Fine no-frills food for a good price. Everything is well prepared; owners/cooks are nice folks, and they'll accommodate if possible (and as an old, ex-chef, too many people ask for too much, as if a cook is your own private chef), and good, freshly prepared food. That is why a person goes out to eat. Never had anyone demand or add-on a tip, and in fact, if you pay cash, you get a bit of a discount. Just authentic Cali-Mex food.
