McDonald's might not be my go-to for a full meal due to how processed the menu is, but they're quietly stepping up their snack and drink game. If you haven't dropped by lately, try the refreshers. The pomegranate refresher is fantastic--crisp, bold, and surprisingly high quality for fast food. Their legendary pie lineup is also worth a visit. They've recently updated the classic baked apple pie, and if you're into seasonal flavors, they currently offer a pumpkin pie option as well. It's a great stop when you just want a quick beverage run or a warm, sweet treat. read more

Food always cold- very little seating- Rude manager - employees not properly trained. Wendys across the street. Go there

Ordered curbside, came out missing a drink, then noticed the happy meal missing. Got home and the sweet tea ordered, got sweet tea and lemonade! Large fries were only 3/4 filled! This is not the first time this McDonald's has disappointed us! read more

Food was hot and fresh. Staff were friendly and prompt. Had the double fish filet, wife had a quarter pounder plain.

I have been to this Mc Donald's multiple times order meals for my children that are not fans of mustard and slivered onions. So I just order ketchup on their cheese burgers for happy meals and for my older daughter who likes the double cheeseburger. But EVERY TIME I am at home scraping it off added more ketchup and lots of tears because they just can seem to get it right. Not sure if it's the person taking the order or the burger maker. I understand mistakes but EVERY-TIME retraining needs to be done. I have called multiple times. I guess I will try another towns McDonalds in another town when my kids want a treat meal. read more

Great service, friendly staff, fresh food and flowers on patio. I'll be back with my dog on the patio area this fall for sure.

I've gone to McDonald's for the past 4-5 years and they continuously screw up my order and I order the same thing two triple cheeseburgers only ketchup and 99% percent they put everything on it. How can you not read the screen? I worked there as a sophomore in highschool and I never messed up one order. They will no longer get my service. read more

If I could give this place a zero or negative number I would. There service is almost the worst I have ever seen particularly a young teenage female employee who rush customer and has a bad attitude. Stay away from this place Wendy's is around the corner. read more

Service was horrible, rude waitress. Food was ok but waitress left a bad vibe. She was arrogant & bossy. Not stopping there again.

Honestly this is the worst McDonald's ever. They can't get your order correct and you'll wait 15 minutes in the drive thru. If you want to start your day with some piss-warm weak coffee, then this is the place for you. read more

we ordered a meal and then we ordered a fry separate and then they didn't give us the fry and then when I went inside, they had bad customer service when I was trying to get the fry back and they were being awfully rude. read more

First of all it's a mcdonalds, the food is what you'd expect at Any other mcdonalds. However...this place is TERRIBLE!!! We were having a garage sale in town so decided to pop in for several coffees and 3 breakfast sandwiches.....it took 20 minutes IN THE DRIvE THrU!! Seriously, no over dramatizing the time, we sat in line for 13 minutes (3 cars in front of us) and then another 8 minutes parked to wait for three sausage biscuits. Any idiot could make three sausage biscuits at home quicker than this mcdonalds and a word to the wise would be to do just that. It has been a while since an establishment has made me as upset as this place. You, honestly, suck. read more

This one literally sucks. I went there and i ordered my meal and I asked for 2 drinks as well. Then I pull up to the window, pay for my order, and receive 1 drink. I thought to myself, "well maybe theyre just making the other one" and sat there waiting patiently. Then this kid brings me my food and explained to him that I had ordered 2 drinks and haven't received the other one yet. He says that he'll have to ring me up for another one and I was fine with that. This kid goes and tells the lady whos taking orders to rung me up real quick so i can get my drink and she started yelling at him saying that I had to go back around the whole line(which btw there was only 1 person in line behind me) because she didnt want to ring me up like that. I felt so badly for the kid because all he was doing was trying to please me and he got yelled at. So I just left without my drink:/ read more

The longest hair I have ever seen come out of a cheeseburger came from this location...

We ate here today. The service was nice and timely. The food was typical standard quality McDonald's food, which is what I expect whenever I visit Mcdonalds (I consider this a compliment since the only reason I go to McDonalds is because I want consistency whenever I visit.) Nice place to visit when if you need and place to stop when traveling on I57 read more

I can't complain about food quality, because you don't go to McDonalds for quality. And it was good by fast food standards. However, we were highly disappointed in the service. We spend over $50 in food (for 8 people) and when we asked for mustard at the window we were told that we would would have to pay extra for it. Since when do you have to pay for mustard? Especially after dropping $50 for a meal. read more

Worst McDonalds out there! They charge for extra anything! Avoid this store at all cost. Food always looks like it has just been slapped together. Meat is always half on the bun. Order is always messed up. I quit going her and still hear stories from friends and family on how terrible it is. There is no reason you should be charged for extra condiments. read more

