The carnitas were definitely the standout and yet they were all really delicious. The salsas were standard red/green but pretty flavorful. I did see they use store bought tortillas which was a bummer. Still, good tacos were found in a city not known for their Mexican food.

Still, the service was welcoming, and there was quite a large crowd there for a Tuesday afternoon with lots of tables and booths in the dining area or you can eat at the bar. I tried the two enchiladas special with Carne Asada, a side of guacamole and chips. The "steak" was overcooked almost burnt, but the guacamole was actually pretty good even though it wasn't the table side selection. The chips could've used some salt but the salsa that was served with it was quite good and I liked that. For dessert, I tried their flan, which was quite disappointing. It was way too thick and almost lumpy. In some regards. I don't think I would order that again., This is a good Mexican restaurant but very Americanized for me and I'm not sure I would come back without trying some other local Mexican restaurants in the area on my next trip to Missoula.
