Not sure why Yelp listed it as Taco Bell and not Taco Bell Cantina even though it's a cantina. Anyway, we decided to stop by for dinner on our way to Bart since we were biking all day. It was pretty busy at 6pm on a Saturday, especially since it's near Fisherman's Wharf. I'm glad that they had a bunch of kiosks available to place orders because I'm sure it would be a headache to have to wait in line. We ordered a few items and my favorites were the nachos, cantina crispy chicken taco, and nacho fries. We also ordered a Premium Tequila Strawberry Margarita and it was a vibe drinking it since the bottle reminded me of Fat Tuesdays. Eating Taco Bell again after so many years feels so nostalgic, and I think it's one of the best fast food chains.

WHY IS THE MUSIC SO LOUD?!?!? That was my first and only thought walking into club Taco Bell. The music is so loud, you can't even hear the employees call your order. Clearly this shows my old age. If you're a twenty one year old college student or tourist, you ll absolutely love this place. There's alcoholic slushies, screwballs, and a vast array of different types of drinks to choose from. They have their classic menu items, some that are Cantina elevated which is fun. But ultimately you're at T BELL, the place you want to be at the end of a drunk night.

I love Taco Bell spicy potato tacos for $2.00. They're so good! This location in Fisherman's Wharf is a great addition to the strip. But...there's no bathroom. The beers are $10 and it's Taco Bell. So no happy hour. Order your tacos and sit and enjoy cheap food in a great location. You'll just have to hold it if you need to use a bathroom or place to wash your hands.

This location is a fun addition to a relatively sleepy strip of businesses in The Wharf. True to the over-the-top chain/franchise theme in the area, Taco Bell Cantina offers all the cheap mass-produced addictive classics. Furthermore, this location offers boozy sugary refreshments in neon colors, perfect for brightening up Instagram or Yelp review feeds. Don't expect a life-changing experience here- it's a fast food pitstop that gets the job done. I personally enjoyed a casual cheap thrill dinner here for under $20.

This is a good Taco Bell Cantina. They have a slightly different menu and has Taco Bell merchandise. Ordering can be done at the self kiosk. On my first try, the touchscreen crash. I had to use another kiosk. The restaurant was busy. Only a few tables were available. It took about 20 minutes for my drinks to come out. It was two margaritas at $9.50 each. After 20 minutes, I asked about my drinks. The worker said to go to the bar. The bartender hasn't started on them yet. She should check on the orders more often or hire more bartenders. At least she was cool about it.

Kiosks to order food

So excited that there's a Taco Bell in the area (especially a Cantina!) literally been manifesting this haha. There's a bunch of kiosks where you can order your food and a pick up counter once your food is ready. We got our food fairly quickly, found seats without issues (even with a good amount of people inside). There's a bar area with 5 TVs so you can watch sports while having a drink and enjoying some good ol food. They also have non-alcoholic freeze drinks too. We got the Mango freeze and it was a 10/10. Def recommend and will come back!

I live nearby so I was very excited when this new TB cantina opened. Every time I order food, it's wrong or missing items. It's fast food so I never expect perfection, but now that they've served me a beef burrito as a vegetarian I'm extremely upset. I ordered the black bean grilled cheese burrito directly from the vegetarian menu and confirmed my order as well. Took a bite and got a mouthful of beef. Never mind the last two times I went and they forgot an item in each order. This location is nice inside, but the bar is all it really has going right now.

Being born and raised in San Francisco most of my dining experience was at a local mom and pop restaurants. Fast food places in San Francisco were really not available like in the surburbs and other cities. Wendy's is no longer in San Francisco. There is no Chick- Fil-A and no Dunkin Donuts which are top 10 fast food chains in America. San Francisco is truly a fast food desert. It's interesting when a new fast food place opens up in San Francisco because it's a rarity to locals and to outsiders it's why they went to San Francisco trying to escape. I am not saying there is no Kings but there are more Super Duper Burger locations than Burger King in SF. I did end up at a Taco Bell Cantina on a Winter break stroll in the tourist trap in Fishermans Wharf. As a native San Franciscan getting fast food Mexican food is going to a Mission District local Taqueria and getting a burrito. This Taco Bell Cantina was surprisingly welcoming and it also had a bar with some Grand Mariner , Don Julio ( not to be mistaken for Don Juan) Grey Goose, and Jameson. Inside you see a purple decor and kiosk to order your drinks and food. It also had a bar with televisions so can watch sports like the football games. I do eat one thing at Taco Bell and it's their nachos. My favorite types of nachos are stadium nachos at concerts and sporting events. It's like how I enjoy my Philly Cheese steak, I prefer cheese whiz over provolone cheese pull in SF. These vegetarian nachos were good after a few drinks and watching some football. They were cheesy like some in SF. A good place to land if you are looking for some nachos and drinks at the tourist trap at Fisherman's Wharf by the water in SF( it's not like Taco Bell in Pacifica by the water). Not much "fast food" in most San Francisco residential "neighborhood "this is the place to watch football games and baseball games where Los Angeles sport teams will get "booed "and you can get some adult beverages to get in the "mood" This is different than your ordinary Taco Bell "store"it has a different layout and a purple "decor "when it comes to Taco Bell only locations in San Francisco there less than "four" at this location you can enjoy some cheesy nachos with an alcoholic drink with an extra shot "pour"

This location needs to be shut down. The first time they messed up EVERY item in my order. Gave me food I can't even eat. Then they cancelled two orders back to back. The last time they delivered just a bag of hot sauce.

