On a road trip so this was a quick drive thru stop.?Food prep was better than a lot of other Wendy's restaurants in the drive thru. Chicken sandwich was tasty but very much a processed breaded piece of chicken which was not as appealing as former sandwich meat but ok. Lettuce mostly fell off so could have used additional mayo to make it stick. Chili is a fav of my husband but too greasy for me. Ring of grease on inside of the lid which is often seen. Dave's lemonade was the highlight of the order. Will get that every time! read more

Wendy's - Chili - Fast Food Near Me - Manteno, Illinois

See all

Went here last week and ordered a Dave's single meal with a frosty. Burger was far from cooked fresh, had a half cup of ketchup and mayo on it, and had obviously been under the heat lamp for six hours. Sent me home with a fork for my frosty, and the lady in the drive up was less than friendly. What happened to friendly workers and the quality? Used to love Wendy's read more

the two female workers in here, blonde hair, and brunette who took my order; absolute bitches. rudest people i've ever met in my life. the brunette hair girl who took my order had the WORST attitude ever, and the girl with blonde hair (who's built like a linebacker; chicago bears, you put this girl in your team, you will start winning the super bowl) was SO rude for no reason. these two girls both need to be fired. also too really top it all off, food sucked and there were hairs in both me and my boyfriends food. disgusting. and the place was also dirty inside. no one was in the drive thru, or inside, and took TWENTY minutes for use to get our food. also was only two meals we got. do not go to this place. and fire those two girls. read more

This Wendy's is near my home, so I want to eat here often. However, they mess up our order nearly every time. Tonight, after a late night baseball game, we bought 2 burgers, one for each child. We paid for 2 burgers and they simply cut the patty in half and stuck it on 2 sets of buns. Ridiculous!!! We're done! read more

Wendy's - 1 burger, cut in half, charged for 2 burgers - Fast Food Near Me - Manteno, Illinois

I didn't think I would ever write a review about fast food but I felt that this one deserved recognition. The 2 individuals at the window were so nice and super helpful. The food was also fresh and hot! read more

I am sitting here today giving this yelp review for three reasons........Number One: The bushes outside of the drive thru of the manteno wendy's are proposterous, the are far too grown out i nearly had my eye scratched out driving by as the twigs overlapped and poked through my open window pulling up to the register. (please consider giving them a good trim) Number Two: On the sign outside of the establishment it states that they have fast service well boy where they wrong it took me over eleven minutes to receive my order and i was late to give my cat her medicine so she ran away all because of how much time the manteno wendy's took to get me my cheeseburger and fries. (please look for my beautiful tabby cat named edna) Number Three: The drinks were questionable at best (i would suggest checking your soft drink machine ASAP read more

The staff was so rude I opted not to even order. I arrived 19 minutes prior to stated closing time. I hesitated a second to respond to speaker greeting as I could not understand what the man was saying as it sounded garbled. A girl then came over the speaker and rudely told me they were closing. There was no one behind me so I did not understand the rush. I said it is 19 minutes to so I should have a moment to order. I was then told I was burning up time as they close 10 minutes before the stated time. I felt my business was an intrusion so I just left. How do these people stay employed? Why advertise if you clearly do not want to be bothered with business? read more

Wendy's in Manteno is poorly constructed the gentleman that worked there are two lakhsyl I ordered a salad the salad was wilted they reluctantly wanted to give me my money back and I'm beginning to believe this area if you're a person of color they are dismissive and less congenial read more

I was so appauled when I came back to Wendy's to get the drink they forgot to give me. I pulled up to where you order and told them they forgot to give me my drink, and that I had my receipt to prove it. The young lady who originally helped me took my receipt, and closed the window. She showed it to another young girl who filled up my drink, opened up the window gave me the drink, and shut it in my face without giving me my receipt back or saying a word. Terrible service; horribly rude! read more

had a big clump of hair on my burger, very disgusting! wear hairnets or something

Today was my last visit. Only one car in front of me, yet when I got to the order box, I was told to wait. After six minutes, I said I think they forgot us. Again I hear "just a minute". I had placed and paid for a mobile order, ir I would have driven away. Finally after a total of 9 minutes, they asked for my order. I said mobile order, so she said pull up. Our food came out and we drove away. I then found that my biscuit and gravy had at best, two tablespoons of gravy. Final straw! DONE! read more

Don't bother ordering your nuggets "made fresh". The employees will have you pull up and wait just to give you old nuggets. This happens too often at this location. I've lived in Manteno six years and this is the worst fast food location in town. If someone orders their food fresh, they would prefer to wait for what they asked for and not get tricked. This location will just drop old nuggets into the oil for a second and call them fresh. Note to employees: you are not fooling anyone... they still taste old. This is our last time coming to THIS Wendy's because it's EVERY time. CORPORATE if you are reading this...do something about this location ignoring customer requests. read more

