Standards like soft tacos seem to be ok, but it's happened multiple times now where their bean burritos are lacking beans. Given that the price has almost doubled from it's previous dollar menu status, it should match more closely to what's shown on their website. This time I took them back up to the counter and got a shrug from the cashier when asked if they could re-make. I was there on 6/19 @ 9:00pm I went through the drive-through who was ever working on the window thought they'd have a conversation with some other woman for 15 minutes while people were waiting in line get my order. Absolutely filthy in this restaurant. I went in to order and the first thing that caught my attention was an employee who was about to get off who was so loud about how happy she was to get off ! I get is maybe she had a bad day but perhaps vent when customers aren't around. I can't really comment on service because it's kiosk orders. The only time you have interaction with an employee is if you chose to pay cash at the counter, which I opted for, and when they hand you your food. The food was Taco Bell food. This is the worst Tbell we have ever been to! We have had horrible service in the past, but out of convenience, decided to give it one more try yesterday. We went through drive-thru. They were out of Pepsi, like completely out. We ordered tacos with only meat and cheese for the kids. The tacos came with lettuce. We asked for them to be made properly and the staff acted like we were bothering them. They asked us for the old tacos back ( not like we wanted to keep them anyways but it was strange that they said it was "policy" to take them back). They then forgot our order of nacho fries. When we reminded them they seemed annoyed as if we were putting them off by asking them to get our very average order correct. When we received the fries, there were literally about 8 French fries in the entire box. At this point we were overly annoyed with the situation and grossed out so we just drove away. My 6 year old son became very ill later that night with horrible abdominal pains. He then had diarrhea and vomiting all day today. He definitely had food poisoning. He was the one who ate a taco after we had them make it properly, without lettuce. We are afraid they may have tampered with his food since they were angry they were asked to do their job properly. I wish I could give lower than 1 star. Tonight reminded me why I drive to a different Taco Bell. The Taco Bell closest to my home, less than 1/4 mile sucks. I tried placing an order online to pick up on my way home. After 10 minutes I gave up. Went to the drive thru and that what I ended up doing. Waited anothet 10 minutes in the drive thru no one took my order. Drove thru and they turned the lights off for the drive thru. Mind you it was only 8:35pm on a Thursday night. Everything says they are open until midnight. I tried calling the restaurant and phone is disconnected. Just I just need to know what time zone they are working with. The staff is rude, I could literally hear the manager making fun of a customer for asking for something that wasn't on the menu. I've tried to go 3 times in the past 2 weeks and got turned away for different reasons each time. First time, computer issues. Second time.. they weren't taking orders. This location is the absolutely worst Taco Bell I have been to, every single time I get to the drive through the person taking my order is EXTREMELY rude and sounds like they don't care at all. If I ever have a question all they refuse to answer it and tell me that I should just "figure it out". Other than the extremely rude and terrible customer service they also are the grossest and most terribly managed store I have ever seen. I gave them my card which was perfectly clean and when I got it back it was COVERED in grease and black smudges. A quick decline and unbelievably slow service has ruined what used to be one of my favorite lunch spots. The staff used to be all smiles and happy to see you when you'd come through the drive through. The food was always made fast, looked presentable, and tasted great. Over the course of this summer all of that changed. I thought maybe with the return of the school year and a more permanent staff things would go back to the good old days. Instead they have only gotten worse. Today was the last straw and I will not be going back. 1. It took 20 minutes of waiting before I even got to the speaker to order my food. In the past at the same time this would only take 5 minutes on a busy day. 2. Once at the window I was asked to wait and it took 3 minutes before they could take my order. 3. After giving my order it took three minutes to get through the 2 cars before me 4. Once I got to the window it took another 4 minutes to get my drink, burrito, and taco. All in all it took 30 minutes, my allotted time for lunch, to get my food and drive away. During that time I saw 6 cars leave the line and drive away only one of which was ahead of me in line. I was more than tempted to do the same, but thought it may get better. What this situation taught me is that the service is still on a downslide and I will be taking my money else where. I refuse to wait for thirty minutes for what used to take 8 minutes during a busy lunch rush. I will not pay for food that looks like a blind person shoveled it into a wrapper. As other reviews have stated, this is a pretty terrible Taco Bell store. The main issue that I have