My wife and I went here for the second and last time. Third in line, took six minutes before I ordered. The cashier waited until she was out of singles to request more. Waited EIGHT minutes to get my food. One item was missing. Tables were dirty. No employee was seen in the dining area during the entire time we were there. Never an apology for the mediocre service. Mickey D's corporate headquarters has been notified. read more

If I could give this place no stars today... I would. My husband went through the drive thru to get a medium french fry. He brought me half of a medium french fry from McDonald's. He said he never even opened the bag and didn't eat any. I sent him back to McDonald's... They replaced the medium french fry with a large french fry that must've been hours old. They were so disgusting and so salty. When I phoned McDonald's to let them know that I live 10 minutes away I'm not sending my husband back for a third time the only thing they offered me was an apology. I spoke to Austin, And he did absolutely nothing for me except, like I said, he offered me an apology which came across very snarky and rude. I am done visiting this McDonald's at this point. They never give you the proper amount of french fries. They are always out of menu items. Just the other day they were out of breakfast burritos. They have the rudest staff of any fast food establishments in Manteno. My advice: go anywhere else in this town to get food other than this McDonald's. read more

Zero is my rating. This family should be forced to sell their franchise! They also own the ones in Peotone and Beecher and they're all BRUTAL. Manteno is a the worst one. They take forever to make food and the workers stand around talking. Double check your order, it's probably incorrect! read more

Was in drive the thru today. No other cars were in the line at the time. I ordered chicken tenders. I order these all the time and know they are cooked to order so I was prepared to pull up. I looked at my clock and realized that I had been waiting for 11 minutes! I decide to go in and just ask for a refund. The cashier informs me that my tenders were undercooked and asks if I want a refund. Since that was the reason I cam in I say yes and she goes to the back and brings me cash. As she is handing me the cash she starts laughing and I ask what's funny and she says "nothing." At this time I remember I paid with my debit card and ask if the money can just be returned to my card. She says yes. I tell her that I don't understand why I had to wait outside so long if the food was undercooked because I have never waited longer then 5 mins for food that was cooked through. I asked to see the manager. The manager comes out and before I can get a sentence out she says very rudely "I don't know why you're mad, I can't serve you undercooked food." I proceed to tell her that I am not mad but that I don't understand why I had to wait so long only to be told that the food was undercooked. She said "I don't know what you want me to do but if you want your money back you need to swipe your card." At this point I am stunned so I ask, are you the manager? She replies yes and I said that she was incredibly rude. She says that I am "attacking" her and I told her that it isn't an attack. She is the manager and I am a customer that is having an unpleasant experience and I am informing that manager so that she is aware. The conversation literally goes in circles and I realize that I will never get an apology or even just acknowledgment of them talking responsibility which is honestly all I expected (other than my refund). Her name was Nicki. Beware of Nicki. She clearly needs to be trained. She is unaware of how to deescalate a situation and in fact provokes a situation that can cause a calm person to become irate. I will never step foot in this McDonald's so long as Nicki is employed there. This location is a disgrace to the Linman family name. read more

Terrible wait time. Poor service. Clearly a bunch of high schoolers running this place!

All mcdonalds taste the same, but this one overall is awful. Something is always wrong with my order or missing. I cannot go there and not have a problem. This mcdonalds is also more expensive than other ones I've been too it seems. I will order a fry, its half full. I will ask for a drink with no ice, and ice will be in it. I ask for extra ketchup...I get 4 total packets. They also have problems very often with only being able to accept cash and have a frequently broken shake machine. Luckily for this mcdonalds its the only place aside from Caseys in town that is open past bar hours. I will still eat here, but check your bags before you pull away. read more

This is the worst McDonald's I have been to. The other night I went through the drive thru and I ordered 2large diet cokes after waiting 10 minutes in line. I pulled around to the window and sure enough my 2 diet cokes were sitting there. Nobody was at the window, so after 10 minutes with still no one coming , my wife got out of the vehicle and went inside yelling at the 2 teenagers carrying on a conversation ignoring the drive thru window. Just today I went to the same McDonald's and was told by the employee that she would take my order in a minute, after 5 minutes the two cars behind me and pulled away, I waited another two minutes and the girl still hasn't taken my order so I pulled away without placing my order. Ever since this McDonald's remodeled the inside of their restaurant the service is deplorable. If I was the owner I would fire the whole crew and start fresh. Maybe the owner should work there like the show Undercover Boss and find out that he is losing customers. I won't go back. Oh and today there was only 1 car besides myself in the drive thru after the two other cars left. read more

Service is terrible and took almost an hour to get one large fry and denied us our food bc they didn't give us a receipt.