Horrible service. Waited 5 minutes to order. 12 more minutes and no food. Meanwhile others who came in after me were getting their food. When I told the staff person I had been waiting 12 minutes for my food she actually yelled at me!! Waited another 3 minutes before food was ready... No apology for the wait. I understand it was lunchtime and busy but it should not take 20 minutes from the time you walk in the door until you get your food. If I hadn't asked about it I would still be waiting. Won't ever stop here again. read more

Seriously best service I've had in a fast food joint. The employees were very honest about the food, such as throwing out the apple slices because they were expired, or dropping the fries, so they were working on a new batch. I really appreciate that kind of honesty and don't mind waiting! Everything looked clean, nothing was missing from our order, and the meals we got even looked like the photos! They were also comfortable and welcoming to my kids, which is a big plus! read more

I never thought I would be writing a review for a fast food restaurant. However, I had to for the Manteno Wendy's. Never in my 28 years have I seen a Wendy's run so efficiently and have amazing customer service. The lady who took our order was super friendly and even brought our food to the table. They were delegating and working as a team. I even heard a worker say "great job guys" when they completed a big order. They also had signs posted up saying Team Manteno. Every fast food restaurant needs to model after this group. Very impressed. read more

The shittiest fast food place you will ever eat at, the food doesn't even taste like wendy's it tastes like shit, customer service is horrible, that's if you can even understand what they're saying and everytime i go they get my fucking order wrong, as a matter of fact they did it again today i ordered 2 cheesy cheddar burgers and got a hamburger stacked with fucking onions i would seriously beat the fuck out of their manager P.s. Probably wasn't Curtis he's pretty cool read more

I love Wendy's but this one not so much , stopped on way home from southern Illinois, the cashier was less than polite and courteous, doesn't like answering questions , simple as what is the sawesome sauce , wasted money because she did not say it had some type of mustard sauce yuck read more

forgot all my food and almost poisoned my friend (she's allergic to mayo and they put extra mayo on her chicken sandwich) worker was also really rude read more

I will never return to this Wendy's . Horrible service they run out of food . I truly believe that they lie about running out because they don't want to cook it . I haven't never been to a fast food place that saids it will take too long to get fries then after I offer to wait they don't have them . This isn't the 1st time that I got poor service . This will be the last read more

Decided to try the Chibotta Bacon Burger yesterday along with a few other things. Also asked for honey mustard sauce. Drove away: first mistake Found out we didn't get honey mustard, we got barbecue (why ask if not gonna get it right). The Chibotta roll was straight out of the fridge cold. The six piece nugget was five. No quality control at all. read more

Curtis is AWESOME. Our truck had stopped so we came into the store to inquire about where we could get the car fixed. Curtis was just leaving a meeting to go home, but he gave us a jump and followed us to the auto shop but the truck stopped after a few blocks, so he actually took me to the auto part store to get a battery, brought me back to my vehicle and followed us to the mechanic to be sure that we made it safely. All that I can say is that THEY DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE THAT ANYMORE. If I ever get my own business, them I'm going to steal him away from Wendy's. What a GREAT young man. Thank you!!!! read more

Food was ok. We can hear the manager yelling at the employee's that's not very professional. Key Bank corporate office doesn't make a surprise appearance I think that manager would be fired read more

I like the fact that Wendys has real live adults working here. The chili is really very good of four star quality. Beef here is dryer that ither burgers but in a good way. Toppings always crisp and the place is always clean. I enjoy having it close to my house and have on occasion, had informal business meetings here. I stopped by the Manteno Wendy's today for a Frosty. Chris was at the front counter and served me well. He made me feel like I was not just another customer, but a person to interact with. I will stop by there next time I drive to Chicago from Champaign-Urbana. read more

This place SUCKS !! Does anyone there know what NO CHEESE means ??? So many times I had to return my sandwich because it had damn cheese on it ! Not everyone likes cheese ! Why do sandwiches automatically come with cheese anyway ? I have even complained to the manager about this problem. I then watched a girl re make my burger 3 times, cause she kept putting cheese on it !!!!!!! I give up ! I will never go to this wendys again ! Neither will my friends ! read more

This manager this after noon was really rude . I gave her 20 dollars and I said something wrong and she said I'm figure it out real rudely. And she was being very rude to a young man at front register today. This young was very sweet and nice he needs to be promoted or something read more

This is one of the worst Wendy's I have ever been to! Went threw the drive threw , and order food everything was good. Then after 10 minutes waiting , we were told they where making bacon.. then we get the wrong meal after another 15 minutes of waiting. They she didn't give us the second meal, and gave us attitude when we asked for it. The service from the Kyrie girl in drive threw is the worst service ever. Honestly if your going to be rude to customer who are nice to you please find another job. Phil the male manager here is a SUPER nice guy and made sure everything was taken care of. read more