encountered is unacceptably poor staffing levels, which seems to be an issue at most Taco Bell locations, but this one tends to be the worst I've seen, especially during the PM hours. Forget coming here with a large dinner order, and don't even bother after 7pm. It's pretty hopeless. I've had ok success here with small lunch orders (when they actually have more than three people working) but they aren't overly quick even then. My wife and I foolishly decided to get a dinner order at this location for us and our two boys the other night at about 5:15pm. Long day, didn't want to cook, we were already in the area, yada yada... we went inside to place our to-go order and used the kiosk. It was a pretty big order (can't be helped when feeding hungry 9 and 15 year old boys). We were the only ones in the lobby initially and the drive thru maybe had one car. Nonetheless, it took at least 20-25 minutes for our order to be made, mainly because there only appeared to be one person working in the kitchen initially, with a second employee appearing after a few minutes to assist. I don't fault the two employees; they were working their butts off. Taco Bell's process is very labor intensive - much of the menu is basically made to order. There should be a bare minimum of four people working back there at all times, even when others are on break, and ideally a couple more on hand to assist when things get busy, and to wipe down and mop the place when not. Any less, and the process breaks down to a pathetically slow pace, as we saw first hand. While it is certainly possible that a few employees called in, it wouldn't shock me if the management has allowed under-staffing to perpetuate hoping that the kiosks would make it all work somehow. We saw first hand how that is a folly when a couple and their two young daughters came in after us, followed by another couple. I think the second couple eventually left without ordering, but the couple with the two girls waited at the front counter forever and was never assisted the entire time we waited because the two employees were too busy making our order and a drive thru order. After watching the couple struggle with their misbehaving kids for several minutes, I made the mistake of suggesting (in a friendly manner) to the Mom that they try out the kiosk. The Mom not-so-pleasantly informed me that the kiosk doesn't make available the one item her kids will eat (which she later mentioned (while leaning over the counter to shout into the kitchen) was the pinto beans side, which is not a regular menu item). While Taco Bell is not responsible for the conduct of these or any other customers, they are responsible for the interminable amount of time we had to wait next to them because they had no employees to spare to take their order and not enough to make ours in a timely manner. Eventually we got our food. While we attempted to check our order in the lobby, we discovered at home that it was wrong nonetheless. Fortunately, it was sort-of in our favor, as we got two more expensive items (that we didn't order) in place of two missing items that we did order. Therefore we weren't ripped off at least. The two workers were clearly in over their heads. We felt bad for them and had no intention of going back and waiting another 20 minutes for them to give us the missing items. The food itself was fine, though some of the hard tacos were smashed and some very burnt cheese and stray un-ordered veggies made it into some of the wrapped items. Pretty typical for Taco Bell. This store always has "now hiring" posters all over it with offers of bonuses. Evidently it's not enough. We may need $15 an hour fast food employees just to ensure there are enough able-bodied people in every store for them to effectively run. Taco Bell clearly isn't attracting enough reliable workers at their current pay rate, particularly at this store. read more

I stopped in before a work meeting to grab a quick bite to eat. I have never in my life heard such language from employees in a restaurant. They were talking bad about other customer and using every swear word in the book. Now, I swear too but not in front of customer or at work. The manager even joined in and said "well yes I am the f'ing manager" when she was describing having a customer ask if she was the manager. As someone that leads a team you are doing a very horrible job setting an example when you are using the "f word" and talking about customers while you have customers in your restaurant. This location is literally 3 minutes down the road from my work, so it's a fast and easy place to stop for food. That being said, I will not be coming here anymore, and I'm not sure I will ever give this place another chance. In my years of visiting this restaurant I have had various levels of discomfort including the dining room being used as a day care for the employees, music volume being turned up very loud so the staff in the back can hear it, my favorite drink always tasting wrong/bad/improper to the point of choosing a different beverage, the other beverages having strange tastes to them, dining room freezing cold during the winter with vents spewing cold air, poorly stocked supplies/napkins/sauces. I have complained of the wrong taste of the beverages with no resolution the next visit. I have not seen the manager in the dining room, though he use to be there, the man I remember is no where to be found. I had to tell the employee behind the counter who seemed disengaged, but trying their best with what seems to be little to no leadership. One bright spot at this location happens to be the employees. Though several have come and gone, most seem to be genuinely helpful and work hard. I might stop in again next year some time to see if anything had improved. Whoever owns this business, this is a wake up call. I will be visiting Taco Bell at other locations during lunch, though most are a 10 minute drive, it will be worth it, to enjoy lunch again at Taco Bell. read more

