During my most recent visit to this Taco Bell restaurant, I had just returned to the Pittsburgh area from a vacation in Mexico! My Mexican tour guide had actually mentioned Taco Bell and said that it was not real Mexican food. And here I was going through the drive-thru of this Taco Bell! But I had an excellent reason: My airplane had landed late, and no other restaurants were open. This Taco Bell was open until 2 AM on Saturday nights. My wait in this drive-thru was very long, but I believe that only two employees were working inside the restaurant. The employee who took my order, processed my payment, and handed over my food did a good job. She gave me a cheerful hello and thanked me. Unfortunately, the shells for the Mexican pizzas were out of stock, but I was able to order all other foods that I wanted. At home, my husband and I ate our food. The employee had put all correct foods into the bag. I enjoyed my chicken quesadilla and my chips with queso. My husband enjoyed his food as well. I agree with my Mexican tour guide that Taco Bell does not compare to real Mexican food, but I feel thankful that this restaurant was open for me when no other restaurant was. read more

We stopped in the the Taco Bell on McKnight Road for dinner and the service was atrocious. There was 3 people working and one of them was sitting in the back just staring at us at the counter waiting for help. We recieved our order but forgot our drink. When we went back up we had to wait 5 minutes for someone to come over after saying "Excuse me" 3 times to get someone's attention but we were ignored. When the young worker came over, he gave us an attitude and rolled his eyes at us. Our food was also gross. We ordered a quesadilla which was not cut whatever. We got an order of nachos and recieved 4 chips in the bag. We will not be returning to this location because of how horrible the service and food was. read more

The service was non existent. Was there today at around 1230. Ordered my food and proceed to wait. After about 30 minutes go by I start to get real annoyed and move to the front so they can see me. The cashier recognized me from when I walked in and confusedly asked what my order was and name on it. I don't know what the issue is with this Taco Bell. Every time I go here there can be 1 car or 5 cars in front of me, but the wait is still 15+ minutes to get your food, which kind of defeats the purpose of it being fast food. The last time I went there I got home and some of my items were missing, irritating but not worth my time to go back for them. Then I opened one of the taco wrappers and sitting right next to the taco, thankfully not in it, was a metal screw with a point on the end. I called up to complain and the first "manager" I spoke with just yelled "What?!" into the phone when I said I found a screw in my taco wrapper and then told me to hold and gave the phone to the actual manager. The next manager I spoke with was very nice and helpful, although she couldn't even figure out where a screw like that came from. She offered to remake the taco, but honestly I just wanted to let them know what happened and that they have a screw missing from something now, so I passed on her offer. read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but i was practically dying of hunger so i stopped in. Looks like your typical hole-in-the-wall joint when you walk in, but i was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and friendly service left me gobsmacked! Gazing onto the menu, the baja blast groped my attention away from the food options. After ordering, the worker smirked at me, as if nodding on that i had selected the correct item. I went to this location as it's open until 3 am. When I arrived at the location at 12:15pm it was already closed. This experience is beyond poor considering I drove 25 minutes to get Taco Bell due to the location being "open" when clearly it was not. We ordered through the drive through. We had trusted they would get the order right. We were missing 1/4 of our food when we got home (3-Chipotle Chicken Melts to be exact). If you are in the Pittsburgh area and looking to make a late-night Taco Bell run, this is the location to go to. Contrary to other nearby Taco Bell's, I haven't seen them close early. I never realized how small portions at other locations were until I got a chicken quesadilla from this one that was actually full all around. They give you more cheese and meat and sauce for your money, and it tastes noticeably better than the food at Taco Bells nearby. The employees are also some of the nicest and most enthusiastic I've seen. In comparison to the Taco Bell in north side this seems like a completely different, better company. I ordered a cheesy gordita crunch, steak quesarito, and a baja blast in the drive-through mid-afternoon on Thursday 10/4/14. The steak quesorito tasted severely burned. The baja blast also tasted poor. If I had to guess, their soda machine was broken. Admittedly, I haven't had baja blast in awhile, but I certainly remember enjoying it. This place was so friendly. Stopped in this afternoon while out that way. The food was fresh and good better then the ones by my house and the service was quicker and friendlier. I told them that their was a stopped up toilet in the ladies room and they addressed immediately. There were 2 employees working a late night Saturday shift, granted one of the employees was working his butt off, but that is not sufficient help considering weekend nights are likely the busiest nights of the week.
