My lunch last week was fine until I saw this worker scrolling on his dirty phone for about 5 minutes, then took shredded cheese from the area below him and put it in his mouth with those same gloves. Reached out to Taco Bell but never heard back. Figured I'll just put their nastiness here for all to see. read more

Let's be real ... it's a fast food restaurant... right???? However I love Taco Bell, and this one misses the mark. The portions are smaller than average and cheeseless.Thumbs up on your lettuce...That seems to be the only plentiful thing you get on your food. read more

I have no idea why this is rated at a one and a half star establishment. It's not spectacular, but it is certainly a decent food joint. My wife and I drive between Chicago and Champaign every week. We have stopped at this particular Taco Bell/Kentucky fried chicken dozens of times. The food is very tasty and nicely prepared and we hardly ever have to wait at all. I have ordered both chicken and Taco Bell items they have always turned out very well. Also, nice big large parking lot out front and easy access to the store. Not the most spectacular bathroom; that's why I gave it only four stars. read more

I guess when you order steak chalupas, the employees thing ground beef is equivalent. My buddy also ordered 2 burritos and a quesadilla and got 2 burritos (the burrito had chips in them, nothing else) read more

I had to go pee and then when I went into the stall it had lots of poop!! It was on the toilet and ceiling. I was so happy that I started eating it all!!! I definitely recommend read more

No one has reviewed this TB yet? It's a taco bell, so if you are remotely a fat American, the menu should be familiar. Every time my brothers and I head to our grandparents, we always stop for 4th meal in Manteno. Service is friendly, orders are correct, but sometimes the chips are stale. Overall, I'd say this is a 4-star bell. read more

This Taco Bell is literally dog shit. Just stopped here on our way to Chicago and waited almost FIFTEEN minutes with only one other person in the drive thru. We finally got our order and even tho the receipt sub chicken on my taco and burrito, they were both beef (I cant eat beef) so everyone in my car is eating and I dont get to because some moron in the kitchen didnt take the time to read. And my mother in law and wife didnt recieve the avacado ranch in the side like they asked for. The girls up front seemed confused and I am really not happy. Horrible time. Take the 10 minute drive to bourbonnais that taco bell is on point. read more

It's an ok place, very cheap on servings especially the tacos .weird vibes from staff at times.

What can I say. Don't go here. The food is awful. They have never changed the oil in the fryer since the place was opened. I ordered their cinnamon twists and it tasted like oily cardboard. It was disgusting. My sister-in-law ordered the Mexican pizza and she returned it for the same reason. Totally inedible food. The burrito that I ordered tasted like it came out of the microwave uncooked and cold. How this place is in business I will never know. Judging by all of the negative comments, they just don't care. read more

We stopped here on the way back from Chicago. I ordered two tostadas fresco style. They came out with basically everything I didn't want on in...including beef. When I brought this to their attention they made them again but neglected to put the red sauce on it still. It's not rockect science. It's taco bell and if you work there you should know how to make the food correctly. Food was good overall and staff was friendly. read more

I live in manteno. There seams to be new management. Lately the food is really good. The help is wonderful and always treats me with respect and thank me for my service. I would tell anyone in this area try this to bells. Robert Smith read more

Worst Taco Bell in America. This place should seriously be shut down. I have been to this Taco Bell two times. The first there were BUGS all over the tables, floors, and drink machine clinging to food that was not picked up. There was a black hair in my bean burrito which I was forced to throw out, and the line was moving so slow that I saw three groups of people leave after I got there. The second time I went, they had NO SOAP in the restroom and instead of replacing it put an out of order sign over it. Not only were they out of soap but I saw an employee walk out without washing their hands!! I was starving so I ordered food.(the place was a little cleaner than last time) only to my dismay they were out of every pop except diet and water. I got my food 20 minutes later (after watching two boys put buckets on their heads and horseplay) the XXL grilled stuffed burrito was broken and extremely soggy! I asked for beans instead of beef because I'm a vegetarian as well as no tomatoes because IM ALLERGIC (on receipt everything was correct ) but it seems as if the kitchen staff thought I meant EXTRA BEEF. There were tomatoes on my burrito and I had to stab myself with an epi pen when I got home!No point in complaining they just ask if you want a refund or a meal replacement. I'd like to not die!! Staff is extremely rude and no one there seems to care. This Taco Bell should be shut down. Do not go here unless you want disgusting food, awful staff, and gross conditions. read more

Been here a number of times, never had an issue, but had to post tonight. Got to the table, eating, halfway through the meal and found that they forgot my cinnamon twists. Not the end of the world, but disappointing. Went up to the counter expecting a fight (it had been 20 minutes since my order) and not only did they apologize profusely and get me my twists immediately, they gave me 3 cookies as an apology, completely unsolicited! Definitely top notch service. Mistakes happen, it's what you do about them that really matters. read more

Ok since I reviewed this a year ago the only thing that has changed is the prices which have gone through the roof. Really? A taco with 1.5 oz of meat is two bucks? Go down the street to Loco and authentic tacos are a buck fifty. Yes this place is a KenTacoHut...bfd. They are constantly out of things. read more

We went through the drive thru and ordered KFC. It was terrible! The chicken looked like it had been put in the fryer twice, overcooked and looked burnt. The corn had been reheated many times, some of the kernels were hard as a rock. I'm over you KFC, will never return! read more

I have lived in manteno for 8 yrs. This tacobell is the worst and so are most of the employees. If I order a cheese quesadilla with no sauce it's always on my receipt right but I get it and it's smothered in sauce. My kids do not eat jalapeño sauce! So then I stand there and wait another 5 mins for it to be made again and it has sauce on it for the second time. Can these people not read. Then the manager has the nerve to give me a attitude??? It's dirty and there are new employees in there everything I go in there. If the managers are rude and the employees are rude what do u do? I don't go to this tacobell and wish I knew who the franchise owner was. read more

Seriously! Do you ignorant fucks even TRY?! The Mexican pizza ("Pizzaz" as it was known when it WAS new) has been on the menu since the 80's. And it's probably been that long since I got one that was put together well enough to actually eat. But today was the WORST, all the meat was in the corner of the box, and the topping was a slime smear in the opposite corner. Why the fuck do you even bother?! read more

The food tastes old and cold every time I go here. We all know Taco Bell food has to be fresh to taste good!! I guess I won't be going here anymore. read more
