You're here strictly for the food--nothing more, nothing less. I ordered the 3-taco combo (asada). The tacos are on the smaller, tapas-size end, so don't expect a hearty portion. If you're looking for a quick, casual bite and don't care about ambiance or service, this may work for you. Just come with calibrated expectations. I am rating it 5 stars just because everyone else seems to like it.

I liked the radish on top of the taco and I liked the choice of salsa. My only complaint is the lime in the green sauce and guacamole. Lime should always, always, be served on the side. They have two vegetarian tacos, and I rather liked the more "real food" sweet potato and black bean than their tofu taco, but both were delicious. Upon seeing they had a seasonal special salsa; I was glad I took the option to order it as it was delectable and I liked it enough to haul what I didn't use back with me to save for another day. Their rice and beans have a vegetarian option, and given the option for various indulgences, I went for a semisweet chocolate cake, the sprinkles on which were unnecessary but fun. The salt level in something (or everything) was excessive, which had me gulping water. And it's a shame, because they could dial it back and this would still be some quality food.

So, this place had awesome service. The waitress was polite, attentive and yet her broken English worked perfectly for the position she was in. She knew the menu and came back to check on us more than a few times. 4/5 stars for the service. She was the best thing about the place. For the food, 1 star. The pictures on the yelp site showing the food explain it all. Notice some images show the food with excess liquid, I mean watery beans without any flavor? And then the rice was served without any seasoning. The guacamole came with huge chunks of tomatoes and it was hard to separate the avocado from the tomatoes. When we sat the waitress brought out chips and salsa. Half the chips were going stale. The salsa was good but more of a liquid consistency. We asked the chips be sent back and new ones brought out. The waitress did without a complaint. Then the things went downhill fast. My wife ordered the Chicken Fajitas for two, "Meh." I asked her about the beans and rice, "Meh." At least the margarita was good. It was sweet, but that is common and can depend on someone else's palate. She requested the corn tortillas because she forgot to order them at the beginning. The waitress brought them out without a problem. They tasted, "Meh." I ordered the Deluxe Burrito, it came out looking like a Picasso done by a three year old, filled with beef from a chef who used to work at the Bell. I tried to eat it but, "Meh." Long and short, nothing had seasoning unless it had the wrong seasoning and nothing was done right. This place deserves a 1 star.

The Burrito was just okay in my opinion. The spicy pork had a slight smell to it, which threw me off but it was cooked well. The portion size was huge, so that was a plus. But everything here was overpriced. As for the guac/chips, they were just about ordinary as any other place that offers the appetizer. Nothing to write home about. The Service/Atmosphere: Service was a little slow that night. But it was a little busy, so not a big deal. Plenty of seating indoors and spacious. And some patio seating outside as well. Overall, a 3.5/5.

If you're planning to come during peak dinner hours, I'd definitely recommend making a reservation because it started filling up quickly. The staff was welcoming, seated us immediately, and made us feel comfortable from the start. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the cocktails were well made. The food was the real highlight. The burgers were cooked perfectly, the beef tasted fresh and flavorful, and the garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. We also really enjoyed the soup of the day and the hummus of the day. The only thing that didn't completely wow us was the steak. It certainly wasn't bad but we just happen to be very particular when it comes to steak. Overall, this was an excellent meal with great service in a welcoming atmosphere. We were in the area to celebrate a baby shower and decided to have a group dinner. Mr Garcia was recommended and we were all in!!! Few things cannot be cured with a delicious quesadilla. Upon arriving, parking was FULL! Certainly popular. We even ran into friends in the lot pulling up with their parties too. It's a large establishment! Menu was full of great options- from meat, to chicken, to veggie. Can I just say- as a Spanish speaker myself, I know the food will be good and authentic when native Mexicans are managing and owning the establishment. Even the servers were bilingual! We started with a round of drinks, I ordered a pina colada and several at the table ordered peach margaritas and modelos. Drinks were delicious and a good size! The special prices were just right. Then we ordered our main entrees. Due to it being a Friday in lent, I ordered the veggie combo where I had several options to pick 2 from for a meal. I got the chile relleno with cheese potatoes and beans and the veggie quesadilla. It was very filling! The food came out straight from the kitchen! Other dishes ordered also looked incredible- from the arroz con pollo to the taco salad. The chips weren't my favorite, tbh. Seemed a little burnt and thick. I like my tortilla chips from restaurants "restaurant style" so thin and greasy and crispy, and these weren't that :( they also had a white sauce served with chips and it was sweet and strange honestly. Of all the authentic aspects of this cuisine, this one pick didn't belong. I understand wanting to cater to the locals but this sauce didn't seem enjoyable at all. The chips also aren't bottomless, one basket more is free and any following is $1.99, not much but still. I ordered a flan to go! I'll absolutely be back!
