The food is glorious. And it was packaged so nicely and attractively! Plenty of limes on the side even though we didn't request additionals. I had the Tres Quesobirria tacos and each was so packed with delicious beef! The bouillon was incredibly flavorful. I could only eat one, but one of my guests had one of mine and liked it very much. I had the last one just heated in the microwave the next day and it was almost as good as the first day. My husband and another guest both had the carne asada tacos and liked them. My husband is picky so I was relieved that he was satisfied - he actually used the words "really good" which sort of amazed me. Another guest had the chicken taco salad which was generously adorned with probably an entire avocado, and quite a lot of chicken. It was artfully prepared. Sides of rice and beans were even special; tasty and appreciated. I will be making a trip to La Catrina in person sometime very soon.

The salsas were house made and of the five we tried, every one was really good. I think our favorite was the roasted tomato salsa that comes with the chips. The service was quick, the food was quick, and the decor is upscale. After the meal i had the pleasure of talking with all the staff. The cook works at the Ridgefield farmers market as well during the season. The woman i talked to was telling me about tequila tastings with some amazing distillers. And our server was a lot of fun and did a great job. The combination of good food, good conversation, and good tequila really won me over on this place. The tacos were cooked beautifully, the fish was battered well and the toppings were fresh. The shrimp was amazing. The shrimp were massive, cooked well, still nice and juicy. The team was really friendly, and the place is clean. Great food, great service!

They were all topped with a delicious deep fried pickle chip, however I do wish they would have put actual pickles on the burgers. Otherwise, they were delicious! The veggie burger appeared to be homemade or at least higher quality as you could see the oats in the patty. The beef burgers were all thinly smashed and had the crispy edges you expect from a smash burger. Although they have a full bar, none of our table opted for a cocktail. This is definitely a good spot for a family meal or a brunch with friends.

They did not mind at all. We got our meals and they were pretty good. I got the combo breakfast with biscuits and gravy with 3 eggs, two strips of bacon, two sausage links, a slice of ham and hashbrowns. It was really good. She liked her huevos rancheros and she said that the salsa was really good. This was a much better experience than the last time I was there. I will be coming back again.

Also, my husband was wondering if it could possibly be worth leaving the interstate and going through 3 traffic circles. Bottom line: SO worth it! What a great growing town, a great local spot with friendly service and food that makes you talk with your mouth full because you can't wait to say, "Wow! Amazing!" for the 10th time. We had the brisket sandwich, fish tacos and pork. We also had the carritos, cole slaw and fries. Every bite was phenomenal! So if you live here, what are you waiting for? If you don't, take that little side Jog off the beaten path. And Guy Fieri, I expect to see an episode featuring the Nest very soon! This was one of the first places we stopped in and we actually went back several times to the point where the staff knew we were the Vegas people haha. At first we did their beer flights. And we also got the burger and fries, too, to eat. Their food is OUTSTANDING! And their beer is even better!!! I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. And honestly, this beer was incredible. Literally every beer I tried was so good. A few times we came in we sat at the bar and chatted with some of the employees who were soooo nice. They have games, too, so we played some trivia and uno and it was a lot of fun. We seriously had the best time here. The owner even chatted with us a bit and he was so nice, too. One night they even had some guys out front smoking some meats and we struck up a convo with them, too. Honestly, the people in this town are so friendly. Especially the people that work here. They're SO kind. Definitely would frequent this spot if I lived here. But again, we had sooo much fun here and I highly recommend checking out this place.
