A nice and cozy spot to grab some tacos and quesadilla with the family. They even have space for horses in the parking lot. So cute! We ordered cheese quesadilla, tacos with chicken, cabeza, and al pastor. We had ordered all without cilantro, and I think they may have mixed onion and cilantro and when I said no cilantro, they just threw a bunch of red onions on top lol. No biggie it was big enough and so generously offered that it was easily removed when we had too much in between our bites. The meats were all cut up nicely, tender, and had a good flavor on them. I asked for green salsa, and were only given 2. I supposed I could have asked for more, but then the line were getting long even within the last hour of operation. We also ordered the pineapple aqua fresca and it was so sweet and refreshing! Water is self service next to the counter. We enjoyed our food and Norco is one of the friendliest place we've been! Got the carnitas plate and a few different tacos to try. The meats were all very good. I think the sauce on the shrimp and fish taco was spoiled though. The rice and beans had good flavor and texture and they use good tortillas. I do wish they had the salsas and sides like pickled carrots and grilled onions available as self serve or just maybe given on a small plate for each order. We didn't see the grilled onions and jalapenos until we left and they would have been really nice to have with our meal. The salsas are ok in flavor but lacking spice. They have a yummy and generous michelada for the price. The place has a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating but it could definitely be cleaner. I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but after this experience I can no longer support Senior Taco. My family has been loyal customers for years and recently placed an order of over $100. During the phone order, my wife requested a wet burrito with half red sauce and half green sauce. Instead of politely explaining a policy or offering a solution, Patricia was rude, argumentative, and dismissive from the start. What made the situation even more frustrating was her explanation. Patricia told my wife that doing half red and half green sauce was too difficult because the sauces would have to be warmed separately. Yet when we received the order, the burrito had no red or green sauce at all. After making such a big issue over a simple request, the end result was a burrito without the sauce we had specifically discussed. During the conversation, Patricia identified herself as the owner. That made the interaction even more disappointing. If the owner treats longtime customers this way, it raises serious concerns about how the business is being run. A simple customer request turned into an unnecessary argument, and at no point did she make any effort to be helpful or accommodating. When my wife arrived to pick up the order, she wasn't greeted, acknowledged, or thanked. Patricia appeared irritated and unwelcoming, and the overall atmosphere was unpleasant. Unfortunately, this wasn't limited to one person. The employees also came across as rude, unfriendly, and lacking basic customer service skills. It felt like customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason the business exists. As a Norco resident, I make every effort to support local mom-and-pop businesses, but respect and customer service matter. After years of supporting Senior Taco, this experience was enough for me to take my business elsewhere. The food alone is not enough to make up for rude service, bad attitudes, and a complete lack of appreciation for loyal customers. I was expecting a typical salsa on top, like most places use, but this one came with a different sauce that really stood out. I am not sure exactly what it was, but it had a rich and savory flavor, similar to a more complex enchilada sauce. It was absolutely delicious. The carne asada was well marinated, and I liked the subtle tang from the lime juice that came through in each bite. The rice was a little dry, but the beans were creamy and flavorful. Would like to add, we ordered an order for pick up & they forgot our 3 carne asada tacos & an order of French fires. When we called them to resolve the issue, they swore up and down the cook put the food in the bag, when they in fact did not. Would not ever return, terrible customer service. I am giving 2 stars because the food is good and if you go when the right employees are there they are helpful and courteous. Now if you happen to go when the other employees are there it is a very different story. I've been several times and we have our regular order that includes chips and guacamole. I called it in as I normally do but this time when I picked it up I was given a full bag of chips and a miniscule side of guacamole that is just enough to put on a taco or 2. I asked about the size and the young lady at the counter insisted that was the only size they offered and I insisted back that this has not been my experience in the past. Finally she asked another employee and they happily showed her the larger size without a second thought. I then was willing to pay the difference to upgrade to the larger size and was told they COULD NOT do that and then was told I should have asked for the large size when I called and that I would need to make a second order of chips and guacamole. This all coming from the same person who just told me a larger size did not exist. My co workers tell me how delicious their tacos and burritos are. The location is in Norco on the corner of sixth and California st. I have been told this place can get really busy and that sometimes the wait is 30 minutes until you are able to order your food. When I went, it was not busy which I'm glad as I went on my lunch break. I ordered the cali burrito which comes with juicy delicious asada meat, guac, beans, cheese, pico de gallo, cilantro and onions etc. my first bite I was in heaven! The meat had such good flavor and paired with other ingredients and I enjoyed every bite even if I didn't have salsa that's how good it was. I got to the end of the street and noticed Senor Tacos and decided to stop for a quick bite. I told myself going in ...."just get two Tacos....nothing more.....don't do it......two tacos, that's it..... I had read some previous Yelp reviews and noticed that several people noted how good the shrimp tacos were, so that was an easy pick. My second taco was Birria, both tacos ordered "with everything and please throw some hot salsa on top. I'd also like 2 red salsas on the side". The hostess Janet, was very pleasant and accommodating and I could tell she smiled under her mask as she handed me a small plate with two tacos, a huge slice of lime and a beautifully grilled jalapeño. The shrimp taco ($3.25) with cabbage, pico and some chipotle dressing blew me away. It was the best shrimp taco I've ever had. The Birria taco ($1.85) was killer too. The salsa hit the spot, I was happy And impressed. On the way out, I mentioned to the guy working the front counter that I've had a lot of tacos throughout Southern California and I considered these World Class and gave him and the guy in the back (who was working hard) two thumbs up. It turns out his name is Juan and he was super kind and thoughtful. I asked where the sodas/aguas frescas were on the menu and she pointed at the soda dispenser. I told her I can see the sodas, I'm asking how much they are each so I can determine whether I want to spend $20 on four drinks or not.
