It has that nice, quaint ranch-style feel that fits right in with the city of Norco. Overall, the food was good. I ordered a wet carne asada burrito, but next time I'll definitely opt for a regular carne asada burrito instead since I wasn't really a fan of the red sauce on top. Still a great place with a solid setup and plenty of room to sit and enjoy your meal!

Still, I was able to find a spot quickly. Walking in, there's a sign that says "Wait to be seated", but when the waitress came out, she said we could sit wherever we wanted. We chose a booth by the window. I don't know how old this restaurant is, but I could tell that the booth we chose was really popular because the leather seats were so worn down that they had to patch some of the holes up. As soon as we were seated, we were immediately given menus, water, chips, and salsa. The salsa was really spicy, though, so as much as we love chips and salsa and would normally have finished it all off before our actual meal came, we could only eat half of it. Across from us was a big family of Latinos which for me was a good sign. After all, if they're Latino themselves, they could easily just make the same food at home, but if the food here was good enough for them to come here instead, then the food had to be decent. Since I'm vegetarian, I had to ask for them to not put meat in my enchilada, so the waitress just made it a cheese one. If you're vegetarian like me, there's not really much on the menu for us, but at least they're accommodating enough to leave the meat out if you ask. If you're vegan, you're really out of luck since it seems everything will have at least melted cheese on top. All of the food came out quickly and at the same time, which is appreciated since not all restaurants do that. In addition, the portions were big enough for us to eat most of it there, then be full enough to want to take the rest of it home, which makes up for the cost since it is a little expensive. Again, I don't know how old the restaurant is, but you could tell it's been aged through the years, like the paint is peeling off or splattered with what looked like salsa. Definitely a hole in the wall kind of place. On the other hand, if it's been around long enough to go through that kind of wear and tear, it's a testament to the loyalty of its customers. Plus, they do try to make it look nice with balloons, flowers, and flags. And they try to clean up the tables as soon as people are done eating. I just finished eating my leftovers and it tasted as good as it did when I ate it at the restaurant. So the food is good, the sizes, especially for the cost, are decent. Just know that the place is a little worn down, but the employees try their best to smile, be friendly, and quick to attend to your needs.

For years I have been a great big fan of Taco Bell. I love all the various food items offered. Because my house is currently being remodled , I am staying locally in one of the nice hotels in Norco. I have read all the reviews. A few captured my attention. ( 1.) One review stated that the employee did not get the order correct. I was not there? ( 2.) Another stated she found two spiders in her food. I was not there. However: All food should be inspected prior to serving it to a customer. As a customer , I always inspect my food before eating it. I love Mexican food. One time I went to a Mexican restaurant in Huntington Beach ,Calif. As I was eating the burrito I found a small rock in the beans. The Mexican restaurant was doing inside remodling and construction. They should have only did construction at night. When the restaurant was closed and all food locked up and protected. I never went back there ever again. When I go to any fast food restaurant , I watch to see if all the cooks are honoring the : F.D.A. Code? ( 1.) The F.D.A. Code 3-301.11.D. Third paragragh and the third sentence. These are the proper and only ways all cooks should properly touch food: ( A.) Clean & sanitized clean tongs. ( B.) Clean and sanitized spatula . ( C.) Washed hands. With correct soap and properly heated water. Then rinsed with water. Then dried only with clean paper towels. Then the cook will wear brand new clean , plastic gloves. The cook will then only touch food items with these clean and brand new plastic gloves. Example : Look at all the employees of Subway. First they wash their hands. Then they place clean plastic gloves on. Then after they get done making your sandwich they throw those plastic gloves away. Then they use the cash register and touch money. Those plastic gloves never touch anything else. To touch , trash cans, walls, broom or mop handles this would then be cross contamination. I have not been to this location as of yet. I do hope all the managers here at this new location recognize and honor the , Mandatory F.D.A. Code: 3-301.11.D. The three ways to only touch food. ( A.) Sanitized tongs. ( B.) Sanitized spatula. ( C.) Clean brand new plastic gloves. The hands are properly washed first. Then properly dried with clean paper towels. Once the clean and new plastic gloves are on the hands they do not touch anything else. That would be cross contamination . I love Taco Bell. I love all the various food items. I swear every time I try to order from this place they have a problem. They close before their hours posted, even during the pandemic hours. But the app shows that they're open. The times they don't close early, you arrive only to be told their system is down. They seem to be the only location that has this problem. Sounds like poor management. It's a shame because it's close to my house, but I would rather go to a completely different fast food restaurant then deal with this crap. read more
