The salsa was a bit too chunky and sweet but still pretty good. The chips were crispy and salted well. The fresh salsa they give you to put on your tacos was a mix. Actually, really nice! We could people watch and carry on a nice conversation with the man in the window; I wish I remembered his name, but his pride in his work and food was extraordinary! She ordered two steak tacos, and I had a lengua taco and a campechano taco. The tacos were decent, but on the smaller side for the $4-$4.50 price point and weren't particularly loaded with meat. Great customer service always goes a long way with me and can really make a difference in the overall experience. Would I make a special trip back just for the tacos? Probably not. But if you're already shopping there and want a quick bite, they're perfectly okay-and the friendly service definitely deserves some recognition.

Place looks fun and exciting. The menu was absolutely huge and we had no problems finding anything! Service was quick and the waitress was very attentive. My husband ordered Chili Relleno . The only thing is he was hoping that it would've been deep-fried like previous places, but it was wrapped in an egg. It was different, sadly it wasn't his favorite. I ordered three enchiladas one cheese and the other two shredded beef and they were very tasty. I would only recommend adding some cheese inside or some more sauce on top as they were a bit dry. Again, flavor was good just needed more moisture. The margaritas were very tasty!

There was not a single person other than us in the restaurant, and that alone should have been our sign to leave. We got there and were asked about drinks. We saw the menu said they had a happy hour. When we asked the waitress she first said they don't have a happy hour. Upon showing her the menu, she went and asked someone and came back and told us drinks were $1 off. We ordered the birria chimichanga and diablo chicken. The rice was under cooked and the beans were very bland. The worst part was the chicken. It was very chewy and tasted off. Even the salsa felt like it had no flavor. We ended up paying and leaving without finishing our food. Within an hour of leaving we both started feeling very sick. It's hours later and we're still making trips to the bathroom. We both tried the chicken and are fairly certain that was the culprit. There are many excellent Mexican restaurants in Fondy. I would pass on this one. I will say the waitress was very nice, and no blame on her for the experience.

I ordered two carnitas tacos and one lengua taco all of which were on point! The meat was tender and flavorful with a green and a red hot sauce served on the side that added just the right amount of heat and a nice added boost of flavor. They were served with onion and cilantro true to the street taco experiences I grew up with in Tucson. The rice was fresh - none of those surprise "crispy" grains that signal rice that has either been sitting out or reheated. The refried beans were fantastic and also reminded me of home. Even the horchata was amazing. Although the food was a standout what struck me most was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Clean tables, floors, and bathrooms all signal that this restaurant cares about details. Even the hot sauce bottles (which I am used to seeing cakes with old drips and drops) were absolutely spotless. I truly believe that things like this matter and suggest that the kitchen is also in good shape.