Some may say what can you expect from a franchised small business. But a business is a business…read moreregardless of what type. I write today not because I expect five star customer service or food at Subway, but because I expect common behavior such as explaining a menu at a minimum at any food business. I didn't think it was out of the ordinary that with three staff (all assuming they were family members who run and operate the business) were there and no other customers, it took them at least five minutes to just acknowledge me. So, I just watched and listened as they continued chatting away with each other and standing at the register. When finally, a gentleman came to ask my order. I ordered and he was having a phone conversation so kept repeating the same question. That's all ok and I can get over it. However, it was when the second customer came in. He asked if I ordered and I said yes. Of course, they all took their leisurely time to ask his order. He orders the new item of the nachos on the menu. As he was trying to request toppings, one of the older ladies at the register appears so quick, I didn't realize her legs can move that fast - and starts yelling, "You can't add toppings, that's it! Just cheese and whatever it comes with!" So, the customer asks "I can't pay extra for it?" She yells again, "No! That's it! Doritos, cheese, and whatever it comes with!" And SHE asks him "Have you had this before?" And as the customer tries to ask something else, he says "No, I haven't had this before, it's my first time and last time I'll ever have it." Obviously, he was unhappy with her tone that he said this, but never once did he raise his voice or get upset. He was so calm. But, instead of just explaining how this new item "works," this lady just continues to repeat the above and by that time, I'm just checking out and was confused and very displeased by how she was treating him from the body language, voice tone and volume. And one can hypothesize why. Was it his skin color? The way he was dressed? Why would it even matter? But I can't help to think it might matter more than we would want it to. To add further context, he was just a worker nearby getting off work getting food. If it's a new item on a menu, it doesn't cost the business owner to just explain it without yelling. If it had been explained, I wonder if maybe he would've ordered another item and maybe it wouldn't have been his "first and last time." This was a witness-account experience that directly impacted my personal experience at this business. It doesn't matter how big of a franchise or small of a hole in the wall business, a paying and respectful customer should not be obligated to know new menu items without ever seeing or having tried it and be yelled at for asking questions about it. Pretty simple and completely unnecessary how it had to be played out. **I understand and can imagine all the types of rude and horrible customers and non-customers a business can get, not to mention, the difficulties of owning a business. However, that sentiment goes both ways- even the customers can be having their own challenges , everybody is going through something and when they walk into a Subway, it means they want something fast and fairly affordable to just fill their stomach. If someone doesn't know an item on the menu, just explain it. Don't yell and treat them like s***.

The carnitas were shredded with a little fat, but not spicy. I liked that the flavors were simple and mild. Compared to the adult portions at Chipotle, the kids meal is much smaller and lighter, which I actually prefer sometimes. The regular bowls or burritos can be quite large, so the kids meal is a good option if you don't want a heavy meal. Overall, I like the kids meal portion size, especially when I just want to eat something light.

I ordered a protein bowl and received a rice monument with a ceremonial sprinkle of meat--so small I initially thought it was an accident. It was not. When I asked (politely, foolishly) if that was the correct portion, the employee responded with an attitude so hostile I briefly wondered if I'd personally wronged them in a past life. The look I got suggested I had committed a crime by expecting food from a restaurant. The bowl was 90% rice, 9% disappointment, and 1% protein hiding for its life. No apology. No correction. Just vibes. Bad ones. If you're looking to pay premium prices to be disrespected and malnourished at the same time, congratulations--you've found your spot. This was my second visit to this Chipotle location, and unfortunately the experience was again…read moredisappointing. I understand that they stay busy with both dine-in and takeout orders, and I'm willing to give grace where it's due--but the overall operation here feels chaotic and poorly managed. Whoever is running this location clearly needs support and a better system in place. The cleanliness was the biggest issue. The floors were dirty, tables were messy, and trash was overflowing throughout the dining area. In a restaurant this busy, tables and trash should be checked and maintained every 30 minutes to an hour like clockwork. Paying customers should not have to wipe down their own tables or hunt for a clean place to sit. Basic supplies were also missing. There was no ice in the machine, no forks or spoons stocked, and lids for drinks were nearly gone. The counter area was dirty as well. These are fundamental details that should be monitored continuously, especially during peak hours. A simple restocking and cleaning system would make a huge difference. What made this more frustrating was seeing several employees standing around behind the counter, appearing overwhelmed and unsure of what to do--like deer in the headlights. Time wasn't being used efficiently, and no one seemed assigned to maintaining the dining area or addressing obvious issues. With clearer roles and leadership, this could be avoided. With the increased cost of eating at Chipotle these days, you'd expect that higher prices would come with a cleaner, more organized environment. Right now, that's not the case at this location. The food itself is fine, but the lack of cleanliness and organization makes it hard to enjoy the experience or want to return anytime soon.

Orders for pickup are never ever ready on time. And this location is unfortunately always dirty.read more
