They don't cook their refried beans in lard like most fast food places do. Lard is animal fat just FYI. Pretty gross if you ask me. This location is awesome because they are open late at night. I believe they close at 2 or 3 am and that is the best thing when you work nights like myself. I can come get some tacos on my lunch break. My go to menu item to order is the vegetarian bowl fresco style. You can order anything fresco style and they add pico de Gallo and take away the sour cream/ cheese. I usually add potatoes to the vegetarian bowl and it's great!! Comes with black beans, lettuce, tomatoes, pico de Gallo, guacamole, sour cream (I opt out), cheese (I opt out) and potatoes (I add on). Lots of protein and veg. I also love the bean burrito fresco style. And the potato tacos with no sauce. Just sooo many options at Taco Bell. This location is decent; nothing bad or unusually good. I went thru the drive thru a few days ago and I ordered two chalupa meals one chicken and one beef. I was so upset so could not enjoy the food I had been craving it was the worst I've ever gotten. The chalupa shells had obviously been out way too long weren't even soft they were so hard I couldn't even eat them. My beef combo especially had probably a pinch of meat all it had was sour cream and lettuce more then anything. I've called the restaurant to complain about the quality of my food and missing items, the "Assistant General Manager" has no customer service skills. I've given then about 6 chances and end up having to micro them when I get home. The last two times I've said it's a problem that I ask for double steamed and still get them not even melted. They still won't fix it. Tonight was my last trip. I asked nicely then asked at the window again if they are sure they are being double steamed.