Nothing ever works, so items aren't available, the staff is garbage and when you do get something it's poorly put together. I just waited 20 minutes in the drive through (only 4 cars between me and the menu) to be told at the menu that it'll be a 15 minute wait for food. They consistently disappoint me. Extremely slow service, my food comes out barely put together, I once got an empty cup of nacho cheese, yes they grabbed a cup, put a lid on it empty and put it in my bag... Taco Bell is one of my favorite "go to" fast food joints when I am in a hurry and want a quick meal. Although I generally like the food I purchase, I have to say that the way the place is managed is pretty sub par. The location doesn't seem to matter because no matter which one I go to, it is pretty much the same. The floors are dirty and in need of a sweeping up, the tables aren't wiped clean (ugh), the staff is too busy talking among themselves to give any real attention to their customers, and the rest rooms are atrocious, and the wait is usually a slur to the category of "fast food" as I usually have to wait nearly 30 minutes for my food. Management staff needs to be leading their team instead of following their poor examples. During one of my most recent visits an employee was actually cleaning out their car in the parking lot (on company time??) The whip needs to be cracked here!! read more

On my visit to Taco Bell today the older gentleman working the register was very knowledgeable on the menu, pleasant & offered us avocado sauce on our tacos which I didn't even know that was an option even though we didn't want it. He made sure we had napkins, straws & all of the right condiments & the food we ordered was also good.This was a totally different experience than I'm use to getting at your typical Taco Hell Lol. read more

I had a great experience at this newly remodeled Taco Bell in new Berlin. I really like the design of the building and upscale look. The food is Taco Bell. At this location the food was hot and fresh. The employees were very friendly and quick to make the food. The dining area was clean as well as the bathrooms. My two kids and I went in to grab a bite. My son is picky and basically just likes grilled chicken with sour cream and shredded cheese on it. The employees were very accommodating making sure they had the order correct. The person making the food even came up to speak to me for a moment to make sure he had it right before he made it. Stopped at Taco Bell at 3530 S Moorland Rd on 9/30/19 approx. 7:00pm. There were 2 cars at the drive thru and a couple at the counter. Also 2 employees working and one outside the building on his cell phone. The girl working behind the counter finally told the couple in front of me that they were very busy at it would take at least 20 minutes to serve them their food. They turned around and left. I told the girl I wanted to order 3 Burrito Supremes and she said it would take at least 20 minutes. I told her that was ridiculous and unacceptable. She said they were very busy and there was no manager there. I told her she should contact her manager and suggest that they should hire some reliable help. I also told her that Taco Bell just lost a customer for good. I left and went to cousins where I got my sandwich within a couple minutes. The cashier at the drive thru window yesterday is a thief. I stopped there last evening, around 8pm. While I waited to pull up to the window I counted out my total money owed of $8.37. Pull up to the window and hand over the exact amount owed. The employee took it and then a few seconds later says "it's $8.37." I said, "what did I give you?" He said "you only gave me $3.37." I know for a fact that I gave him the correct amount, but after waiting, I wasn't going to argue with the thief. Then, while I'm waiting for my order, he starts saying his night will be much better once he's off at 9pm. This is the slowest, poorly managed Taco Bell I have ever been to. Was there on a Sunday at 1:00 in the afternoon. One customer was sitting in a chair and told me they weren't taking any orders because they were too far behind. She was the only customer and I saw 3 cars in the drive in lane. She also said that when she arrived there were a couple of angry customers that said they waited at least 20 minutes for their food. An employee was standing behind the counter talking to a coworker and completely ignored me when I tried to get his attention several times. He looked at me but never answered. Finally another coworker leaned around the corner and said the only person that can take orders was at the drive up window. We walked out. I have been to this Taco Bell a couple of mother times and thought the service was INCREDIBLY SLOW but at least the employees would talk to me. ATER TODAY I MADE THE DECISION TO NEVER GO BACK TO THIS TACO BELL there is another location on National near 100 that will be my Taco Bell. read more
