The general vibe of this place is Fast Food restaurant in purgatory. Holy crap this place is slow. All the reviews about slowness are accurate. The hardest working employee in the place was the order kiosk computer. We stopped in while passing through on I-55. Ordered at 4:05, served at 4:30. Most of the food was cold. No workers staffed the counter. Of the 4 people working, two were walking around the dining room looking at phones. The other two were in the back on the line and occasionally making food while looking at phones. Sometimes one of the people in the back would tell everyone waiting that the food was on the way. The place was not slammed or really busy at all. When I needed a water cup, I just walked around the counter and grabbed what I needed. There was nobody at the counter to get anything and the workers weren't exactly moving fast. I wish I hadn't stopped here on the drive. read more

Taco Bell in Madison, MS is by far the worst one I've ever been to. I've been there multiple times and always leave unsatisfied. Compared to other Taco Bell's just a few miles away the taste and temperatures are always off. The ingredients are always extremely stingy in application. The taco shells have tasted stale on multiple occasions and the burritos are always prepared incorrectly. From missing ingredients to just not being evenly distributed. The cinnamon twist on most times I've ordered from here were just the twist. No cinnamon or sugar. I'm officially done with that location and will hjust travel a little farther when I want TB. read more

Very very poor service. There was an extremely long wait and when I recieved my food I took a bite of the taco and it was bitterly cold. So cold I had a gum freeze. I realized the cook placed FROZEN tomatoes and lettuce that stoll had ice cycles on it- on the taco and this was horrible. Fast food workers just don't care anymore. They make you go to a kiosk to enter your own order. I tried to order at kiosk and it was acting glitchy then tried to order at counter and he told me no I had to use kiosk ( no one else as customer was in restaurant to order). The kiosk was acting up and I told him so. He said, no he doesn't know how to ring orders and I'll have to wait for someone who would be "awhile" or not get anything. Fanciest Taco Bell I've ever been to, must be because it's in Madison. It's in a beautiful building. I had no problems with the drive through service. I got my usual order of a beefy Fritos burritos with extra cheese and sour creams. The two of them were hot and they had a good amount of cheese, which is good because that's what I paid for. The drink wasn't over iced, which is great because hat Baja Blast is the best idea that humanity ever had. Some places give ya too much ice, which is a shame, because I want that blue juice in my belly I don't know how to really give a full review of Taco Bell. If I could give this place 0 stars I would, never in my life have I seen this level of laziness and rudeness from a taco bell at any other location. Whoever is in charge needs to get a hold of their employees and their terrible attitude towards customers. whoever works the shift around 1:30. I ordered a beef chalupa, to which the order taker replied we already have the chicken chalupas ready and I can't get beef inside it because they didn't want to have to make it. The lady at the drive through acted like I was telling her to do the impossible and pretty much looked at me like I was stupid when I told her I wanted beef instead of chicken. If it's that much of an inconvenience to them to put in the effort to make a new one with different meat inside I don't these employees chose the right job. At the end of the day, it's their job at it's most basic, and if they can't do that, they need to find some other industry to work in. They have an integrity issue. I was there for Mango whips because I had heard good things about it. The people who recommended it described it as an "experience". It was a 30 minute wait, many cars had given up and left but I was determined. I was finally able to order 2 mango whips (with no objection from the staff) but when I reached the window I was handed 2 Mango freezes. Confused, I asked if they would reassure me they were whips and they admitted they didn't have the cream so they charged me for Mango freezes. I accepted them without complaint because they had already charged my card. It wouldn't have been a lot for them to admit they didn't have the product before I placed the order. Yes, I would've driven away but I would've respected them more for it. It looked like they were short on help though so I won't give them 1 star. Idk how low I can go in limbo But if this Taco Bell Could play they would be the GD floor!!! Almost arrested by 5 police officers after the Taco Bell employees called!!!! Are you ready for the backstory?? I pull up into the drive thru and to my surprise after 5-10 mins no one interacted with my calls thru the microphone so then I pull up to the window.... To another surprise I get no sign of any human life aside from cars in the parking lot and food and drinks just lying around!!! So I get out of my car to check the front door which is unlocked and opened!! Tried to eat lunch there today. Cashier didn't seem to know how to enter our order. They were out of STRAWS. they didn't seem to have enough employees preparing food. This was hands-down the worst experience I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. Granted it was Taco Bell so the expectation bar should not have been that high but I at least expect decent customer service. Not only did I wait in line for 45 minutes but when I finally did receive my food I was missing two tacos and there was no sauce in the bag. (I ordered a total of 7 tacos). To add insult to injury when she handed me my food she sarcastically said "you're welcome."
