviews are pretty spot on. They seem like they can get busy since we were in the drive through for about 25 minutes, so going inside might be better. read more

Stopped here for the first time for lunch takeout. Ordered two small quesadillas - one pollo, one pastor. They were both excellent. Both filled with meat and cheese and very tasty. I went inside to order as I wasn't sure if the drive-thru would offer all the salsa bar items. I got the guacamole salsa (LOVE IT), some pico de gallo (great), and onion/cilantro mix. They also offer med/hot salsas, radishes, limes, etc. I will def return and try other menu items! There is plenty of seating inside, and the restaurant is clean and cute. read more

These tacos here are delicious. Went to there other locations for lunch and it was busy, but service was fast. Tacos there are fire as well. But this is their newer locations and the service and food was still on point. They made a mistake on our taco order, but instead of taking it back they just gave it to us and corrected the order. A bit disorganized with expediting food and people eating at table eating at different times

The food was delicious but the drive thru wait was ridiculous. I waited at least 10 minutes with 1 car ahead of me who had waited longer than me. Also, they were only taking cash in the drive thru. My order came to $11.37. I paid with a $20 and only got $8 back. If you are only accepting cash then the customer should get all their change back, then we can decide to tip or not!! My daughter and I were excited to try with the good reviews of the tacos. We tried the Al pastor, cabeza, and carne asada. Their Al pastor is alright-wish they had salsa con piña....the carne asada was a win. We also ordered the horchata because my daughter LOVES horchata. However it had an odd aftertaste and was really powdery. I don't know how else to explain that. Skip their $5 horchata and get a coke instead. Service is ok, they did forget one taco and I had to go back and make a separate order for not getting it. A little chaotic but we got our order. The smell of Fabuloso immediately hits you when you walk in. The place was clean. We ordered 4 tacos each- barbacoa, pollo, asada and pastor. The asada was fatty and lacked flavor. Pastor was bright and good quality meat, but flavor was almost non existent. Pollo was meh. Out of all tacos, barbacoa was flavored the best and the meat was incredibly tender. It was greasier than I like. Glad we tried it, but was not blow away. It's just average. There are better taco shops nearby. read more

I've been told by several people I work with that this is the spot. What I experienced was sub par at best. I got a carne plate and 1 pastor taco. The taco was great but the carne asada was cheap extremely fatty meat, I'm talking very low grade. VERY LOW GRADE! Food city has way better meat and that's not even the best quality. Next time I go back I will try all the tacos they offer but I will stay away from the fatty gross carne. It's just not good, under flavored and cheap fatty meat. Did I mention it's fatty and cheap. I'm glad this new location opened up as I have been eager to try Taco Boys. They did not disappoint at all!! While I have not tried every meat yet, I definitely will. The Asada is amazing, the Pastor is the best, the Barbacoa is flawless, and the Pollo delicious. You get to choose corn or flour tortillas and the salsas are all great!
