I have to give props that almost all Jimmie Johns really are the same. The same sandwich everywhere you go. That being said, I am not rating them any differently than any other Jimmie Johns. They get three stars because they all get three stars. The only difference between this one and the other locations is the staff. Lucky for them, they are friendly and fast. But they are all friendly and fast. I will say that this location is EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN...and that is a variable that is not always the case. I will say that the staff accommodate subtleties in my requests...lots of mayo...lots of peppers...less oil, cut on the bias (cut at a diagonal instead of straight across the sandwich).....which I just said to mess with them. Actually I just think it is weird to cut a sandwich in half, not on the diagonal. My mother would not approve. I keep hoping that WikiLeaks with tell the Jimmie Johns story and I will understand how two college students living in the UIC dorms just could not get good food, and so they started getting stoned and creating these sandwiches. And all the other dudes on the dorm floor got baked sometimes too, and starting begging them to let them buy a vito. And so the R.A. got really upset because either Jimmy or John sold them an eighth and it was like...mostly oregano from the sandwiches. And a couple other dudes got upset because either Jimmie or John was drunk peeing in the dorm showers, which just sucked and so they had to move out and start a sandwich shop because, "Dude, the college thing was just totally bogus". i will say that the culture of this particular location is staffed by young, but highly professionally acting staff who have very little or none of the "Dude factor" and that is a good difference. read more

We thought we'd just run in and grab some sandwiches for a canoe trip with our granddaughters. Everyone loves Jimmy John's so it was a no-brainer. The location was very clean and the staff, well, they were beyond great! My car broke down in the parking lot and we ended up spending more time there than expected. They were so nice about it and even tried helping us out with our car! Next time we're in the area, we will definitely stop in again! read more

First time at a Jimmy John's. The floor was not appetizing what so ever. It was sticky and I will be wiping my shoes off very thoroughly. It smelt really weird in there, there was a sign outside saying "free smells" which made me very uncomfortable. I ordered a BLT and I got a BLT because they gave me a BLT. It was exceptional for a BLT at a Jimmy John's. The person who ordered might need to work on some subtraction. The meat on my sandwich was saturated and muggy. My bread was chewy and weird textured. It looked like a toe that was burnt at the end. The lettuce was extremely cold so it wasn't good for me to ingest into my food bag. Would not recommend. Jersey mikes rules. read more

Not good at all. Service was good and employees were understaffed. Orders were mixed up and were out of bread. Bathroom was disgusting

Horrible service. Waited 20 minutes for 1 sandwich while they made a whole delivery order of 15 sandwiches. I say service the people in the restaurant first. There was a whole line of people behind me waiting also. I would have left if I didn't already pay for my 1 sandwich. Will never come back. Sales manager was rude and condescending. She didn't want to explain the coupon and I heard her say jeez to the sandwich maker because I asked for my receipt. She also told other customers to wait so she could train her employees. She should train when there are no customers there not make them wait. read more

This is the slowest jimmy johns that I have ever been to. Went there today at high noon. They had two people working, and I think today was there first day. No sign of a manager anywhere! I waited over 15 minutes after my order was taken and paid for, then left with no food. Will never go back to this one again! read more

I ordered an unwhich with sprouts, THEY HAD NONE. The lettuce was awful and was not remotely green and was obviously old, hence the brown spots. I asked for a large cup for ice bcuz it was 92 degrees out, THEY CHARGED $2... this place is a joke and this is the second time I went. Never again!!! read more

I called for delivery. The lady that answered the phone didn't know where I was when I gave her the address. The guy that came on next knew exactly where I was. They didn't have a good selection of soda. Only cans or fountain drinks and $2 for a 12 oz can? I can get a 20 oz bottle for $1.50. Delivery has always been extremely punctual but multiple times the quality/freshness has not been on point. Note my picture of the #4 I ordered. Who would want to eat a sandwich when the bread is that hard it literally breaks completely apart when you touch it? The corner of the sandwich totally broke off! Never will I come back due to rude and disrespectful employee. Antwon definitely missed the training for customer service and respectfullness. Apparently he couldn't be bothered when asked to put all my sandwiches in a bag. Just said It's Self Serve. So the customer is supposed to reach over the counter and grab your own bag. This is an anonymous review to anybody that values their health. I just found out that the ice machine has black mold in it. I went in there on 04/05/2019 and after 15 minutes I started to feel sick. The next day 04/06/2019 I woke up with cold like symptoms. If anybody wants to report them to OSHA, the number is 1-800-321-6742. This jimmy johns is always rude every time i come in. I used to work at one and i know how it should be. These employees always give the death stare every time my friends and i come in. (We come in during the afternoon, its not like they're about to close.) The food i get from there is always slimy. The turkey doesn't seem fresh nor does the bread. I always crave jimmy johns but never go for those reasons. read more
