I have to say even my teenage daughter was impressed. The tacos were all great. The Carnitas Tostones is a gem. I make these at home and I can say they did an exceptional job with combination of fresh veggies, meat and sauce. Of course the Chicken Burrito Bowl was the freaking bomb!!! And took the show. We all loved that one. Better than one we had at Fort Lauderdale By the Sea at a fancy restaurant. The service was great Andrea was on top of our needs and remembered everything we asked for. She checked in with us very often. The look inside makes you feel a burst of happiness with all the vibrant colors and decoration. And omg the music choices were all my favorite so I felt in heaven happy . Will be back to try them soon.

Our waiter was friendly, patient, and attentive throughout the meal. I ordered the ceviche and the mushroom taco. The ceviche was fresh and flavorful, though it was served inside half a pineapple, which I found a bit impractical and, in my opinion, an unnecessary waste of food. The mushroom taco was the only disappointment, as it lacked flavor and the mushrooms tasted more like canned than fresh. Fortunately, the rest of our group was very pleased with their meals. Overall, the restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, good service, and very reasonable prices, making it a nice option for a relaxed meal near the beach.

Hands down, some of the best authentic Mexican tacos I've ever had!…read more I stopped in for lunch at Habaneros Mexican Taqueria in Pompano Beach and was absolutely blown away. This place is the real deal. The tacos are cooked to order, so yes--it takes a little time. But wow, is it worth the wait. I had two tacos: asada and carnitas. Both came out hot off the grill with generous, juicy portions of perfectly seasoned meat. The flavors were rich and fresh, and the texture was spot-on. What really set them apart, though, were the homemade corn tortillas--warm, slightly chewy, and clearly made in-house with care. Just fantastic. I skipped the cilantro (not my thing), but the freshly diced onions added a nice crunchy contrast. And the salsas--oh man. They brought out two squeeze bottles, one red and one green. The green salsa was my favorite: cold, zesty, just the right amount of heat (about 5/10), and full of flavor and texture. The red salsa had a deeper kick and great flavor too--definitely not shy on the spice. A final squeeze of the lime wedge brought everything together perfectly. If you're in the area and love tacos, this spot is a must. I'm already planning my next visit.

This restaurant has the most authentic Mexican tacos (what we call tacos de calles) from living in Los Angeles, CA. Not that I'm the expert, but I've had my fair share after many years of late night clubbing and grubbing on street tacos made on the spot. Our family has been enjoying the closest thing we've found to traditional Mexican food since moving to South Florida five years ago. They have a full line of Mexican bakery goods, sell flan and custom cakes too. For me, it's all about the tacos!! While we were used to $0.79 tacos back in Cali, we certainly cannot complain as we typically eat here for $20-35 for the three of us, including tip. It's definitely a gem, hidden or not.
