What a hidden gem in the small town of Tecumseh! We took a little drive over to check this place out based on the high ratings. We were greeted by the owner who gave us a history of the restaurant and a full explanation of the menu items. We tried a variety of items, and all of it was delicious. I really enjoyed the mulitas because it was something new to me. My favorite meat was the al pastor, but the steak and carnitas were great too. Some things to note about the restaurant: The parking situation is a little haphazard; you kind of have to guess where to park. There is a small step to get onto the sidewalk that leads to the entrance, so that is something to be aware of. There is also some outdoor seating as an option. read more

We happened to be in the area so we thought we would try this place. Tacos were pretty good, the home made salsa was good just enough spice for me and tasted good. The people were very nice and friendly. The rice could have had a little bit more flavor, but was ok with salsa. Will definitely be going back. read more

Taco Boy is worth a regular stop but particularly on Taco Tuesday. Everything was delicious.. Start with fresh hot chips and queso with homemade salsa produced fresh daily. We ordered the 3 Taco plate with rice and beans. We asked for variety so it came with 1 each chicken, carnitasl, and beef. My favorite was the beef. Stopped on the way home and wasn't disappointed. The owner was incredibly nice and friendly. The food is delicious. We got the taco plate, chips and nacho cheese, and wife got the birria tacos. He is a master of cuisine craft! The Chicken Enchiladas (3) with nicely spiced, creamy white queso, fresh lettuce, refried beans sand rice were great. Do try ALL the house made salsa - full of flavor! My husband raved about his Pozole - a large bowl of stew with mouthwatering spices, corn and pork. We kept hearing about "Taco Boy" from a YouTuber. Then we realized they were In Tecumseh, OK! We drove 15-20 minutes off I-40 and man was it worth it! We started with the sampler plate. It was glorious! The steak street taco and the quesabirria taco was my favorite (but the chicken & the pork was also pretty dang gooooood). We were given some chips and salsas to try. That salsa verde was magical and my husband really loved the habanero extra spicy. We were so full when we were done we didn't get to try anything else.....so we got a steak burrito to go. I ate it for dinner later. It was still so delicious but I could only eat 1/2 of it. I will absolutely start making this detour to stop in and grab a bite each trip up and down I-40. It is 'mom&pops' at its absolute best. I saw some comments on the pricing. I thought it was adequately priced for the quality & quantity of food. Maybe those people have never actually purchased groceries or cooked over a stove all day? Sorry my pictures are incomplete. I was there to eat not review. But so good I had to review. If you go by or near Tecumseh you have to try this place!!! The owner recommended a fish taco brand new to his menu and let me tell you, I have not had a seafood based taco this good in over a decade. The slaw on top was so delicious and the fish was not from a frozen bag, it was hand breaded juicy and so flavorful. I had a carne taco as well and it was so so good with their green sauce. We had chips and salsa and the salsa was amazing as well. They told me they would have live music on most Saturday nights and we can't wait to go. This place is so amazing and Leo, the owner is such great guy. It's always exciting when new restaurants move into Tecumseh. We got a great one this time. I've been to lunch here twice in the first week they have been open and always try to ask Leo to pick me something out. I've had the Carne Asada Tacos, the burrito, and this last visit I tried the Taco Al Pastor. I loved every one of them. The flavors are awesome and the meats are so tender. I can't wait to go back and try something new. This is authentic Mexican food at its finest. The service is always friendly and fast. You can choose Tacos, which are only $1.50 apiece, Burritos, Tortas, Mulitas, Sopas, Quesa-Birrias, Quesadillas, and the Carne Plato.
